Can't wait to see the purple locks! Manic Panic was the bomb in the 80s, when I was in high school. My fav hair color I had was silver. Of course it looked weird on a high school kid, which is why I liked it.
Ugh! It didn't work!! I'll be trying another brand later this week.
deniseflygirl heyo ive been dying my hair fir two years (im 15 btw) and I love having bright hair it makes me feel like I am my own person and many people do it at my school it's awesome. I've had my hair red,blue,purple etc. I like to see its not just a youth thing haha
@@PetrinaShows i've used manic panic before and it tends to stay in for only a couple months... but i also have to leave it in for around an hour for any results.

Apply coconut oil in your hair before bleaching! It totally prevents hair damage and keeps your hair soft. Oils and conditioners are your friend! Only shampoo really good to get all the bleach out, but afterwards treat your hair with conditioner, oils and hair masks.
I'm about to bleach a small part of my hair, do you mean to leave the coconut oil in DURING bleaching or just put some in, leave it, and remove it before bleaching? :o

so to get this clear you put coconut oil then apply bleach right on top of it or do you wash it off?
@@marilynmunoz5670 Coconut oil protects the hair. It doesn't matter if you leave it in or not as long as the hair absorbs it.
how did you dye your hair with glasses I have baby hairs so when I wear glasses the sides press it down, and i can't dye my whole head without having to take off my glasses, then I can't see.

First video of yours that I've seen! Thanks for the tutorial! I am definitely going to buy two Manic Panic Kits for my hair, as I'm trying to go silver, and I have black hair.... We'll see how that goes.... LOL. :) Looking forward to seeing how the purple looks! :)

I think so- my scalp didn't feel irritated at all afterwards.
How long did you have the bleach on for? You didn’t say it
You should leave it in for 30 minutes or less but NEVER leave it in for more than 30 minutes and apply coconut oil 30 minutes before you apply to prevent any hair damage. Hope this helps!
My hair is dark brown so I don't know if I should use the 30 volume kit or the 40 volume kit
I just did another bleach session and used the 40. It worked even better than the 30. Just keep an eye on your hair and don't leave it in too long! Hope that helps!
well it depends on many things.. but with dark brown you have the risk of getting orange-like hair. IF this happens..
DO. NOT. TONE. YOUR. HAIR (before bleaching it again) bleach your hair so it becomes the shade of blonde that you want and than if still needed you can tone your hair. I have dark hair too. i have a lot of hair and the first time i bleached my own hair with the 40 vol. kit.. i BURNED my scalp and now i live with a bold spot. thank God that i have this much hair to cover it up but it still didn't stop me from bleaching and dying my hair

Lola Ali ik this is kind of an old comment but the amount of powder and developer that comes in the kit is the perfect ratio to use all of both!
