Hi everyone! Thanks for watching. Be sure to check out the video description for more info! As of upload, I have a small amount of these scrubs left in the shop! moriversoap.com
@moriversoap Hi there! Can you share which preservative works best for whipped soap? I can't seem to find much info on which one to use or how much per batch =)
Those containers are also great for storing embeds, dried ingredients and such. They can be easily sanitized and easily labeled and stacked. I have OCD, and having stackable containers that are all the same size makes things looks so much nicer and tidy. Much more appealing.
Holly, this is wonderful! I just love these new scrubs, and the piping with alternating colors is just gorgeous! This is something quite esthetically pleasing to women. I can see where it would be a popular bath and body product.
I recently made a emulsified sugar scrub with a fragrance Wholesale Supply Plus was kind enough to gift me. Thank you so much for sharing your process!
Thos was so satisfying to watch! Soothing, and it's always nice to feel like we're visiting in your videos my find. Good to see you and hear your voice. 🥰
Hi Holly, I got 2 of you sugar scrubs, the figgy cream and strawberries and champagne and they are wonderful on the skin but I love the figgy cream scent the best lol. I was wondering wondering, when you make your square inbeds in your soaps, do you let them go through gel phase or no? Thank you 😊.
Thanks so much! Figgy is just the best ever! 💜 I do usually gel those square embeds because they are part of a bigger loaf. When I do small ones like the succulents and such, they usually don't gel because they just won't generate enough heat.
@@moriversoap It's very odd, it happens quite a bit. We're not sure why. We thought it could be because of the change in temperature, in the warehouse or in our homes - but Montana is much colder than the UK, so it can't be the winter months causing the issue x
Hi Holly, I'm going to make 4 different scented scrubs, now, can I mix everything but the scents in and then measure out my scrubs into 8 ounces, because that's what I'm making is 8 ounce jars, so can I measure out the fragrances like that? Of course I will measure for 8 ounces, would that be ok?
That sounds miserable! I was just walking out to the shop to grab something and was just wearing cropped pants with my boots. It was snowing and the cold was on my legs and I was happy! Haha!
Awesome video Awww Would Be cool if u could share receipe as most people rather not trust just random receipe 😅 hope one day u decide to share ❤ with your viewers
Thank you! I explained why I didn't share the recipe in this particular video. I have added links for you and there is an older video on my channel with a recipe. You just have to make sure you double-check all the usage amounts before using it. There are so many fluctuations with manufacturers and suppliers and I have to check before I make each batch too.
I have the same issue. It adds volume but the sugar is so fine that i cant even tell its in there. I started adding coffee grounds in small amounts to mine to get more of a scrub. I only ever used walmarts brand of sugar. What brands of sugar have you used?
@moriversoap i make the soap base by myself and yes I put glycerine in it so i dont have to add glycerine in scrub right ? But what should i put for hydration ? As some of my friends suggested to put something hydrating in it

Thank you Cindy!
thank you for making a sugar scrub from a ready-made bath and body base, loved it
Thank you for watching. I do quite like using this base. I know a lot of people make their own bases but I'm good with the ready made in this product.
The scrubs look so pretty Holly. Thank you. 😊
Thank you!
I love your sugar scrub soaps! I’ve pretty much used up the one I got a couple months ago. Smells so lovely!

Hey! Well ...I just love the new camera close ups! ThIs just makes me want to make cakes. 😂. Thanks Holly. ❤
Thank you Sarah! I was thinking maybe I need to make a whipped balm of some sort!
Wow. It was satisfying to watch ❤❤❤
I'm so glad! Thank you!
Oh, that’s just the perfect shade of pink! I’ve been thinking about making sugar scrubs to go with my other products x
Thank you! I say go for it!
@@moriversoap 🥰. Thank you. Do you ever find the OPC to feel gritty/grainy? We do, in the UK. Just curious x
@@Sooz3112 That's not something I have noticed. Interesting!

Thank you! They are fun to make for sure!
Hi Holly, how do you keep you batter so fluid when you make your rainbow soaps?
I just use my regular recipe without any significant adjustments. I do add a bit more water sometimes.
Thank you miss holly
Thank you!
Nicely done
Thank you!
So pretty!❤
Thank you!
Hi Holly - Where did you source those huge piping bags?
Hello! I got them on Amazon!
Ran to the shop and ordered lol
Thanks so much Julia!

I would weigh the entire completed batch and then divide it by 4 for each weight before adding in the scents.
Where did you get your piping bags?
I found them on Amazon. Get the extra large ones.
oh wow, the view out your window is like a postcard... Meanwhile here inn Australia we are sweltering in 43 degree heat lol.
That sounds miserable! I was just walking out to the shop to grab something and was just wearing cropped pants with my boots. It was snowing and the cold was on my legs and I was happy! Haha!
You should make a whipped sugar scrub or whipped soap with Bramble Berry's scent Lychee Red tea and Wild Heather and Thyme.
Sounds interesting!
How much soap could we make if I added 100g whipped soap + 100g sugar? I mean what is the perfect jar size for these amounts? Thanks🌸
It really will depend on how much you whip it. It sounds like it would fill an 8 oz jar.
How long dose These last four, and how do you store them? And how much would you sell them for
It really depends on how much one uses. I find that a jar lasts quite a while for me. I think I sold this size for $10-$12 back then.
Do you use optiphen for the preservative?
I do prefer Optiphen until directed otherwise.
What kind of preservative were you using...?
I use Optiphen.
Wow I missed this one. Love these you are so adept at piping. Thanks.
Thank you!

@moriversoap ok thank you dear 😘
❤❤❤
Thank you!
Pls how do you keep the sugar from melting? I did a sugar scrub whipped soap but I noticed the sugar melted into the soap.
That's interesting! I've never had that happen before. Maybe the sugar was too fine?
I have the same issue. It adds volume but the sugar is so fine that i cant even tell its in there. I started adding coffee grounds in small amounts to mine to get more of a scrub. I only ever used walmarts brand of sugar. What brands of sugar have you used?
How much optiphen do you know to use?
I aways double-check usage rates when I am ready to make a batch. They've held pretty steady recently at 0.3-1.5%
I wish I could take a training class in this and Soap...
Classes can be hard to come by for sure.
@@moriversoap
Exactly 😭
Is it ok if i add glycerine as well
I would not. Be sure to check out the manufacturer's directions for whatever base you use.
@moriversoap i make the soap base by myself and yes I put glycerine in it so i dont have to add glycerine in scrub right ? But what should i put for hydration ? As some of my friends suggested to put something hydrating in it
@@minakhan9086 I love using the base but I am not knowledgeable on alternate formulations.
Is this the same recipe that you share before
It is pretty much. I tweak here and there.
