Selma Blair and Bigotry in the Disabled Community

Selma Blair recently caught heat for her comments regarding Rashida Tlaib that were Islamophobic. In this video, I discuss how her bigotry affects the disabled community. Being a disability advocate should not shield a person from consequences of their harmful behavior towards another marginalized group.

Great video as always. Hearing your thoughts about anything is a treat
I think another problem is when religions are twisted and weaponized to serve man made interests. It happens with almost all religions and people are quick to identify it on the other but never in theirs.
And it's very hard as some abusive narratives or rules are "justified" as being religion but at the same time you are from another culture so it's also hard making sure you are not being biased and overstepping
But again even when for example we see misogyny in another religion a lot of times we fail to identify it in our own culture
