Hi! Asian hair is generally very course and difficult to lift to a high level. Bleach will always damage the hair, but is important to use it safely to incur minimal damage. Using 30 Volume once (not until the root) will damage your hair, and leave you with a brassy level 7 (most likely).
Manic Panic I have Asian (South Asia) hair too. What should we do then? I badly wanna colour mine with Blue Lagoon. I don't know what to do. Everyone's always saying that Asian hair is this and that and course.
Crystal in the sky There's just no other way. Bleaching your hair will definitely damage it. You just have to take care of it after the whole process. I am also Asian and my hair had been under the bleach 7 times. It doesn't appear too damaged because I was only bleaching every 2 weeks last year, before I achieved Platinum Blonde. My best advice is if you plan to bleach and dye your hair, invest on dry shampoo and a good color protecting conditioner. Hair mask is also good, but I used it before and a lot of color came out when I rinsed it. Alberto v05 Hot Oil Treatment is good, too, but it's damn expensive.

I currently have brown hair, and I want to dye it a blue color. I need to lighten it. I think my hair is healthy. Which one should I use & exactly how do you tell if your hair is healthy enough to dye it???
Hi Remy! When going blue from brown hair, be mindful of the brassy or red/orange tones that will be left over after lightening. We usually recommend formulating your blue with a bit of violet. It depends on how light/ bright you want to go and how damaged your hair is. You can send a photo to customercare@manicpanic.com and we will do our best to accommodate you there!
Will it completely damage your hair cause my hair is brown and it has some really light brown highlights in it too cause in the future I'm planning to dye my hair. Plz I really need to know
Hi! It depends on how healthy your hair is and what volume you intend to use in what manner. Please e-mail customerservice@manicpanic.com with photos of your hair and what you're looking to achieve for more help!
We don't recommend using our Bleach Kits on dyed black hair, this can be extremely damaging to your hair. Permanent Black Dye can have harsh chemicals and removing this with bleach is dangerous. We suggest visiting a licensed stylist for color removal.
Hey um my hair is already bleached but I put a lot or different color dye over it and now it’s a greens brown would I be Able to use this on my hair to remove and light it or would it cause breakage my hair is extremely healthy and thick
Its best to begin lifiting with a lower volume bleach and space out the bleach sessions over a few months to keep your hair from breaking. You can leave the bleach in your hair up to 45 minutes just keep checking every 10 minutes or so for breakage or damage.
hi! my hair is dark brown and i want to dye it with the Bad Boy blue I think it's called. which bleaching kit should i use for it to look good? btw my hair's pretty healthy
Hi! Blue's can be a little tricky as yellow and orange undertones are normally present in dark hair after lightening. We recommend using a 40 volume and also mixing a little bit of Lie Locks (our blue based violet) to help keep your hair from going green. If you need more help, please let us know :)
I want to buy this kit, but my hair has already been bleached and dyed. Whould it still be strong enough? And whould it be enough for the entirety of my hair?
I have Dark Brown Hair. I purchased this and its my first time dying my hair. Im not doing all of it at once. ... But if I bleach, do i have to use a toner right after, before i dye it? And can i dye my hair right after bleaching it or should i wait ????
Amanda Lawyer it depends on the end result after bleaching and what color you are dying it on whether or not you should use a toner. I would say no its not necessary unless trying to achieve a platinum blonde. Otherwise whatever color you are dying over it should handle any brassiness. Also semi permanent vibrant colors like this are non damaging to the hair. You could literally leave them on as long as you want without doing damage so yes you can dye it right after bleaching it. Hope this helped!
Hi, I want to do my ends with a silver or grey tone, they were previously bleached but after that I used a black dye, so would you recommend to bleach the ends again? Thanks
Hi Fernanda, it's difficult to advise without seeing your hair and understanding a little bit more about your previously process. If you put a permanent black over your ends, bleaching them once more may not be safe and is likely to result in a dark red result. Kindly e-mail photos of your hair and a detailed description of your previous coloring experiences to customerservice@manicpanic.com and we will get it sorted :)
So I just did my hair, from black to blonde, but missed a spot on the back, and a little at the roots. I wanted to know though, if I go over it in a few days, because I have to reorder the stuff, should I just go over the missed spots, or all the hair. I'm afraid if I do it all, the missed spots will be darker than the already blonde.
just go over the missed spots !! the dark spots will still appear if u go over ur whole head, u just just even it all out it will be much easier. Not to mention, your hair is probably very damaged right now and doesn't need anymore bleaching for at least a week or two

Should I tone my hair before colouring? I have black asian hair, only dyed twice, very healthy and thick. I'm assuming after I bleach it, it will be very brassy. I have bought the bleach kit and after midnight (classic). Should I tone?; or will it come out to the colour in the tub? With Thanks, Viv
Pinkie PIE Well, it's bleach. If you apply a lot of coconut oil like a hour (preferably a day before) you bleach your hair, you're fine. Also, applying it on dirty hair is good since the natural oils will help to retain hydration and decrease the risk of damage. When you wash it out, use a conditioner that will make your hair soft and all that

