- Happy Saturday! Today is Day 6 of "Dark Hair, Don't Care" Week!! Today we are breaking our golden rule! We are bleaching!! I had seen this in a comment one time asking if I could bleach the last few inches of my hair and color it and I thought that would be so fun! So i decided I would do that for this week! Growing up I had that dark dark dark brown but looks "black" hair. I hated it. Until high school I could bleach it. But I recently used blue semi permanent color and turned a lighter version of what you have. Its a pretty color though. Love your videos and trying these on dark color hair.

When I went to Mexico, the family hairdresser did my hair and dyed it neon blue and metallic blue but when I had to dye it again in New York, I mixed mermaid blue and totally teal and the color came out like yours and I have the same dark hair like yours

I would love you to try this one again but putting foil in the end to get better results and do warm coconut oil before that is what helps hair from getting damaged and still get your results promise ♥️
I’ve recommended this so many times already but I hope someday you’re able to try out the Loreal hicolors. They’re specifically for dark hair. But anyways this hair color looks great on you ☺️

Your hair came out great! Has anyone else ever heard of using hydrogen peroxide as developer before this because I haven’t. I know developer has peroxide in it but still... that’s new to me

Omg theresa it looks stunning! And from a hairstylist you didn't do bad at all you did a great job if anything I would of just left the bleach in a tad longer but for what you did it didnt need it. It looks great to bad you cut it off it would look awesome other colors pink , purple, etc. Anyway great job!
That bleaching kit works best with heat applied. Just a helpful tip if you want to do it again. Will help avoid that brassy color.
How would you go about doing that? Do you know of there are any tutorials for bleaching with that specific kit?
Viv Lopez with just doing the ends I would suggest using the plastic head cover the kit comes with and a hand held blow dryer. Gather up the ends wrap the plastic cover over them and clip it in place then put the hair dryer on highest heat setting and there you go. At least that is the easiest way I can think of to do it.

@@vivlopez6223 applying heat to bleached hair like that would be unnecessarily damaging. Hair that is super dark would be best bleached twice to lift past the brassy level. Wrap bleached hair with something such as foil or plastic wrap so that air doesn't dry it out and stop it from lifting. Once wrapped/covered/etc the heat from your scalp is more than enough to aid in lifting color.
I inhale bleach when i was bleaching my hair before i only dyed a little inside

Love your channel! New subbie here. Thank you for sharing. :) Manic Panic bleach is not the best thing you can use for your hair. It does not lighten nearly as many levels as Schwarzkopf's, smells terrible and really fries your hair. For longer hair I recommend Schwarzkopf Professional Blond Me Premium Lift 9 Bleach and 12% Oil Formula Premium 40 Volume Developer. It smells amazing, like roses. No harsh fumes and it conditions your hair very well while it is processing so it is not nearly as damaging as many other bleaches. It costs quite a bit but it is absolutely worth it.

I use artic fox and it smells amazing just like candy grapes its also vegan and cruelty free. I have better results with the manic panic flash lighting bleach kit. My hair was a dark brown and it made it blonde there was no orange it was like the perfect blonde

im glad u like the vids!! the things i use (the semi perms and chalks etc) are actually suuuper non harming cause of no bleach etc the ones like Arctic fox and manic panic actually make my hair feel softer than my conditioners!

After you cut your hair I think you should do this again. You have BEAUTIFUL hair and adding that small amount of fun color would look nice. Just a thought. If I was 25yrs younger I would have done this. I also have dark hair but from age 15-30ish I used frost and glow for lighter hair. I was blondish until my mid 30s. Now when hair is colored I do blue black. Have to cover those grays 😐
im def gunna do it again! my hair grows pretty fast so once its long enough that i can cut 2 inches off ima do pink! can't keep it in too long tho cause of my dark hair videos but i really wanna see how it looks!

I’m thinking maybe you should stop messing with your hair and let a professional work on your hair because the only reason why your hair feels dry is because just bleach does do a little bit of drying but if you process it for too long your hair will feel like string cheese and a fry it so just be careful.
