Chuck most definitely your good enough to get rabbits at 50 yards the way you shoot. I don't see anybody getting the small groups you get with the wind you shoot in at all bud.
Chuck, Wow! You are a great shot in that wind, with Crosman h.p. pellets, ... Beautiful HW-50S you have there, Your right about getting stocked up on pellets, and scopes, and more, (I did just that the other day). I still have a long way to go yet at stocking up, Your right about these air rifles being a quiet SURVIVAL rifle. ( many reasons why.) Prices are now going up on Weihrauch air rifles, They are almost out of reach for most of us at that price point.. The curse of the winds blowing won't stop us from having our country boy/ girl outings with our Spring piston air rifles. The blessings keep coming, Our God is Great!
Great Schooting and nice Rifle. I also own two HW50 and they're real allrounders and typically for weihrauch very precise. I also own an 97k (superb laserlike gun), an 30s (perfect precise gardenplinker) and actual two 35s. I love the 35 the most, because it is build like a tank, extreme precise and is built since 1951. A real classic and the father of the HW80
I thoroughly enjoy shooting my HW80 with the open sights , it's surprising how accurate you can be if you concentrate , though at the moment I've stripped the sights off too accommodate my new scope .

Greetings from Buenos Aires. Frankly speaking, I have 6 (six) air rifles. 4 of them in 4.5 and 2 in 5.5. Now, I´m using Match pellets (AIR BOSS Match Competition) and domed (AIR BOSS Field Target; JSB Exact) up to 20 meters. Never tried hollow point because my guessing is these pellets have worse BC. Do you think it´s worth the try ... ? Please your comments.
@@danielsalvia6689 Hi Daniel,🤠👍 good to hear from you. The Crosman Premiere Hollow Point is mostly domed with a small hollow point or depression. I think all pellets are worth a try, especially the cheap ones, lol.

@@philshort5165 I'm so sorry😞for what you are going through with your wife and I will be praying for you and her.🙏 Now I will let you know a little about me. I'm very far from being rich, I'm what you would call barely making it by. I have a wife who stays at home and teaches my boy, and she makes very little money doing some online teaching. So, I am the sole provider for my family in this very expensive world. Several years ago me and my wife got covid, and she got it the worst. She ended up with heart problems. Now we have to pay a lot of money for heart medication to keep my wife alive. So I know what it is to struggle financially. I have a few nice rifles but I saved up for them over a long period of time. Also, my Mother gifted me some money for my birthday and Christmas, that's how I got some of my HW rifles. My HW80 was my first Weihrauch that I was able to get because I won a shooting competition through Pyramid Air. I would suggest that you get a Crosman Optimist 22 caliber break barrel.
