They even look good today. BBS LM always looks good on ALL cars. 😎 P.S. I had them on my S2000 back in the mid '00s. 😋 I can't believe it's been almost 20 years. 😯😭
It's almost like Supras need an 18.5", 19s are too big and 18s are too small lol. Would be awesome if augment wheels made them a supra inspired custom wheel in 19 with black lips to tone it down
Even on stock suspension the rear was 1 inch higher. After i put the wheels on it, the rear 305's fit really good and there was minimal gap between the tire and fender BUT the front still had a huge gap even though the rear was 1 inch higher so i had to drop the front an inch to fill in the gap and give it the drag look. Now the rear is 2 inches higher and looks good ... at least to the older generation, these young-ins today dont understand the staggered drag look, all they know is negative camber.
Works looked the best. And for the record, the 12 point socket trick totally works. Used it on two sets of wheels without the keys myself. Awesome trick.
Flexus wheels I like the most. I'd like to see those 18 in the front and 19 in the rear. The BBS LMs would be next pick as they look so good on their own that you can put them on any car.
For me, it is between the Flexus wheels and the Works wheels. Both look great just two totally different looks so you got to think about what you going to have as a style for the car and what you want it to feel like. I love both of those two options.
So I’ve always loved the look of a dark/deep bronze wheel on a black car. In either a 5 spoke split spoke like the BBS’s. It would give it that early 2000s Le Mans look. And any car based on those early 2000s Le Mans looks amazing.
you just reminded me i have a set of front 4piston calipers for a supra/sc300 in my basement I never used. I would say go with some work wheels 18 front 19 rear.
great video, clean and legit . unlike other channels, using cheap sponsor parts, and copy wheels. you cant go wrong with the BBS LM, but Work CR fits the A80 so well, it will be prefect if they are bronze color on black
18" with tire profile like the LM's. I can't tell if its just the tire profile or too much stretch on the black wheels, or maybe the combo of the two... I don't like the rubberband tire look.
Guys, this is a very good video. I like the style the car is going in and the video was informative and fun to watch. Keep this style up! I do not want to vote because if it were up to me public transport would roll around on BBS LMs.
A tip when removing a locking wheel nut like that is to slightly tighten the other wheel nuts/bolts first to remove a bit of tension on the locker. A reverse tip is to torque the locking nut first before the other nuts so it’s not as tight. Another tip… throw the lock nuts in the bin, it’s only ever a pain the the owner and garages working on the car, thieves come tooled up and know how to remove a locking wheel nut in seconds.
What a transformation, great work as usual guys 👌. The BBS LM are not only period correct but to me at least the most visually pleasant, but as usual I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for it !!
You guys took that Supra from "I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole" to "Shut up and take my money" in two episodes. Can't wait to see what treatment the "non-beater" one gets
The BBS LM's are my favorite, but fitment just isn't right. The Works are the way to go, but the fitment could be a touch more aggressive it looks like that may be partially because of the tires that come on them being a touch undersized on the wheels. So could be resolved with a set of new Continental tires, and or some fairly mild spacers.
I really loved the first ones. To solve maybe rubbing for the front going up another half inch all around and going with a 10mm less width front tire would be perfect on this car.
With the rear droop you actually adjusted it by 20mm. By having the uncaptured rear sprint the measurement goes from the bottom shock housing bracket to the bottom of the spring. To measure the droop perfectly you need to have the spring just captured (or at the min preload specified by the manufacturer) and measure from the shock housing bracket to the bottom of the lower spring perch. If you adjusted the perch until is was just capturing the spring I would say that you lost no droop at all (as in the 60mm from the measurement after the initial adjustment).
Back in the day I had 19" Advan Sienna Generation II's on mine. I think if I had that car today I'd probably run the 18's. They look good and you can probably get a little more tire.
Silver Rays CE28N in 18 X 9.5 +22 and 10.5 +22. That's what I'm looking for for mine to replace meisters. Also the Bilstein shocks were a factory option. Still worth a little bit of money of they are still ok.
So the flexus are actually the remake of the celicasupra wheels my first 1985 supra I bought in 2005 came with these. I actually might buy these for nostalgia
I would black it out and smoke all the lights. Make it quite get a stronger trans and about 550hp and make is a daily sleeper! This car and the r 34 are like the 2 cars that i have always wanted to turn a wrench on even before fast and furious sadly being disabled vet in the states I will not get that chance so I look forward to watching you guys (who I can see respect these cars) work on them!
Hope the ankle heels quickly Pete…I personally like the 19 inch rims on the Supra but the style of the Black 18 inch one you had shown. That car does look nice murdered out.
That front lip is just right. The LMs look better on that supra. Also, would like to see a wrap that just mimics the original black color. For some reason I like my supras black.
Whoa... the Flexus wheels actually kinda work on the Supra...! If you guys are digging this split 4 spoke style and also want 18's, maybe the new Volk Racing NE24 could be good?
The Flexus wheels look nice, but the biggest issue is that they highlight the tiny stock brakes that are on there. A BBK under those wheels would look dope.
I would stick with the BBS LM's imo, but I think for other wheels I'd go for Advan GT's or the Wedsport TC105X. Also, some good classic wheel options would be wheels like CCW Classics or SSR Professor SP3's.
Omg guys, love the BBS rims but gotta say, gotta go with old school design. I would run those just to start a conversation on where da hell do I get a set of my own. Bonus they look sick!!
I'm just gonna say, Advan GTs come in both 18" and 19"
Seconding this^
YES!
+1 to the 18f 19r
Stop this evo ben
Hahaha
The BBS with the right offset in 18" with meatier tires would look PHENOMENAL
I would go with BBS LM's. Everyone wanted BBS back in the day.
On a Supra? YUCK! IMHO of course...
💯
@@diamondback210 if I thought that was cool I would've said so, but since I didn't maybe you're projecting...
BBS LM's look amazing on most of the 90's cars I want to own tbf
They even look good today. BBS LM always looks good on ALL cars. 😎
P.S. I had them on my S2000 back in the mid '00s. 😋 I can't believe it's been almost 20 years. 😯😭
BBS LMs are such a cheat code, they look amazing
Love the look of the BBS wheels on that black Supra. The black on black was too much black.
Agreed! - Taz.
True, but they said they’ll wrap the car a diff colour
I liked the LMs, classic look but I agree that the size was off. The new wheels are just 🔥. You guys are doing such great builds. Keep it up!!
The mk4 supra community is notorious for the absolute WORST wheels. Ill never understand why lol. So glad ur changing em.
It's almost like Supras need an 18.5", 19s are too big and 18s are too small lol.
Would be awesome if augment wheels made them a supra inspired custom wheel in 19 with black lips to tone it down
@@Danielism i always see them with some cheap looking, badly chromed 19s or 20s lmao. They look perfectly fine on 18s with a 40 profile tire.
Or 18 front, 19 rear.
So. much. chrome.
Lol. I thought the Honda community was the worst with their zero offset 15’s.
"... And we have hit another snag."
The tuner's anthem.
Quick tip. Use your Quick Jack lift the next time that you’re cutting and polishing a car. Much simpler to polish when not crouched downward.
BBS LMs in 19s
Even on stock suspension the rear was 1 inch higher. After i put the wheels on it, the rear 305's fit really good and there was minimal gap between the tire and fender BUT the front still had a huge gap even though the rear was 1 inch higher so i had to drop the front an inch to fill in the gap and give it the drag look.

