- This install shows you how to add the proximity entry feature to your Jeep Wrangler or Jeep Gladiator. Combine this kit with the Tazer JL for a dealer less install.

Earned my sub, super helpful as I just got this kit for my gladiator, thanks
Thanks for the sub!
Nice work, I think I'll be doing this myself. Jeep America first!
Nice
That’s one of my favorite features on my JL. It’s nice not having to mess with the FOB. 💯🇺🇸
#noragrets not a single letter
Great vid. Thanks. Gunna do my 2001 JL.
I hope this is a typo 😂
Great video...
Thank you.
@@ExfilOffRoad just installed mine and followed your video thanks again...
Awesome!! Glad to help.
Hi, I like your content. Do you accept sponsored products?
Nice video! Will be doing the same myself. Question though.. why can’t you just leave the window up to begin with vs rolling it down just to manually put it up?
Because you can’t unbolt it unless it’s down.
Right but why do you have to unbolt it to begin with.. you are literally unbolting it just to manually roll it up.. why not leave it up to begin with?
Because the bolt is not accessible until you roll it
@@ExfilOffRoad he’s not getting it. He will if he ever dose the install.
I seen mention somewhere you need to have factory remote start already for this to work. Is that true? Because I hope not.
I do not know, I would research or ask more people on the jeepgladiator or jeep wrangler forum. I can say I have factory remote start in my vehicles.
Do you need to keep the Tazer connected afterwards?
Mine stays connected. I do not believe you need to keep it connected but you should check with the tazer user manual.
Hey there! Great video, I did exactly what you said, but for some reason the proximity doors still aren’t working. Should I try redoing it again through the tazer menu?
Did you reboot the system after making the change on the tazer menu ?
@@ExfilOffRoad Yep! I didn’t try unmarrying and remarrying though. Could it take some time for the computer and the tazer to mate with each other, or should it always be instant like yours?
I don’t think that would be necessary. I haven’t heard of anyone having this issue. Did you ensure the connections were all made? Maybe try turning the feature off rebooting and turning it back on and rebooting.
Where is the key at when your doing this?
@@ExfilOffRoad I tried that as well. The key is inside the car while I reboot, and then when I tried the doors it was in my hand outside the vehicle. I will go through and check all of the connections, hopefully something is just not connected
Would you be willing to work on my jeep ? Gladiator 2022. Same me installation as yours. Not bold enough to mess with the wiring myself :(
Drop me a dm on Instagram. @exfiloffroad
wow. seems like a very complicated procedure. I've been asking dealerships to see if they can install them for me, but none has said they could. I'm guessing this is why.
It’s not too bad. I’d say do it yourself and you’ll be happy or find a local gear head to do it for you. I’m always willing to work on Jeeps
@@ExfilOffRoad thanks
Will this work for a 2022 model?
Sure will.
What power screwdriver is that lol

I did the same with my Willy's and it didn't work 😢
That’s a first. I’m sure that it will. Did you double check to make sure that the passive entry setting change stayed on ?
No thanks
