I know that you don’t really have a ton of space left in orchid bay, but I think we’d all love to see another metropolitan center! If it won’t work, I understand but it would be sick if it does!!
Orchid Bay Monday is a lovely, peaceful diversion in a busy world. I always look forward to your vids and your chilled, creative style. :) (And I agree with you that the footbridges over the river are a little too high lol!)
Thank you for showing how satisfying building smaller communities can be. I could watch a whole series of just your small town builds with unique styles and folklore.
Just throwing out a wild idea. Eventually down the road when cities 2 has been out for a hot minute, and it's more fleshed out. I would honestly love to see you do a revisit to the older series you've done by using the same styles you've gone for in some of those series, but to the cities 2 degree. Also just wanted to leave a comment to show support for this series. Definitely still my favorite series to watch.
I'm very happy that not everyone has abandoned CS1. I have no interest in CS2, at least not right now. On the plus side, since so many people have become exclusively CS2, I have a lot more free time since there's fewer videos for me to watch.
I love these types of episodes, the quick one and done projects. The detailing is amazing when coming from CS2. I'm always blown away by the detailing timelapses, my favorite part of these episodes. I can only imagine what CS2 will look like in a few years once they add in the detailing. But until then you continue to give us amazing CS1 builds.
Thank you Egg for continuing Orchid Bay! I like these small rural town builds, you should put more especially in these far flung areas of the map. Though, for these towns I think it will really be good to have a small regional commuter train station going to the main city, at least to Two Church rather than to the Downtown, if there is no longer space there.
Yay!!! Orchid bay!!! As much as i like the CS2 builds, it's nice to see a sprinkle of CS1, esp with the amazing builds you do Egg😊. It also nice to see activity within park assets! That's has been very disappointing in CS2
One of my favorite builds in this city, the look and feel reminds me of a town my grandmother lives in. I enjoy the CS2 content but something about this city sits inside my heart, I'll be sad when it comes to an end.
Well, he already started a series. But for a really interesting one I guess we'll have to wait for more building and detailing options, CS2 is a bit underwhelming for me. But it'll get there. Can you imagine Egg making a video with only the CS1 base game 8 years ago? If there is such a thing, I'd like to see it :D
You know before I got city skylines game on console, I watched you build your city &this made up my mind to get the game on Xbox one. I've gotten all the DLC' s &used what I gleaned from you for inspiration & started my own city. just to let you know I think I'm the oldest gamer on here @ 72 years old. Glad you back here I'd love to support the channel but I'm bare supporting myself. 😀
amazed how well the river fits in after all the detailing- love ❤this series - seriously not ready to move on from CS1 yet! I'm still waiting to get my new system to get CS2- been super busy, but at the same time, I'm not in a big hurry- I'll give them time to get things sorted a bit first.
the Old Inn reminds me of those historic lodges you see in special mountain spots throughout the Sierras and up into Washington and Oregon. They generally all have the same vibe with a bunch of motocycles parked out front where a club as stopped on their ride; When you walk in there is this kind of darkened ambiance, with a seating area with tired hikes and rock climbers sitting on old tufted leather sofas, with a fire in the winter; the dining room and terrace famous for their fried chicken, fresh caught trout dinners, blackberry pie a la mode; and at night the the bar is hopping with Pasty Kline on the jukebox.
CS1 builds still has some merit as it has all the ploppable decorations and workshop assets. keep up the awesome designs and providing inspiration and ideas.
If Overcharged egg see this, the Balloon tour might me a nice asset for this area. Also might want a Cemetery around this town and might connect another Bridge across the river for emergency reasons. And a post office
Love this town! There's just one thing nagging me though and it's the big bulkiness of the cave asset that never got blended in quite right so it looks great from the front but the sides and back still are sticking out to me anyway
Oh don't worry about that lol, we've hit it maybe 10 times already lol, I just keep balancing them across the map. Maybe one day we'll need Tree Control but we'll see
We need a Lake District-like name for a waterfall, like a "Force", like Skelwith Force, or Colwith Force. The water coming out of Ash Lake could be named "Ash Force" which sounds powerful, right? Denephew Force? 🤔
I'm glad that the cave is in Denephew, because Denise cave would sound awckward
This series always brings a smile to my face :) So happy that you didn't abandon it when CS2 dropped. Thanks Egg!
I know that you don’t really have a ton of space left in orchid bay, but I think we’d all love to see another metropolitan center! If it won’t work, I understand but it would be sick if it does!!
There's unassigned space on the coast!
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG absolutely perfect!