LM’s or maybe some nice Advan GT’s TE 37’s
Was going to say Advan Gt or TE37 style wheels, in white. Maybe too typical though?
"my 2 and a half inches was a half inch too much!" -DP
What she said🤣
"hurt" his ankle. We all know it's a police tracker.
The BBS wheels look, to my tastes, the best on screen. Also I hope you have a swift recovery from your "parkour" injury!
18’s are surely the way, even liked the murdered out look!
Those Flexus wheels are so awesome
The Flexus wheels look on point. Reminds me of the Mk2 Supra in the 80's.
Works looked the best. And for the record, the 12 point socket trick totally works. Used it on two sets of wheels without the keys myself. Awesome trick.
Works wheels for me, defo the 18". Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Professor SP1 on a Supra is one of the greatest looks ever, highly recommend
i was thinking meisters, great minds think alike lmao
2 things I've bought because of you lads. 1) Fortune Auto 500's with Swift spring upgrade for my Evo X. 2) Quick Jack 5000. Both epic.
I've always been a fan of BBS LM. It looks great on a sport sedan as well as coupe like the Supra.
Seriously, you guys are crushing it with the content. Really nice work.
And just when I was looking for a front lip for the oem bumper this video popped up and I discovered you guys. Great content!
19-inch Celica/Supra Wheels, drool
The Flexus wheels. They look like a callback to the 80's Supra and really fit the car well IMO.
@ 19:12 you NEED TO KEEP THESE ON THIS RIDE!!! Absolute fitting tribute to the original Supra!
On this episode: How many times will Dave say droop?
The Flexus wheel looks the best. The polished machine finish with the black accents helps to offset all that black paint.
Flexus wheels I like the most. I'd like to see those 18 in the front and 19 in the rear. The BBS LMs would be next pick as they look so good on their own that you can put them on any car.

this video needs a counter for the amount of times Dave says "Droop" 😂
love watching you guys, keep the awesome content coming
you just reminded me i have a set of front 4piston calipers for a supra/sc300 in my basement I never used.
With the old school wheels, it looks like a modern version of my first car, a black 1986 Supra.
The BBS are killer
The works great right size right fitment not too big not too small.
I'm usually not much a fan of the black on black look, but I'm really digging the look of the Work CRs on this.
Im using the work meister s2kr wheels and they are great on the supra, they look and sized lovely for this car, they even fit well on my nsx 1992
The Flexus wheels look killer!! Maybe in a brushed bronze color, but either way they were the best!
I love the fitment of the Works, but the BBS look the best in my mind X3 something about the satin aluminum color really fits the style of the car
"Grab those monstrosities from the LS" was my first thought... The LM's on the Lexus though...
Love the Works.. just not all black, maybe a gunmetal or bronze?
Work Emotions for sure!
A tip when removing a locking wheel nut like that is to slightly tighten the other wheel nuts/bolts first to remove a bit of tension on the locker.

