It's not jealousy. Jimmy just feels left out. That happens cause he feels like he is loosing his friends. It makes sense, couples date... dating requires there only being 2 people. Jimmy doesn't want to be a third wheel, but he doesn't want to lose his friends. It's a tough decision to either let them go or stop them. Cause he would lose either way. So this is just him realizing that, and it hurts.

This show does such an awesome job in terms of putting the trio together and making thr audience feel like they're actually friends. In so many adaptations Jimmy is an after thought. I feel like a lot of people who don't follow comics closely only know Jimmy from older shows and movies.

Jimmy is just jealous that they're together and leaving him out of the friend dynamic as a result, romantic entanglements tend to make or break the friendships around you because when you get a partner, the friendship hiearchy tends to shift and suddenly your best friend has no more time for you with their new lover. So its completely understandable in this scenario Jimmy feels left out and jealous, because Lois and Clark left him behind to spend time together.