Thanks for continuing with Orchid Bay. I'm back to playing CS1 for now and I love the inspiration!

FINALLY some CS1 content. I am so happy thank you
Thanks for supporting it 🙂

I really love how far out and tucked away the town feels from the rest of Orchid Bay, really gives the rural middle-of-nowhere vibes
Big vibes for the smaller communities surrounding Denver. Love this build!
My fav series :) perfect to watch just before going to bed 😂 thanks again Egg! Love to watch this series. Are you going to do a similar series in CS2?
I love the old inn btw. Great view from the deck 😎😎
He has to 😅 and i guess there will be no way around
Well, he already started a series. But for a really interesting one I guess we'll have to wait for more building and detailing options, CS2 is a bit underwhelming for me. But it'll get there.

As always a wholesome build, the last overview of the whole city from Denephew is stunning

A beautiful rural lake town. I love it. Thank you so much for continuing to give us top tier CS1 content. ❤
Absolutely lovely small town 😍 Sort of reminds me of the area I live in. I love small town builds so much and you are so good at them! 🤩
You had me at Denephew😂😂😂
Very cool... I feel like the open valley next to Ash lake could use a old school cattle ranch. with some more dense forrest arround it.
Another nice build ,keep theses builds coming I enjoy the Monday morning build gives me a buzz every time.

great island! Love the use of the boulder-climbing parks.
My days always get infinitely better when I see a new Egg video’s been posted 😁 congrats on 90k, you more than deserve it!!
Thank you Lucas 🙏
I know how this feels! Literally see his new content and im like yaaaay
I love this so much! What a great rural town and nature reserve. A dream come true!

Great series. Looking forward to MORE CS1 content from you.
I really enjoyed watching this small village build! Love the way you think man. Gg
All hail the king....I miss cs1 content
🙏❤️
what an episode, really like when egg building like natural stuff, hope to see more like this in cities skylines II !!
That skyrim music ❤❤❤
Bring over a bike lane to the next town over! We have that a lot here and kids just bike to school from town to town
So so happy I love this series so much. 💗
Very happy that I've helped contribute to the naming of a little village in Orchid Bay!
Love this town! There's just one thing nagging me though and it's the big bulkiness of the cave asset that never got blended in quite right so it looks great from the front but the sides and back still are sticking out to me anyway
This was a great build to watch!
Thank you we miss City skylines1 😂😂😂😂😂🎉
Every time you build an asset on a bunch of trees, my heart skips a beat worrying about Orchid Bays tree count
Oh don't worry about that lol, we've hit it maybe 10 times already lol, I just keep balancing them across the map. Maybe one day we'll need Tree Control but we'll see
Beautiful build, Egg! Detailing is sorely missed with CS2.
You should set up a tourist route that goes to the Nature Reserve 😊
Keep up the great work been following you since 2021❤
I appreciate it! ❤️
you thank us to keep watching CS1 content but we must thank you to keep making it
Really missed Orchid Bay!
Orchid bay misses you too!
Always enjoy your content Egg!
Glad you enjoy it!
Considering the location and your starting music it should be called Riverwood...
How about some rocks in the river coming from the lake to simulate a waterfall/rapid?
Is there an estate agents in Denephew as I want to move in!
I think so!
my beloves orchid bay is back :)

That would be cool!
Thanks you !😃👍
Never have to apologize for fighter jets
Does anyone ever actually leave you a dislike? 😂 I would not be able to find anything to dislike about your videos!
super cute!!!!!
will you still do CS1 content from time to time, other than Orchid Bay?
Otherwise than orchid bay and Thessia, no 😊
I think Cities Skylines 2 really needs another dlc or 2 before it can actually start replacing the content rich first game
Denephew sounded more like the nephew
CS1>CS2
Egg call the new town The Eye' That island in the middle looks like an eye
Keep up Cities 1 please ... can't run 2 on my "old" laptop .. 😪
🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
CS2 is so bad folks are already going back to CS1...
...a mining village...???
well CS1 has flair but CS2 is good
