OEM+ is timeless and will always be worth more for resale if you ever decide to part with it. The body kit looks cool, but my vote is OEM+ clean. It's a sick build guys!
Love how the brake calipers look behind those wheels and tyres, they look so much better than painted calipers. The size of the tyre side wall is spot on as well. Love it!
Great explanation of your compromises regarding offset and alignment etc team! I know you said up close you can see the blemishes but on camera she's lookin primo 🤘 - Taz.
What a beautiful Supra! Totally agree with sticking to OEM body styling, the Ridox is just a tad over the top in my opinion. The supra is one of the few cars that looks best when kept close to stock
A tip for the polishing, saw in one of the shots that the area under the door-handle looked quite scratched. A good tip is to take a microfiber towel, wrap it around your finger, put some polish/compound on it, and rub the area under the handle up and down, side to side for 30 secs, then re-apply some liquid, and do it a few times, and you can actually get that area to look pretty good just by doing it by hand!
I always say go as extreme as you can without permanently ruining or destroying the original car and components. As long as you can swap components back to original then go for it
Usually I would vote for the OEM+ plus look, but I have to vote for the Ridox style kit minus the diffuser. The kit looks so good! I fell in love with that kit after seeing Orido's Supra on Best Motoring/Hot Version and ever since then, it has been a dream to build a Ridox style Supra. Maybe one day, when I hit the lottery. 😋
Like most of us are saying keep it OE cuz in the '90s, alot of these beasts were equipped with a "simple" lip kit. It keeps the OE look but with a little finesse on top of it! Looks really good and cant wait to see it run against the R34 monster!!
I'm here for OEM as well. The only opinion I really got is that regardless of the history and lineage in those CE28N wheels those BBS' are stunning on the Mk4. Polishing and coating those BBS' would look amazing, it adds the finishing touches to the OEM+ look. Considering the clear turn signals and the updated heads and tails, it ties it all in so well.
Those Rays are magnificent, great choice, always been an admirer of the CE28N's and they are incredibly light. Keep it OEM, forget the crazy body kit but maybe fit carbon diffuser if it actually adds downforce
You guys did this car soooo right!! Even when you guys decided to take a risk or two, it paid off. And when you stayed conservative, like not putting the diffuser on, it paid off as well. Looks great, guys!!
I'll bet that after you painted everything on the kit minus the carbon pieces, the kit wouldn't look as aggressive as you're worried it would. But based on DP's preference, the right choice was made. May as well hang onto it if the Supra goes the (giveaway) way of the 350.
I would either change the wheels, run shorter bottom suspension links or had the wheels hubs machined to gain between 5mm and 10mm inset. Done now and you did a great job that looks good.
Rear diffuser without front splitter and, especially, flat underbody is just a parachute for the air traveling underneath. Very often it creates a drag due to the same effect one can observe in the Tesla valve (Tesla the inventor, not the car company). Some kits are well made and are designed to cover the stock underside to close all the pockets that can trap the air, but most are made for looks without any regard to how it affects the aerodynamics. In most cases, you are much better off with just a flat underside.
I had my rears rolled on my Supra. I had a pro do it. It came out perfect! I also have a 265 Yokohama A052 in the front and it rubbed really bad I had to do some height adjustment for now to keep it from rubbing. Love the videos!
I love it both ways; for a track machine I'd go with the Ridox style kit, for a street machine I'd keep it OEM+. Either way, I wouldn't kick it out of bed! Also, red on bronze is one of the best combos
I couldn't be more proud of calling myself a subscriber, the wheel and tire choice is amazing. It honestly looked just fine with the BBS, but those wheels and tires are sick. Calipers and rotors, oh man, so sick. Drive the car for awhile until it gets all chipped up, and then in a few years when that kit is ridiculously rare (and it will be in a few years), do a revamp of the supra with the kit and a custom livery!
I don't think there's a wrong choice between the OEM+ look and the aggressive aftermarket kit. All about personal preference. Love the CE28s also, right up there w/ TE37 in my book. Love the JDM Legends content, guys, glad to see you able to build some childhood dream cars after all the years you've been on UA-cam (and part of the Import scene in general).
