- Victorinox have had a cull of their swiss army knife product range. One of the knives going is the Walker. It is offocialy discontinued now. I bought it from Amazon (UK) and here is my review. If you are quick you may be able to get it from several online outlets. If you are too late - I give a few good alternatives if you are keen to have an SAK with a saw.
The Walker is not available on Amazon now. Here are some similar SAKs with a saw.

I am so disappointed! I wish I knew it was due to be discontinued I would have picked up another two! I took my original Walker and customized it with an awl behind the blade and combo tool slapped on some brass scales. I love my Walker I am genuinely saddened. RIP Walker.
It is a shame. There is always the Fieldmaster, farmer and Huntsman….
I'm a bushcrafter & hiker. The Victorinox Walker is at the core of my lightweight fire kit. Together with a Friendly Swede ferrocerium rod, a small bic lighter and wrapped in multiple layers of waxed paper (tinder) it is fairly small and light weight.
The Walker is great isn't it. Yourfire kit sounds really cool - I need to put one of those together myself!

I purchased one last year and it's my favourite light weight EDC carry whether I'm at work or canoeing.

Thanks. It’s a shame they have discontinued it. It was really good value for money too. It’s interesting that the My First Victorinox SAK has a similar toolset with a rounded knife and costs and is nearly twice the price!
My absolute favorite is the Farmer X. It´s a Farmer with scissors. That cover all i anticipate to tackle on a daily basis. If i expect tinkering i take my little toolkit that is based around a very small ratchet and a Knipex Cobra XS.
The farmer x looks really good. I have the Pioneer x which is a good urban carry. I am working on a mini toolkit and I already have the topeak ratchet and knipex XS cobra.
I love the Farmer X. Too bad it is missing the tweezers.
@@alexandergutfeldt1144 Since it is an Alox model it can´t have the tweezers. Just another reason to pack a Mini Champ!
@@RiderOftheNorth1968 I have a classic SD in my mini med kit. The bigger one holds a Leatherman Style CS.
I've considered swapping in a Victorinox Huntsman for the farmer, but I prefer the grippiness of the alox scales!
I agree about the alox SAKs... they feel better in the hand, are generally quite thinner than the cellidor equivalent. - which together makes up for the lack of scale tools. With one exception..... I love my tiny Midnite Manager and rarely go anywhere without it ( except if flying of course!!!) - but then it doesn't have the toothpick or tweezers anyway 🤣
Your videos are costing me money 😅 i wanted to get the compact next but the stock of this is running out fast.
At least it's one of the cheaper ones. UK Amazon is out of stock already.
I tried to used the Walker for some month, but it's not worth to buy one, in my opinion. The saw is to short for good sawing and it bends easy sideways. During whittling, the combi tool makes pressure points in the fingers.
If you search a short Vic pocket knife, without pressure points by whittling, so try out the Recruit model.
I have the Huntsman - which has a slightly larger saw and the separate tools

@@MB_EDC Tiktok doesn't transfer to UA-cam very well, it's more of a separate audience. Instagram does though, not sure why.
