I think your suit looks great and I hope that you will wear it even without a 40s hairdo and makeup. Yes I remember seeing pictures of my mom having a little hankies in those top pockets. Or maybe a hanky and one and a pin on the other, but you are right you have to pin through the pocket to make it hang right. Anyway, well done you

The buttonhole was really neat. I’ve never done one like that. This type of project is over my sewing level right now. I want to watch videos like this just to get used to the idea lol thank you 🙏
For future reference, if the garment you are making is washable I highly recommend spray starch when working with rayon.