I feel like you guys have done a lot of OEM+ builds and the Supra and GTR would be the perfect cars to go wild on. But ultimately it your build do what you enjoy!
OEM on bbs wheels. We've all seen them kitted out throughout the years going from phase to phase. From crazy body kits to slammed and cambered to decals and 200 gauges all over it. Now it's bronze or black wheels on everything.
Car looks great without the extra aero kit. Thank you for putting nice wheels on :) Besides the flexus, not a big fan of some of your wheel choices but your workmanship is always top notch. Keep up the great work. Oh and THANKYOU for the great camera work! I can't watch other utube channels that whip their camera back and forth like Willow Smith 🤣.
Man, I was about to yell "PNEUMATIC SAW!!!!" at the screen when I saw PT holding that flap wheel lol. Thank God he pulled out exactly that and didn't put that flap wheel to the Supra!
Paint the boiracer kit and put zeusfastners on both, so you can quick swap the kit. For diveren't vibes, for different events. Then you have the feeling that you have 2 cars, for the prise off one
Definitely made the right call to go stock body with the RMM style lip and Volks with the S2 lighting. A RMM style spoiler would make it full early 2000s magazine cover spec.
Big wing is what balances out aggressive diffusers, and you happen to have a big wing already. You already lowered front bumper profile with the eBay lip to match lowering effect of the diffuser. Also it looks like the diffuser could fit as is without the carbon end spats, because of your existing red spats if you just notch the bottom of the diffuser with a large U to accommodate the muffler body.
Ridox 100% IMO. I've always thought the stock Supra was a great base to work from, but boring in stock guise. Ridox makes a front bumper without the front splitter that gives a OEM+ vibe but updates the looks (like the '99 JDM spec Z32 front bumper does for that car) that have gone great with the CE28. The BBS set you had are probably a better fit with the OEM look you've gone with. All personal preference stuff though - still a great build overall though.
I was never a fan of the old supra's because everyone I saw was messed up by a bodykit or something else, this one on the other hand is just one sexy looking car! Great work guys, really digging the oem kept look! And removing the spring from the shock would also been a solution so you jack it up against the bumpstops, perhaps you didn't need to cut away that much at all but it takes more work and time, something that can be done in a more early stage when fitting the suspention.
Car looks amazing!!! Whatever trouble you went through to fit the wheel was Well worth it!!!! Glad you chose this look over the more aggressive one.. Make sure to get those turn signals either smoked or at list a slight tint to macch the black housing. Great looking car man.
OEM+ is timeless and will always be worth more for resale if you ever decide to part with it. The body kit looks cool, but my vote is OEM+ clean. It's a sick build guys!
💯 agreed
Agree OEM+ looks amazing. Only thing I'd personally add that they are missing is a carbon trd wing
Sell me the rear diffuser
Ce28s are not oem+ 😂 they're aftermarket rims that look nothing like the oem ones. I think Americans just love to say oem+
My vote is keep it OEM+. No crazy aero or body kits. It looks incredible with the Volks!
Absolutely.
Honestly it's perfect the way it is, don't ricer it out...Please don't, the kit was a wast of money.
@@Gatorman6924 that is what they do best. Put garbage ass wheels on cars that look great. Clean is not their style
OEM+ is my vote. So much cleaner. New lighting and lip updated and upgraded the look without being too loud.
This looks so good
This comment would have been way different had they installed that body kit 😂
i still don't get why amerimutts are obsessed with this shit ugly car
DUDEEEE POLICE IS HERE
Love how the brake calipers look behind those wheels and tyres, they look so much better than painted calipers. The size of the tyre side wall is spot on as well. Love it!
Definitely keep the OEM look. I liked the BBS wheels way more though, looked much better.
Yes the bbs made it pop
I totally agree! Hopefully they'll put them on the R34
BBS were it
shocked they cut the inner fenders for wheels
I agree, I think the bbs design style looked better but I do dig bronze wheels on red cars.
