This reminds me of something that happened after high school. A classmate found my mom on Facebook and double-checked to make sure she was MY mom. I was surprised he remembered me because we weren't friends; we just happened to go to the same elementary, middle, and high school.
He told my mom that he remembered me because I was kind to everyone, even if that kindness wasn't reciprocated. Y'all, I started crying on the spot 😭 I was so convinced he would have remembered me for my acne or frizzy hair or awkward mannerisms.

I actually never thought about this until I saw this video. I asked my friends if they agree and even asked my ex. They all said that they agree.
They fell for me cause of who I am, while strangers who didn't know me insulted me and put me down for what I looked like.
I watch these videos whenever I feel lonely or down

Sadly apparently im ugly in all ways, i thought i was but after years of rejection both platonically and romanticly. I was somwhat at peace with myself, but when others aren't then what gives.
I was a bit of a people pleaser even though i was generally not very usefull i tried, but when i started saying no when i felt like i needed to, i just ended up pushing people away.
When i talk about the things i like and are interested in people just don't care. Honestly i do most of this stuff. But it doesn't work out.
im not sure what to tell you there are people who probably do care for you obviously but if its someone that you want maybe those are your best shot. What would help is a usage of analyzing certain things like behaviors and patterns. I don't want to sound grim or anything but this also seems like the situation in which you may not be really able to give it your all and mainly just have relationships for the beneficial part of it. There could some that may think in this manner but many that have are usually like this to an extent. Such thinking requires a very strong mind an example of it is how you react, how you argue, defend, and do things under certain situations. You could use emotions as an indicator from yourself or others but you can never truly act out on them if you don't have a logically possible reason to do so. It sounds sad but that's just how it is. Though it doesn't have to be plus you got a cool profile pic. Try being nice to someone and help them in times of need you don't really need to be involved deeply but that's where the analyzing of behaviors and patterns helps in.

YEP! I had no idea that it was a thing to be emotionally attractive! Got in the way of determining if I was aromantic or not haha
It also seems we are attracted to people that are somehow similar to us (ex: personality, preferences, hobbies, dislikes and likes). But sometimes we are also attracted to our polar opposites.
*My opinion* those who adapt or good at reading the room are attractive to me. They're flexible in conversations. They also show different sides that makes me curious to get to know them more.
All of what you said is what I've wanted to be like from the beginning, but in doing that I stopped being myself, so I've decided I won't waste my time trying to be someone I'm not I'm improving my physical and mental needs, and I'm really thankful I found this page for helping me realize what I was missing in life, and helpful me realize it's not all about being popular, and being someone other then yourself it's about being who you are and loving yourself for it, thank you so much for everything I really appreciate it.

Well atleast I know there's something than me just being very anti-social and socially anxious. Most of the time if I'm spoken to I guess I could say I would "ghost my emotions." It's hard. I can't communicate with emotion, but I can keep my anger back in public. Recently it's been a bit harder on me though.

2: I like to but usually only if my first impression is good (i tend to make deep things funnier because i have that comedian mindset)
3: I do try, and i do it sometimes. but i’m not very good at it.
4: Yeppers. i say no (usually in the politest way i can think of) a lot
5: I listen to a certain extent but if it’s _really_ stupid then nahh. But a lot of the time i don’t agree with other opinions and I usually don’t change my mind. i’ll just go ‘let’s agree to disagree’ and move on from it unless it’s a bad or harmful opinion

Being emotionally attractive seems to be a detriment sometimes some say I’m too kind and let others take advantage of me when I get really close to someone I seem to get more attracted to them so it hurts if they’ve manipulated me and then abandon me. However even if it is painful i love people too much so I won’t change my open personality

It hurts, but not as much as being manipulated or taken advantage of for a long time
And you shouldn't... i believe myself to be very similar. But the difference is im also super assertive so i tend to make people fear slighting me or manipulating me.
Like it would hurt their image to do that and i tend to have respect from a lot of people around me.
But the only relationship i have where someone continuously does manipulate me is with my mom because she is supremely narcissistic... id even go as far to say my life outlook has been negatively impacted by this actually. Its sad and i still try to find reasons not to out right be vitriolic about how she is like that with no regard of how her actions impact others. And its worst when you know my siblings and eveny dad would enable her all my life ... and gaslight me should i have mentioned something.
But the only reason they got away with all that is due to an inherent power imbalance ... but in every other avenue in life i tend to not have that with people and i dont allow people to have anything over me whether it be merit or emotions ... you cant let people have anything over you or they will take that power and manipulate. Unless of course you find a good person but thats not the common person sadly. People generally are terribly with some redeeming qualities ... its a sad reality we live in.
But i hope you font ever let anyone change you out of who you are ... being radically kind is a beautiful thing that others take for granted. Be the person that shows you can go through life without becoming morally corrupt.

I have them all! This also explains why I've gained a following for my passion for the animals I love that most don't. I'm taking my next big step in my goals of making educational videos and vlogs since people seem to like me. I always found it odd that people wanted to be around me or watch how I live and such. I've even had a couple of unsavory experiences with manipulative people that sought to gain an ego boost by getting me to care about them, but seeing this video definitely answered some questions!

Sorry but this is incredibly naive, according to this video I've been emotionally attractive my whole life but managed to get a stable relationship only after I lost 50 pounds or so. Yet cases of Jeremy Meeks and Cameron Herrin prove that if you are good looking enough you can even be seen as attractive despite literally being a criminal. Emotional attractiveness is important but it can't beat good looks.

I don't need everyone to tell me I'm attractive I just need to find the right one that sees beyond my appearance. I've definitely felt emotionally attracted to someone, but I didn't have a name for it at the time. They were just so genuine and exhuberant it spread to me, I kept thinking "I like them, but why?" I was confused because I'm not used to coming across someone who is attractive that way.
