Whoever says there aren't parts for Z125's is probably just hating on the Z125. I have a 2019 and it has way more done to it than I ever intended. There's so much available.
I know its top speed is around 65... if I'm gonna be riding it at around 55 most of the time do you think that would be much of a issue? Speed limit on most of the roads where I live is 55, and people speeding all the time around here so wanna make sure I can at least go the speed limit without wearing out the engine too soon
Yes is the answer. Just bought a 2021 with a whopping 24 miles on it for a grand less than current out the door price. I’m just under 280 lbs with 39 years riding experience and due to nerve damage in my spine had to stop riding heavy bikes. Nothing but smile after smile as I ride. Added bar risers and I’ll probably change the seat and add a small rack. Then ride the hell out of it.
Thank you!! I appreciate you following me, I will definitely follow your channel, I love watching z125 content and you're right there's not much z content
How do you like it so far? i just finally got a new schedule so I can start getting back into making videos again so I'm excited about that, my last job i was working too many days in a row and lost my way but I'm getting back into it starting this coming weekends
@@Bruce125z honestly loving it had it about a month now put 500 miles on it kinda want to get a laptop and go pro and start recording videos just for fun
‘18 Z and ‘23 Grom here. Rode the OG and 2nd gen Groms. Crap. I can see how they appealed to people that don’t know anything about bikes. But if you’re already a rider the Z is a better all around bike. Better suspension, better looks and more a ‘real’ bike than the ‘toy like’ Grom. The updated 5 speed doesn’t make the Grom better. It’s nice but the Z is still better.
It's for my hand brake, I have a rear hand brake set up for wheelies, that's why the extra reservoir is on the said, under my clutch lever is the brake lever
Couple things, not to be smart but you mentioned in another video that thee z wasn't in 2023. Just by chance crossed dealers advertising 2023 z125's. Second I know Grom is made in Thailand and not sure where z125 is made. Have a Honda cb300r made in Thailand and not quite same quality as Japanese. Do love the bike though just looking at adding a mini
I read a comment on a z125 post that z125s may not be made anymore which I highly doubt, they're too successful for Kawasaki to just quit making. Maybe a different look, or styl but definitely should still be produced for a few years to come, I could be wrong but I can't see them giving up on such a successful mini along side of Hondas Grom. As far as other countries, idk what exactly they have if it's any different but weather you pick the z125, or the Honda Grom, you won't be disappointed. They both have their strengths but for me the z125 feels more stiff as far as suspension, the Grom is more light weight in the forks kinda bouncy feeling. The z125 also feel more like a mini crotch rocket as where the 2022 and 2023 Grom is more cafe feel so it's just preference but to me the z125 looks more sporty.
Z125 is still 4 speed, and top speed depends on wind, your weight, as far as I go, both z125 and 2022 grom max out about the same with me on it, 61mph someone lighter than me I weigh 190 could probably see 65 with no wind. So simple answer they both go the same top speed with me
Not that I notice but the difference in fuel tank size the z125 hold 2 gal, where the 2022 grom is 1.6 but as far as mpg I ride both the same and both hang around 94 to 103 per gal depending on routes I take.
I’m new to the z family .. so definitely needed this video….
me too
i have a ninja 400, but these look so interesting 😵💫

Exactly! I love my z125 and I've never had issues finding stunt or just upgraded parts.

No it wont have any effect, these bikes are actually very good in the upper rpms for a long period of time. you will be just fine.

How do you find it for a heavier person
❤ this video! Honest reviews are priceless
Thank you!
@@Bruce125z glad I ran across your video. Hopefully I get a z125 today. May your channel prosper!
That's awesome congrats on getting your z125 I hope it all works out for you, I'll have more videos coming this sunday
Do you have to cut the ends of the Pro Taper bars? I think I’m going to get one and I like those Pro Taper KLX 110 bars.
If you don’t mind slow and keeping off the main streets , why not .if you thinking about your main bike don’t waste your money.
Dealership is going to give me a call as soon as they get the 2024 shipment in. I can’t wait!!
New Sub! Been enjoying the Z content since there aren’t too many of us out here. Fellow SoFlo Rider 🤙🏾

I got a z 125 pro and love it
Good positive message Brother.
Thanks man, I try to keep things positive.
What kind of handlebars are those?
Just got my 2020 with only 4 miles on it 😊

I agree, the z is more solid all around! I will always prefer my z over the grom
I only got grom cause it fit me better
I do love my 2022 grom it feels bigger and a little more stable with the wider tires
Why do you have a reservoir on your left handle ? My Z1 25 doesn't have that
It's for my hand brake, I have a rear hand brake set up for wheelies, that's why the extra reservoir is on the said, under my clutch lever is the brake lever
The Z is way better than the Grom and the aftermarket parts segment is just about as good.
It still baffles me when people say the aftermarket parts aren't there for the Z lol they sure are!
yo really loved this video🤙🏽 stay safe riding🖤
Thank you I really appreciate it! And I will stay safe and you too!

Got the Benelli .5 speed and looks way cooler.
I do like the looks of them, I haven't seen one in person yet but I'm sure they're a contender, more hp
Why did ya stay with stock pipe???
I stayed with stock pipe because I had the chimera intake and Kawasaki brad o2 delete so stock pipe I didn't need a tuner it ran perfect.
I have 2021 bro i love it however......they have to do there hom🤷🏽
Are they still 4 speed or did they go 5 like the Grom? Is there a difference in rom and top speed?