Great explanation of your compromises regarding offset and alignment etc team! I know you said up close you can see the blemishes but on camera she's lookin primo 🤘 - Taz.
High performance, period correct, high fashion. Dave’s appearance complements those round thingies on that red car well!
That's the first time I've ever seen CE28's and thought, "I really like those." Damn good job on this car.
whatttt? CE28s are the best! In my onion they look much nicer than TE37s
Underrated wheel
a third supra is needed for the redux kit, the duality of having an OEM+ car and an out right Track car has me all giddy.
I vote to keep the OE'ish body lines... it just looks so clean and tough enough. Too much body kit'ish looks cheap and F&F'ish. Keep it clean!!
I always say go as extreme as you can without permanently ruining or destroying the original car and components. As long as you can swap components back to original then go for it
I swear to God Dave, I'll slap you if that body kit installed on that Supra.
Wow. The polished red paint, bronze rays wheels, perfect stance and OEM plus look just works! Well done!
The supra looks amazing. I’m glad you kept it looking stock. I prefer the turn signals to be amber.
Just a perfect look. Absolutely love it. Great job guys.
No to the body kit and diffuser. Car looks amazing in it's current form 👍
Right choice on the body kit. OEM++ looks amazing.
I like it just as it is. Nice clean lines, nothing dramatic, and everyone knows exactly what it is when they see it!
Like most of us are saying keep it OE cuz in the '90s, alot of these beasts were equipped with a "simple" lip kit. It keeps the OE look but with a little finesse on top of it! Looks really good and cant wait to see it run against the R34 monster!!

Those Rays are magnificent, great choice, always been an admirer of the CE28N's and they are incredibly light. Keep it OEM, forget the crazy body kit but maybe fit carbon diffuser if it actually adds downforce
OEM+ will always be my favorite kind of car mods. I prefer the BBS LM over the CE28Ns but both look great
Leave the car how it is guys. Looks perfect on the oe kit with eBay lip. You guys have nailed it.
Those tires are AMAZING- been running them for the past 2 years on my DC5
Front/side splitters + a rear diffuser always makes a sports car look better imo. Great bodykit
You guys did this car soooo right!! Even when you guys decided to take a risk or two, it paid off. And when you stayed conservative, like not putting the diffuser on, it paid off as well. Looks great, guys!!
Loving this build series so far!
You guys really know how to tastefully mod cars man. Seriously taking me back to my binge watching days of Spike TV on Saturday mornings.
I'll bet that after you painted everything on the kit minus the carbon pieces, the kit wouldn't look as aggressive as you're worried it would. But based on DP's preference, the right choice was made. May as well hang onto it if the Supra goes the (giveaway) way of the 350.
I'm so pumped for this build! Love you guys!
One of the cleanest Surpras out there. The color/wheel/brake.
Primo.
That body kit belongs in one place, IN THE BIN! Wheels look sick boys. Great video
A little dark film on the front and side indicators and maybe the rear third brake light and it’s PERFECT!
This car could not look better - you guys are legend.
I would either change the wheels, run shorter bottom suspension links or had the wheels hubs machined to gain between 5mm and 10mm inset. Done now and you did a great job that looks good.

I think you guys made the right choice 100% going the OEM look. Looks so goood.
That's one of the nicest brake kits I've seen imo
I like the OEM stuff especially optional goodies. Looks great guys!
You did not make the wrong choice! Ridox kit is great but the OEM++ look is what i would have done too. That Supra looks amazing!! Well done guys!
The oem look all day. Nothing wrong with the kit but it is a bit Hot Wheels.
Looks crisp as it sits. 👌
It’s good to see you guys using so much PPE to keep yourselves safe.
Current setup is gorgeous!!! Looks perfect.
We don’t deserve this level of content. Great work guys.
OEM+ is where it’s at. It’s amazing what a nice lip kit, quality wheels and a proper stance will do for a car…
This car is such a dream. Its rare af to see a tasteful oem+ street/track build.
The previous headlights tied the front-end together sooo much better.
