- I clarify some of my stances that I stated in my previous video on Alex Dacy AKA Wheelchair Rapunzel and add some context to her "apology" (or non-apology) to the Black community.
I unfollowed Alex because I felt so conflicted about supporting her even tho i try to make it a priority to support disabled creators bc its a safe job that gives a lot of people opportunities they would ordinarily have. I enjoyed your take on this because i wanted to here more opinions from other disabled people rather random ppl in Alex's comments lol we love a good level headed take in the daily mess of chronically online people 😂
I don't hate her. There is a group of influencers who don't seem interested in public accountability or growth. Don't know Alex or her beliefs. It is important to normalize Disabled dreams & experiences. Cruises are not aways expensive for example. But the idea that Disabled people dont have to fight for resourses/ equipment is Disingenuous
Policing other people's use of disabled bathrooms is ableist. I don't know Wheelchair Rapunzel, but I'd expect any disabled person to know better.

Instead of commenting and passing your judgement on other creators content, which is not very interesting, why put your efforts into creating good, positive, creative of your own? 🤷

If creators don't get called out then they get away with shit, and we should know about who we are following as by following them you are helping them earn money.
That is the same as saying that a politician or famous person shouldn't be called out.
If someone is talking about disability discrimination then their content isn't all sunshine and roses and you would know that if you actually followed Erica.
