    Interesting video, I am fairly new to air rifles, and scopes are one of the most confusing things to understand, so many different price points, I have paid 300-$400 for a few and $100-$200 for several, and I honestly can’t tell any major differences between them, I am learning slowly and have learned the hard way, and paid fair money for junk, part of the learning process. Enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing.

    The 125 is a beast indeed. I have one in .22 and contemplating (craving) getting one in .25, however I have a older Beeman Kodiak in .25 which basically is the same thing with expensive furniture attached. I'm also trying to justify the need of a 125 in .25 simply because a heavy .22 will penetrate better and shoot flatter. The addiction is real!

    First of all, real world shooting and testing. I could Not ask for more. Second, you're a good shot. You choose good airguns and you choose solid scopes. You use rests to the best advantage which everyone should. In culling situations, I also try to duplicate my testing rests as best I can. Oh, I almost forgot. In a previous video you said the HW95L what your "go-to" rifle. Do you think the HW50S has the potential to unseat it?

    • @springpistonriflefeverlone9611
      @springpistonriflefeverlone9611 6 днів тому

      @@brandterickson8175 Hi 👋 Brandt. Thank you for checking out my video.🤠👍 I have to say that the HW95 is still my go-to break barrel air rifle. The HW50s in 22 caliber is great, but it would possibly be a better option in 177 for a flatter trajectory. I'm also planning on cutting a coil or 2 off the mainspring for smoother performance.🎯 With heavier pellets it shoots great but with lighter 14.3 or 14.66 pellets, not so smooth and my groups are not as tight because of the more harsh recoil. I hope that helps you.🤠👍

    • @brandterickson8175
      @brandterickson8175 5 днів тому

      @@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 That does help, thanks. I'm interested in getting a springer and have been going back and forth between the HW95L in .22 and the HW50S in .177. I'm assuming the spring in the HW50S is the same regardless of caliber, so it sounds like, based on what you're saying, it would take some tuning with the lighter .177 pellets.

    With a 12ft/lb airrifle it makes more sense to use .177 higher velocity and flatter trajctory .