OEM supras are exceedingly rare now especially with the stock wheels.
Stock wheel supras are unicorns
Red + bronze Volks. Perfect !!!!! Love the way this came out. The gtr has some catching up to do
Thanks a lot. Now I feel older. The stock look makes me feel younger.
oem+, sick wheel color combo, love everything about this car. good job with the fenders cutting!
Absolutely beautiful. OEM+ is the way to go with Supras. Smoked front markers will finish it off nicely to match the headlights.
OEM+ should be a trend
Knocked the look of this car out of the park! Looks fantastic guys!
Looks beautiful. I have te37sl on my mkv but ce28 are very underrated! Please keep this build clean like it is currently!
So happy to see some legendary legit wheels, bronze looks so good on the red
wow! it looks amazing! that wheel with the red paint! amazing
OEM on bbs wheels. We've all seen them kitted out throughout the years going from phase to phase. From crazy body kits to slammed and cambered to decals and 200 gauges all over it. Now it's bronze or black wheels on everything.

Man, I was about to yell "PNEUMATIC SAW!!!!" at the screen when I saw PT holding that flap wheel lol. Thank God he pulled out exactly that and didn't put that flap wheel to the Supra!
OEM+ is love the only thing I would add personally would be the TRD wing, because that thing is just mmph chef's kiss.
I think you are right. Carbon fiber would ruin what you've achieved and that car is something I would be proud to own. Great work.
Ridox doesn't get enough love, but hey, your project. Also, your execution is gorgeous, Godspeed fellas.
Paint the boiracer kit and put zeusfastners on both, so you can quick swap the kit. For diveren't vibes, for different events.
Then you have the feeling that you have 2 cars, for the prise off one
Wow it looks so good the way you got it now!! You can always do another transformation in the future 😉
The wheels look amazing! And I love the new lights. Well done guys!
This build is soooooo clean. Love the wheels!
The wise silver fox knows what he’s talking about. I’m right there with u guys on the OE+
Definitely made the right call to go stock body with the RMM style lip and Volks with the S2 lighting. A RMM style spoiler would make it full early 2000s magazine cover spec.
Holy moly freaking tony , OEM Bodykits and BBS wheels is very amazing 😍
OEM++ look for sure, listen to the silver fox! Amazing work Pete/Dave, can't wait for the dyno.
Please keep it stock and clean guys. Car looks great. Keep up the good work, cant wait for more content
I kinda come here for that OEM+ content. It's always a good choice imo
It looks awesome...bronze Volks on the red, beautiful stance, clean body...I can't think of anything I'd have done differently if it were mine.
This machine looks incredibly gooood. The OEM ++ look is chef's kiss🤌🤌
Looks good guys, I like that the tires have a little more sidewalk
Ridox 100% IMO. I've always thought the stock Supra was a great base to work from, but boring in stock guise.
Ridox makes a front bumper without the front splitter that gives a OEM+ vibe but updates the looks (like the '99 JDM spec Z32 front bumper does for that car) that have gone great with the CE28.
The BBS set you had are probably a better fit with the OEM look you've gone with.
All personal preference stuff though - still a great build overall though.
The Ridox bumper always reminded me of the facelifted 300ZX or RX7 bumpers.
Seeing that front camber makes my soul happy!!!
Looking good guys keep up the hard work hope to see it on the road here soon shortly
I agree with others to keep it oem+ as it looks so good already without any additional stuff added on.
I was never a fan of the old supra's because everyone I saw was messed up by a bodykit or something else, this one on the other hand is just one sexy looking car! Great work guys, really digging the oem kept look! I love the supra stock rear end. That Wang is perfect on it
you absolutely need to put that riddox kit on. shit is straight FIRE
you made the right call, super clean
Looking good boys, no boy racer mods! Although I think the silver wheels look much better than the bronze.
That aftermarket front bumper and diffuser look great
The OEM+ look is perfect for this build.
So glad you’re going oem plus and s2 lighting. You need the mvp Motorsports s1 to s2 conversion harness
Nice job guys top quality work, looks best OEM+
