In this video I show you how to charge your electric car aka EV at a ChargePoint public charging station. These charging stations are getting very popular and it's a great way to charge your vehicle while you shop or go to the gym. Own a 2008 e65. After switching the vehicle off the navigation Dvd remains on in the trunk. Is this normal as I have been having problems with the battery running down after 2 weeks or so as I do not use the vehicle daily. Thanks

Yea you can, I tried AP on a ChargePoint machine at a mall near me and it went thru. I don't know if he activated AP though...
@@coshiro1 You are right! You can user your Apple Wallet CreditCard, or you add the virtual ChargePoint card into your wallet :)

Good to hear that they are for free. We from ChargePoint are not setting up the pricing fees, it's all up to the actual station owner.

I am really like EV GO .... much better the only thing you need is your debit card or credit card .👍
When you tap your EvGo card, does it show the price and then let you confirm to start (eg, can you cancel and not start the charge?) or is it too late once you scan your card to the charge reader?
Andrew Le I like the idea of using just a regular card of your bank ...not using different things for different chargers
Ok, so my question is... if you use your bank card to enable the charge, and then you see the price after you enable it, can you cancel if you see the price is too high?

Most people don't charge like this. I just charge at home... takes me 5 seconds to plug in. I am paying basicially $0.75 a gallon equivalent for electricity and save about $100 a month in gas. Gas is a ripoff.
You pay 4x the amount for gas vs electricity. You pay more in maintenance than we do. We charge at home or running errands.. so no time is lost honestly.
When you charge this way toots; you have to plan your journey. EV driving is a lot more fun, less dirty and more environmentally friendly than Petro. I've got a rivian on order.
