- This weeks episode is extremely information dense!
How will SpaceX transition from fabrication tents to the brand new Starfactory without interrupting the Starship Starship and Booster Production? Is the Orbital Tank Farm in the middle of another major renovation? Why haven't the Chopsticks been used to stack a booster yet and are they finally ready? What information can we get about this hidden Starship Orbital Launch Mount at Starbase Kennedy?
There are a lot of questions that need answering, and CSI Starbase has your back.

Last but not least I want to give HUGE SHOUTOUT to the entire CSI Starbase team on discord. This dedicated team of 100+ agents with specialties ranging all across the board, has been crucial in getting the most accurate info for these episodes. Couldn't do it without yal! - Наука та технологія
This video is proof of how fast SpaceX moves. Right now B7 is being lifted by the chopsticks, just mere hours after this video went up. Wonderful work CSI Starbase keep up the good work!
Dude, this is the deep dive I've been craving for so long! Yes to ALL the technical stuff! (Also, you almost share a birthday with me).
absolutely fantastic coverage, deep dives like this are the exact thing I've been waiting for.
Easily one of the most informative videos about Starbase I've seen so far.
Wow I just want to say that the csi starbase videos are absolutely incredible. I wish I had watched them sooner
Another outstanding job of sleuthing! CSI Starbase provides detail and context I cannot find anywhere else!
Best Starbase update channel out there. Such in depth breakdowns. I love it! Zack is my favorite person to listen to talk about Starbase, he's so knowledgeable!!
Laughed at the shoutout to Marcus House. As a fellow Aussie I love his updates weekly, particularly how he gives shoutouts to all the content creators out there. I firmly believe that all the many content creators cooperating is a win for all, and us space enthusiasts, rather than them trying to “win the likes”. The space enthusiast community is a great example of how cooperation in space will lead to better end results.
Excellent work! My new favorite Starbase channel. Really love the deep technical details!
The second half reminds me of what they were saying when Einstein's GR first came out:
"There's probably only a dozen people in the world who fully understand it."
...and the intros are awesome!
Russian tank made me subscribe
I'm in love with your videos. What more can I say???
great work, CSI Starbase and SpaceX!
When I first saw the length of 43:32 I doubted that it would be interesting. I was wrong because every segment was interesting. Us space nuts live for this. I also light your “Just the facts” delivery. Reminds me of Joe Friday who was a movie/TV police detective. That is a compliment. Great work.
Thank you! I was worried the length was going to be a problem. I’m glad people enjoy the format of these episodes
This is awesome coverage! There are many youtube channels covering daily operations for Starship but none of them go to this level of detail. Thanks for the great work!
These productions are amazing. Keep up the great work
This is very well done. Answered lots of questions for me. You clearly put a lot of work into this. Thank you.
Unbelievable! This kind of reporting is what I've been missing from all the other channels all along. A ton of questions never answered were answered here! Thank you
You all work so good together. Keep up the great work! I for sure will be watching, there is so much great info.
Love it! Deep dives keep me coming back. Nice job.
Absolutely amazing work. This is exactly the info I have been wanting all along. Thank you so much for doing this!
Thanks Zach! Can’t wait to see more!
"Ships are designed in metric units but all infrastructure is imperial" I hope it won't end in same way one of NASA's Mars satellites ended(loss of mission due to issue in converting the units).
Excellent analysis. Absolutely engrossing and informative videos. Great work and super presentation.
Thank you very much for this great episode! It keeps getting better & better, from a very high level imo. Don't look at the length of the video, just keep this great content! And many thanks to the whole CSI-Starbase Team!
Good video! Also nice to get some faces to the voices from the streams :)
This was such a pleasure to watch. It's crazy how you're able to put all these pieces together
Love the parody framing of these deep dives. Keeps it from being too dry. And it's nice to have a fresh viewpoint, especially with the speculation on what's next for Starship. The tech information is spot on ^^
Fantastic update as usual, thanks Zack!
oh man, you're improving soo fast. great research, great thinking and speculating - and now revving up the production! I do like your style a lot. thanks, keep goin'! btw, nice to see Maria around. (always enjoyed her way of looking at things. miss her videos here) and thx for your contributions at RGV
entertaining and informative, not somethings you find together. Great work!
GREAT FREAKING WORK on the stabilizer pins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good video, Zack. Thanks for not using clickbait this time. Earn your views by providing good content. Keep it up!
haha
Holy shit, documentary length! I haven't watched yet, but your videos have been fantastic since day 1, and the quality improves every time. I LOVE watching documentaries, so I'm gonna throw this on the TV and lay down while I watch it here in a bit. Excited to do so.
another episode of fun, good info and explanation how some parts work, looking forward to the next one allready!!
Sweet Foley pulling the phone out of the bag in the beginning, nice attention to detail.
Utterly brilliant -- the best use of time (when I should be working) I can think of in a long time -- many thanks!
Incredible detail. I usually ignore long videos but yours are different. Why with amount of effort put into these videos you have only 4.3k subs is a mystery to me. You got mine, and you deserve more.
I can’t believe I’ve missed these videos! These are by far some of the most entertaining and interesting explanations of starbase on the internet!!!
Thank you!!!
Great Sleuthing!
