I love riding my fz1 but when I want a relaxing stress-free ride I'll jump on my 09 ninja 250 that I bought just to commute on, it's a different kind of fun riding a small cc sport bike. I've never owned a grom or a z125 but maybe one day I'll get one.
I feel ya bro. I love my z125. Ive had a blast on it, but have no one to ride with. Lately been riding it less and less. Pretty much only when i am local to grab something. And like u said, not a good starter bike. My wife wants to learn on it, when i say the Vstar 650 classic would be better. But she woried about weight. It only weighs like 545. Idk
The VStar would be perfect. I get the weight part, but its a low seat height. If she can flat foot it, She would be fine. You're just going to have to be more persuasive! haha Or maybe let her ride the zpro in a parking lot to learn basics and then the vstar in the same parking lot to get used to the weight?
Its definitely more fun when you can mess around with friends! Have you checked out the z900s? Id personally stay away from an fz09 just knowing that they don't have the upgraded rotor assembly (I believe up until 2015). So if you don't replace that right away your engine is just a ticking time bomb. The oem replacement is $4-500. They make aftermarket, but I and others have had engine issues form using them, due to poor quality control. Just too much in my opinion to worry about with a bike that you just want to ride.

They always say, its more fun riding a slow bike fast, than it is riding a fast bike slow. lol You've got a nice collection!

I agree with you if it went about 70 -80 it would be fine but 50 mph ain’t it it’s a cool fun looking bike tho! I miss mine actually I had a 18
If the Zpro did 70-80 it would be perfect. I'm curios about the CF Moto Papio. I think I heard they have 6 speed transmissions?
Just say a prayer his vehicle ain’t worth fixing someday and Sean will get a bike and ride with you
its a ford.. so it shouldn't be too long ;)
I still have my 2021 z125 but I'm in your shoes with having nobody to cruise around with in Vegas. Thinking of getting an fz09 🤔
