The Walker is 84mm vs the standard celidor 91mm length of Swisschamp, Huntsman etc. Alox SAKs like the Pioneer, Farmer are 93mm. I don't own a Walker but I have read on some forum that in fact the saw is still a bit bigger than the one on the Leatherman Rebar. I do own a Rebar and can confirm that the saw on that is at least 1/4 in shorter than the saw on 91mm models, and quite a lot skinnier and flimsier. In fact I don't think the saws on more ''premium'' heavy duty Leathermans like the Wave or Signal are any bigger or better than the standard Victorinox saw. I have no doubts as to the capability of the ''small'' saw on the Walker. As you mentioned, the Walker is one of the models which Victorinox have discontinued this year which is a shame. But I'm sure for the time being there are still places with them in stock. They've also discontinued the small 84mm version of the Tinker. Personally and like a lot of other SAK enthusiasts I still think it's a shame they didn't fix or replace the machine to make 84mm scissors too as a lot of people seem to wish they made this size model with scissors, like a Bantam with scissors, a Walker with scissors, and a small Tinker with scissors.
Thanks for the info. I totally agree with everything you said. After actually having used the Walker, I love it. Rather the scissors, I would have loved to see a Walker with an Awl.
@@GlockNinja Yep that would have been great. It's a bit less compact but the Farmer is a great outdoors knife with it's inline awl. It's pretty slim but a fair bit heavier than the Walker I'd guess.
I just stumbled upon one on the online website of a shop and got it. Nice catch. Btw where did you find that small container attached to the other knife and what was it called if I may ask? That's pretty neat for tinder and or small tidbits.
Nice slingshot, but you should practice your whittling skills and shape it so doesn’t look so Neanderthalish 🤣. I noticed that you had at least two of the rubber tubing for slingshots. Did you buy multiples with the intention of making separate kits or just replenish the one?
It came two in a pack. I got two so I can use one for demo snd other to keep in kit. This sling shot I made was to demonstrate a quick and basic way to make a slingshot for survival. I definitely could have spent more time refining the slingshot.
Walker testere ile pvc, plastikleri kestim. Walker harikadır. Video için teşekkürler 🙏
I love that SAK Model, super compact and only the needed tools for outdoor ativities, cheers from Portugal :D
Thank you for comment! I subscribed you.
@@GlockNinja thank you so much, i also did the same, all the best, and keep on the good work, great content 😉🙌🤩
Thank you for this video, I did not know about this Walker model. Subscribed !
Thank you for the sub! I sub to those who sub me when they let me know they subed me. :-)
Victorinox and the swiss are my go-to for multi tools... up there with the leatherman charge tti, cheers on the amazing hardware.
Thank you!
The Walker is the best, even more compact than the compact!
True but compact and walker are both two layers and the compact comes with scissors instead of saw. Both are same thickness but compact is longer.
How interesting.

The silver capsule connected to the knife is not a container. It is a lighter. It is called a Peanut Lighter. Thanks for watching!!!!
@@GlockNinja that's even more awesome! I'll have to look it up thanks!
