You know, this always reminds me of what bravery truly is. As many who are smarter than me have said in many different ways: Bravery isn't a lack of fear, it's doing the right thing even though you are afraid. Superman is a symbol of hope and bravery. It is what makes superheroes great, and its something I feel was lost during these last decades. But, this series makes me remember why I love superheroes.

Honestly, that is pathetic. How he tries so hard to make Luz feel pity for him only to be given the silent treatment goes to show that he only has himself to blame. I'm surprised Luz let him die like that and stand by as the others trampled the mud that was Belos. Like I mean I know he's bad, I'm just not used to a hero doing that. Despite wiping out a people and the hero potentially stemming from these people, they offer a hand or refuse to take a life in the end anyway and the villain dies through some reason like refusing to take the heroes hand, attacking the hero once more despite already having lost and dying to something in the environment, the hero avoiding taking a life by maybe taking the villain's power away or through some other way. So it was interesting to watch the hero character look down on the villain with hate and nothing else

Everyone says that there are two personas: Clark Kent the Journalist and Kal-El the Superman. But, in reality, there are actually three: Clark Kent the Awkward Journalist, Kal-El the Amazing Superman, and... Clark Kent the Kind-Hearted and Humble Farm Boy from Kansas. The latter is who Clark really is at his core. Because without there being Johnathan and Martha Kent around to lovingly raise their adopted son into the kind and humble Farm Boy that he is, the Journalist would not be humble enough to keep up the facade and the Superman would not be kind enough to be the absolute paragon of heroism that he is known as.