Im in love with this square setup!
For me is perfect like that
The BBS LM's are my favorite, but fitment just isn't right. I really like the Flexus wheels on the Supra. They fit it so well.
Id run 18 front 19 rear best look. 40 profile tire all round.
Black wheels get my vote, maybe not that particular design, but I did like the all black look,
Hope your ankle gets better pt great episode LOVED IT
I really loved the first ones. To solve maybe rubbing for the front going up another half inch all around and going with a 10mm less width front tire would be perfect on this car.

The flexus wheels look really good on it and are a great throwback to the mk2
Every time you mention Hamilton roads I get ptsd. Also the flexus wheels actually look sick on the supra I'd go with those out of the 3.
Back in the day I had 19" Advan Sienna Generation II's on mine. I think if I had that car today I'd probably run the 18's. They look good and you can probably get a little more tire.

My choice, I would go with the first set up look.👍
So the flexus are actually the remake of the celicasupra wheels my first 1985 supra I bought in 2005 came with these. I actually might buy these for nostalgia
The BBS LM’s definitely the best of the group. Ready to see what you’ve got picked out.
I know it's a bit standard but LM's or TE37's for me
Saying that the flexus wheels really had a nice OEM feel to them
Love the videos! Might want to consider changing some of those bushings they look crusty
Thank you for the droup travel guide will use that info in future coil over installs
I would black it out and smoke all the lights. Make it quite get a stronger trans and about 550hp and make is a daily sleeper! Can’t go wrong with CCW Classic & Meaty 265 Front & 315 Rear Tires
Hope the ankle heels quickly Pete…I personally like the 19 inch rims on the Supra but the style of the Black 18 inch one you had shown. That car does look nice murdered out.
I’d say keep the BBS and if anything the Works would do fine but i’m not such a big fan of any of those rims on the supra lol
Black wheels, not because I particularly like the color but for a little more pothole resistance
That front lip is just right. The LMs look better on that supra.
Also, would like to see a wrap that just mimics the original black color. For some reason I like my supras black.
In my opinion i see the bbs very nice on the supra❤️
BBS LMs or Super RS another fav for me on the Supra is CCWs classic or CCW D240s, Works VS XXs be my top 3🤙
cr kai's are the big winner here imo, although if we're sticking with work, meisters look absolutely amazing on supras
The works are perfect. 18s are a more practical size
What are those rear bumper spats called from back in the day? Gave an awesome view from behind
I would go with the black Work set of the 3. But in general, I'd stick with 5-spoke/10-spoke star shaped pattern wheels, like SSR GT-03 werfen.
From those wheel BBS, but to me best looking wheel under supra is Work meister in 3 piece, wide and deep lip
Even though the paint is junk. from a distance polished up it looks passable. but the internally fogged headlights are really a detraction.
and BBS.
Can you do the cabon fibre wrapping on hood and side view mirrors.
18's for sure. I run them on my supra. 19's are just a smidge too big.
I agree. Most people with 19"s run them with tons of camber
Those 19s are awesome on there. Makes a lot more sense than on the lexus to me.
If you can find a set, Veilside Andrew Racing V or Work Equip 05
I honestly love black on black but on this car I think the bbs are the best
For the black supra the work wheels just fit it so nicely in an overall tone but the lm look good too but they just aren't the right spec
Whoa... the Flexus wheels actually kinda work on the Supra...!
If you guys are digging this split 4 spoke style and also want 18's, maybe the new Volk Racing NE24 could be good?
I definitely prefer the works. Black on black looks great.
The Flexus wheels look nice, but the biggest issue is that they highlight the tiny stock brakes that are on there. A BBK under those wheels would look dope.
Just need a single side tilt exhaust
Also if you guys wants to run BBS then go for golden color on them
@13:28 the sounds I heard after I was on a hike and tripped over a old tree log that had a bee hive in it
Get the helper springs! You get 2in of droop and no rattle.
This car looks epic. Overall. Someone will have a blast with this thing.
I would stick with the BBS LM's imo, but I think for other wheels I'd go for Advan GT's or the Wedsport TC105X. Also, some good classic wheel options would be wheels like CCW Classics or SSR Professor SP3's.
I wasn't sold on the Flexus wheels on the 6k Sport Sedan (and wagon) Challenge, but damn they look good on the Supra.
I love the Flexus fitment however I like the design and look of the work's. You need to get the Work's style with Flexus fitment.
Omg guys, love the BBS rims but gotta say, gotta go with old school design. I would run those just to start a conversation on where da hell do I get a set of my own. Bonus they look sick!!
