Hm yeah, I thought the mirror stalks could be a little wider, but I found an adjustment that works great with a minimum of chicken-winging, and now I actually like the mirrors. Seating position: I'm 5-11, and I was shocked that this thing fits me as well as it does--I expected it to feel way smaller and more cramped. The fit was probably the main factor in my purchase decision. That said, there's no getting around the fact that this is a very small bike, and I don't think I'd try to do a long trip on it. Thanks for the info on modding costs. I'm keeping mine stock, expecting to trade up after season, but yeah, shocking prices! Thanks
I respect your opinions and I appreciate you making the video. I don't know if mirrors should've made this list. Mirrors are never good on any bike. It's not like another bike does it better. Get bar ergs
I got 2,360 miles on my 23 and the best mpg I got on it is 119 atm the lowest is 85, average for me is 92ish it's bone stock I'm 205lbs at 6'2. And I ride normally between 45 to 58ish mph. The advertised mpg of the grom is 166. As a taller rider for me to grip the tank with my legs I got to sit back and use the passenger pegs 😂
I’ve had both. Benelli had a little more power and a 5 speed but weighed a lot. Orr and wasn’t as fun to ride. Build quality was not as good as the z125 either.
Changed my seat added bar risers and mirror risers/extenders. Kawasaki Brad 02 delete and modded the factory exhaust. Good to go from there don’t think I’ll do anything else at this point
I spent like ten bucks for some mirror extenders/risers on Amazon problem solved. Added a bar riser also and recently a flat seat from Bride

I guess that just goes to show how little of an issue I had with the bike lol if mirrors end up being one of my top 5 biggest complaints 😂

The best I’ve seen so far has still been around 86MPG 5’7 165 but I only have around 600-700 miles
My fuel mileage increased after about 400 miles as the motor settled in I get about 100 to 110
That’s good to hear, mine is at 470 miles right now so hopefully mine will increase a little here soon

Yeah I weigh 275lbs and 5’9” and get around 85 to 110 depending on hills and windy days.

How did you mod the stock exhaust? Grind the weld around the small outlet, shorten that tube and re-weld it?
