Bar Stool Sports podcasts are a staple at colleges and among young men. But are they good? I dug a bit deeper and found some really concerning content. The media we consume matters, especially when it normalizes toxic masculinity and misogyny.

What is toxic masculinity? Asking as a male.

Toxic masculinity is when you have people telling guys to man up, not to express their emotions, that they should only like/do traditional male jobs/hobbies/interests. Think of the stereotype of a 50's dad and that about sums it up (that and the messages that the conservative Christian section are giving about gender roles etc).