Um hi~ I was wondering if one kit was enough for all the head? I'm kinda scared to not have enough.. my hair fall just beneath my armpits
Lilya Who Knows ~ it should be enough but if you're worried get two packages
It will rinse out tho right? Eventually and back to the blonde it was B4?
how much hair could one box dye?
can you do a quick and messy way by just grabbing it with your hands and just go over your hair like shampooing?
Yes, but you might get dye over your hands. Use gloves!
I'm naturally a dirty blonde/ light brown and I haven't bleached out my hair since April 2021..
Not to mention, your hair is probably very damaged right now and doesn't need anymore bleaching for at least a week or two
how did you get it to blonde?? just using this stuff and then a dye orrrr
I have long black hair and i want to achieve the silver hair look. i know i'll have to tone it to achieve the silver instead of the yellow but how many times do you reckon i should bleach my hair? I'm trying to estimate how many boxes i should buy because as i mentioned before, i have long black hair. My tips have already been bleached 3 times to be blonde but i have no idea what volume developer they used ahh I'm so confused i want everything to match
Anka Rose with black hair use 40 volume for 2 rounds
I've already died my hair dark brown several times and I tried to bleach them with an extreme brightener, but they stayed as dark as before. Only the hairline got orange. I also tried a hair colour remover and my hair got a bit brighter, but not much. I want to dye my hair purple, so I would like to know if the bleach kit could make my hair at least dark blonde.
I've only ever used Manic Panic's Flash Lightening Bleach! My hair was dark brown and I got it really white with this product. Just make sure you DO check it out every 10 minutes! That's really important. I've had pink, purple, and blue hair and it comes out awesome when I use this bleach.
Just ordered this and it’s coming tomorrow, I was wondering if it worked on black peoples hair?? I got the 40 volume and my hair is black at the back and dyed red at the front(not red red but it looks chestnut brown idk). I just got my braids taken out so I didn’t get to wash my hair yet. Also can I use the entire tube on my hair? When my hair is straighten it reaches to the tip of my shoulders I think but it’s curly atm
Not sure but I'm about to use it on my locs in a few days! I imagine it should work perfectly fine.
Yes. I'm black with curly natural hair and it worked great on mine. This was my first time bleaching my hair and the results were really good. Didn't look/feel fried, dry or broken off. I used the whole thing together
what the manic panic color (post bleach) used in the video.
It's Hot Hot Pink!
should one bleach kit dye my fairly thin shoulder length hair?
Yes
Oh yeah. I have really thick shoulder length hair and bought two. I only used one and had some left over from it.
My hair is just a little darker than the hair on the manniqin in the video so should I use the 30 volume kit or the 40 volume kit
40

+Sarah Rose Please contact customerservice@manicpanic.com with a detailed description of your previous hair dying process and what steps you have taken to try and fade your color. We can better accommodate you in this regard! Thank you!
It s good for the beard?
Is the Bleach permanent?? Or is it washable because my daughter wants to bleach her hair in the tips blonde but doesn't want it to ruin her natural hair!!
Bleach is always permanent
Thank you for sharing ♡
thank you!!!!!
I have black hair can i use this to?
+BabyUnicorn Stalker Hi there! If your hair is healthy, it is totally safe to use our bleach kits.
+Manic Panic Thanks
Should I tone my hair before colouring? I have black asian hair, only dyed twice, very healthy and thick. I'm assuming after I bleach it, it will be very brassy. I have bought the bleach kit and after midnight (classic). Should I tone?; or will it come out to the colour in the tub?
With Thanks,
Viv
Vivian Tang If your hair comes out brassy you could either go a second round or use blue toner for a more silvery color
Thank you
Is the bleach washable?
What do you put in the dying part
wow i loved:-)
luv this stuff!!! #swearbyit lol
Is this bleach damaging? Need to know asap!!
Pinkie PIE Well, it's bleach. If you apply a lot of coconut oil like a hour (preferably a day before) you bleach your hair, you're fine. Also, applying it on dirty hair is good since the natural oils will help to retain hydration and decrease the risk of damage. When you wash it out, use a conditioner that will make your hair soft and all that
what about toner? do you sell it?
Jade Käänik they do have it, it's called virgin snow
Great & simple video!!! Switching brands. Maniac has won my heart!!!! #Pinkyy322
Is manic panic one time use?
Are you referring to our bleach or dyes? If you are referring to bleach, if you mix EXACT proportions, you may use it at a later date. Our dyes expire one year after opening them.
Hello, can you please click on the auto-captions UA-cam option for deaf manic panic users like me? It costs nothing yet gives the multi-millions of people (and potential customers) with hearing
loss access to your video expertise. Thanks soooooo much!
Absolutely! Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
How long
I have pretty healthy hair and i want to bleach the ends... How damaging is the 30 volume bleach??
If your hair is pretty healthy, the 30 volume (one time) shouldn't be too bad. If you're concerned, try a test strip!
plz launch in india. Culdnt find this product on Amazon. in plz Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
does anyone know the color of the dye used in the video?
Hot Hot Pink lovely!
What if i apply this on hair already that yellow?
The bleach or the color? email customerservice@manicpanic.com
my mom keeps saying. "You cant bleach your hair because it will fry it." does anyone know how to not fry you hair while bleaching it?
Will to be honest with you, if you have virgin hair , your hair won’t have too much damage. If you don’t want to fry or damage your hair while using bleach for the first time, I recommend using a low volume and checking on the bleach while it’s on your hair every 10 minutes instead of just leaving it on for 40 minutes straight just to keep an eye out.
How long does it last?
Kalyesha Lemire bleaching your hair is permament. After bleaching you have to wait till your natural haircolor grows out again :)
Creepy
I'm going to rebleach my hair
it's not a great video.
the music is very annoying.
why can't she just talk to us instead of all the stupid looks and gesture to camera.
the product is great however so I'm going to buy some.
.....
This lady has no idea what she's doing
The music is unbearable.
is this okay for hair that's been bleach more than anything once? I been giving my hair a break for the past two years.
It depends on the condition of your hair. We suggest performing a test strip before use of any of our products.