This is the space/engineering nerd content I absolutely love. Thanks for the great work!
wow, thats the channel i´m searching for al long time. Please dont stop making videos ever haha
Thank you! Lots more to come, for sure.
Nice how this was released just before booster rollout and setup to be lifted by the chipsticks! Love the detail on the OLM parts. I envy those at Boca with close access, it is a long squint across the river to KSC.
Lol I pushed the button the moment the SPMTs started rolling the booster out. I kinda had that planned since last Friday.
Very good. Always look forward to these episodes. Thanks Zach
Fantastic work team.
Keep up your amazing work, Zach and co.
🦄✨️
43 min episode?! Whoa thanks
This video is amazing, great coverage.
A very impressive ammount of work rounding up all the visuals.. thanks
Lol that’s the first I’ve heard someone mention that. That part takes a very long time. I’ve been saving footage for about a year and a half now.
I love this Program. I hope it catches on. 🚀🚀
A picture is worth a thousand words...thanks for sharing both!
Lmaooo I can’t tell if this is a compliment or not.
@@CSIStarbase Compliment! More data, more data, more data, more data. Less speculation.
this was awesome deep dive in to the booster mount. love it.
fantastic detailed coverage 🤩
It was nice to see Maria's smiling face. Great video!!!
Wow…Wow…Wow!!! Such a beautiful report. The detail is exquisite and so professional. Please, please keep ‘em coming. I know I‘m late on seeing this one due to circumstances, but I will see/hear all of them as soon as I can.
14:00 - Yep, I knew it, they done did it. They used the Chopsticks 🚀🚀
you're becoming my fav channel, thanks for the great video !
THIS MADE MY DAY.
Great coverage! I love the theatrics!
SOME GREAT INFO, THANK YOU ! on a plate in a different way, comes to mind, BIG LIKE !
just stellar (pun intended) content right here, unrivaled.
Ecxellent info! *Especially the launch mount deep dive!
Thanx 4 the good production and all .
I’m really enjoying your format Zack, keep up the deep dives. Love to share a cocktail with you in CSI Hq sometime. 😉
the deep dives are the way to go... lots of details maybe a time lapse start to finish (tank farm, tower, etc.) good job
I'm only 3 minutes in and am laughing my pants off. you've got so much usp you need some roll-on anti-usp to give the other guys a chance. (go team space!)
Amazing content. Just unbelievable.
Awesome deep dive on Stage 0!
My frist time here. This deserves much more likes. Great coverage, thank you!
Loved it, thanks for the excellent work!
As usual. I understand 5 percent of whats going on 😂 but phenomenal job. You guys are goofballs too which makes it even better
Oh man, this was brilliant in every sense of the word. Insta-liked, subbed and that bell is on!
Ton's of Information, Thanks GB !
Wonderful analysis and presentation !! Thanks
All the good stuff for a detail obsessed freak like me...thank you!!
Masterful Zak . . . and entertaining as a bonus. Thank you very much.
I was looking for something to watch and found this old deep dive. Even thought it's January 2024 and some information is outdated, there was still a lot of really awesome information, especially about how the first orbital launch mount was made. Even now, we still haven't seen a second launch mount.
Great job Zack and the CSI Starbase team!
Awesome deep dive !
We need one of this but from separation system in the interstage 😮💨👌 I enjoy every minute of the video
Just discovered you on Twitter and figured I'd sub here too. 100% the most in depth/up to date source of Starbase info.
Thank you!!!! I really appreciate that.
@@CSIStarbase of course man, I hope the content stealers get caught!
Incredible!
Love love love love this investigation and all the work that you are doing. I love detail and this is precisely what I wanted to watch. I lack the technical expertise but your explanations are fantastic. Thank you thank you for making these videos!!
This was effin' great - keep it up!!!
This is so good 😄😄😄
Well done. Very interesting and detailed content!
Great content yet again! Cheers!
Great stuff, as always.
Just found your channel today, and i binged your videos, they are really really good.
Thank you!! Means a lot that people are willing to go back and watch the past episodes like that!
Very good video Zack! Excellent info.
btw i just realized how obsessed you really are. awesome attention to detail!
Love the long video format!
LmAo the first thing I saw on this notification was your screen name! I was like wait, I haven’t begged for likes! Lol thank you for the feedback
If this is the video where you suggested that SpaceX should cover the outside area of the top of the launch mount where all the wiring is located, you nailed it! Their unplanned explosion toasted the OLM pretty well and a lot of stuff located there is probably crisply fried. Maybe its time to resurrect that portion of the video and say “I told you so!”
Wow! Nice work!
Excellent. Very good coverage
I really like how many details you give. I love it!
I just found this channel holy moly YALL ARE INSANE I LOVE IT SO MUCHHHHHH AWESOME CHANNEL HAHAHAH
More please!
Great stuff. Thanks!
This is awesome!
"And he does it without breathing!" hahaha
Amazing. I had some idea that they were reworking the launch mount but this is remarkably detailed and specific.
Awesome channel.
I noticed some of the cameras you mentioned are mounted in explosion proof protective enclosures. Cameras that will be exposed to high temp will have the front lens made from Germanium. I work in an industry that uses these types of camera enclosures. If you have any questions about the cameras, their enclosures or light sources feel free to reach out to me. I enjoy the level of details in these deep dive videos. Keep up the great work.
