Thank you for saving me 4 gallons of diesel. I had my battery replaced by the dealer, when i got home, i noticed that I'd lost my camera, DAB and other settings. The dealer told me to go back to them and they'd sort the Tazer out. Your very clear video, enabled me to reset and reboot. Thanks from wet England.
@@JeepingForBeginnersnow I'm watching this again so that I can change a setting. It's so bloody complicated. I sit in my Jeep with my tablet and follow your instructions. Tazer should provide a link to you! Thanks
I noticed the temp sensor was reading very high. My JT did the same until i cleared some codes and restarted it the next day. Not sure what that’s all about. But I do like the Tazer device
You don't press the left arrow button and the other buttons simultaneously (well, you do, but not a single, quick press). The correct procedure is to press and HOLD the left arrow button, then select & press the dedire right-side (cruise-control) button, as necessary. Also, MEASURE YOUR TIRES! 😅 Don't just guestimate the size (as done in the video).🫤 Either measure the actual, over-all diameter- from ground to the top of the tire (while sitting on level ground). OR (more accurate): Measure from ground to the center of the hub (use a level at the hub center), then double that measurement to arrive at the actual rolling diameter. Lastly, READ the instructions thoroughly before (and while) doing the procedure.
Will it really change my shift points on my JL392 I have 38s on it and it’s super smooth and nice the way it runs right now. Will the tazer affect the smoothness ? And id I don’t calibrate it for the tire size will it damage the trans or transfer case ?
I really like to try the live functions like super tight turns etc, but me who don't off road much find this too expensive. A jscan setup can be had for $60, can you do a video on jscan as well, its not as straight forward but saves a lot of money and imo, the interface is more intuitive.
that's a No on having to press a button to unlock the doors on a JLUR. I walk up and place my hand into the curved part of handle without touching it and it unlocks. there is probably a heat sensor on the two front and rear tailgate doors.
What does the module on the jeep that you unplug the wires from do and why is it ok to leave the wires unplugged from it and just plugged into the Tazer?
The panel just pulls right off, geld on by clips. And I did not need the extension cable, once you pull those cables out, they stretch a bit. And why have more cables to tuck up and away?
"Sleep Cycle" refers to the on board computers "sleeping" or basically inactivity for a period of time. most common understanding of a sleep cycle with a FCA computer is usually more then 5 minutes with the vehicle off. Does not need to be rebooted, just when you turn the vehicle back on, it wakes back up to do its job.
ZAuto makes a ton of great videos, here's one on the reboot & 2 sleep cycles you'll always hear about. This is only needed for changes made outside of "Live Settings" which are the settings only available when the vehicle is on. I highly recommend one of these, there are a lot of useful features. ua-cam.com/video/39KwfYD39Nk/v-deo.html

Awesome video. You’re a good sales man, I just order mine …Now I need to save some money to get the jeep lol
Thanks for sharing.

Now I want to get a jeep. Thanks. Where should I send the invoice for it 😂

those cables controls your Infotainment screen - adding the Tazer just adds these additional options but also makes that screen active again
how did you get the driver knee panel off & is the SGW Extension Cable worth it?
The panel just pulls right off, geld on by clips. And I did not need the extension cable, once you pull those cables out, they stretch a bit. And why have more cables to tuck up and away?
Will this affect the warranty?
No. I have not seen one with a tazer have a rejected warranty claim yet....
I turned the panic button off. I set off my alarm every time I bend or twist.
good video very informative. but I feel there are a lot of better more user friendly options out there for people I wouldn't steer clear of this unit.
That’s where you’re wrong. There are no better options.
What do mean by 'sleep cycles" ??? Do you mean to say "Reboot"??? or is there something else not documented....

So do you actually start the vehicle or just put it into run mode, then turn it off?
you really should read the manual before doing a video... you skipped over some nice features and you didn't even know what they were. terrible video!
