do we approve of this moth fabric because I have been coveting it but it was an online exclusive at Joann's so I couldn't get a feel for the "heavy" vs "Drapey" in order to make the purchase

It feels like a heavier weight quilting cotton. So it's not see-through like some of the cheaper ones can be, but since it's a little heavier, it does have a little bit of a stiffness to it. The dress I made has a bunch of pleats, which the fabric holds super well, but it probably wouldn't be good for a pattern that needed a flowy, soft drape.
