It's not hard, it's just dedication and learning not to let your amygdala (primitive brain) hijack your frontal lobe and make you say or react in a way you will regret later. I was fortunate enough to marry a psychologist and learned about anger management for free. Just live by this Motto: "What other people think about you, is none of your business". Life is to short for anger a resentments, so make the best of it. Or take a course in NLP (Neuro linguistics programming). So don't worry and be happy 😊

@bigfitfrogalphaHitler was a sociopath, there is no cure for that. The video is talking about people who don't have a personality disorder. Sociopath, what you would consider a madman. He lacked empathy which a dificciency in some people like Narcissist and Psychopaths. I believe the video is in relation to give advise to sensitive people. Hitler you can google about his personality traits in another video, or read about it. But if you are not an avide reader then go the Google way for your info.

@bigfitfrogalpha What does XD stand for? Yo que no comprendo mucho ingles. Por lo tanto, los iniciales que haz esrito XD no tienen mucho significado para mi, ya que parecen numeros romano's (Roman Numerals) Ya que parece the year 490. Therefore, the right way to write it would be CDXC. 400 = CD + 90 XC. Is that AD or BC. Correct me if I am wrong.. Disculpa mi ignorancia, ya que no entiendo el idioma de Generacion Z. Bear with me please. 🙏

I used to bottle my feelings up a lot and so I'd have outbursts out of nowhere and be offended about nothing at all. I started journaling and reflecting about my day. I made sure to write how I really feel too. I now have much less outbursts and am not angry all the time anymore. I still get triggered about certain things but I am working to heal those. Here's to self-growth for everyone.

I struggled alot with arguing and wanting to get my point across especially when I felt I was in the right. But than I learned this instead of arguing just say "THANKS I'LL TAKE A LOOK AT IT" and say it as sincere as possible and nothing else. You'll see it works and even be blown away by how the person reacts that u say it to. Learning to say that and nothing more has made it clear to me people's intentions. I've had them realize I wasn't upset and than they try harder to argue to get u out of character showing there true colors. And all u continue to say is THANKS I'LL TAKE A LOOK AT IT. If u can learn to say just that you'll always be in control. And this for me is a proven thing that really works. You just gotta smile and tell em thanks I'll take a look at it..

Maybe someone already said this: do not be a victim of your past. No matter what it was that happened to you, try to tell yourself that you will not let it control you any longer. If you have someone to help you with this, it works even better. I helped my sister finally to stop doing this. Usual story-a rotten childhood. Sister 4 years older than me, so she took the brunt of the emotional & verbal abuse. She held onto those negative feelings for decades and it affected her attitude toward life. Yes, you could still think of yourself as broken; but as you hold on to this idea, years of your life are passing by while you let misery control you. You have to love yourself and think of all the positive aspects of your personality. Of course a therapist could help you along the way. Don’t let the weight of your misery hold you down. Think of it as a heavy boulder that you can toss away, so that you can feel a hundred lbs. lighter. And when you are lighter, walk on air to the next part of your life and never look back!

Socialisation and self care can impact on the way that you react. You will have to choose the right role models. If your parents were the types of parents to overreact, be concious that you aren't obliged to overreact like them. If you're the type of person who doesn't take breaks, lives too much in the past, and doesn't eat the right foods, try to change that. You have to become kinder to yourself and others. When you talk to someone and it turns into an argument, try to take pauses in between. You can leave the room to think about it more clearly. Try to reconsider if it's worth your energy, which can be used elsewhere. ( for example polishing your skills and increasing your knowledge.) Don't wait for peace in your environment; this will bring chaos in your mind. Try to become peaceful and resilient even in chaos. Try to build an interior peace; not an exterior peace.

Always ask myself "will this matter tomorrow? A week? A month? A year?
Will my reaction make it better or worse?
And if i do react , is it easy to take back? (Ex. Yell at my kid because he upsetted me. I can apologize and actively work on improving it before he's old enough for it to affect our relationship) OR (ex.2 if my reaction is to yell at my boss because I'm upset/overwhelmed. I will lose my job which spiral my life further out of control , and whatever it was didn’t even matter after the moment passed)

Number 5- finding a way to lower the stress level. I think and believe that a pet (for me,it's my pet French Bulldog) helps to achieve this in an amazing way. I used to get irked quite easily and it was causing me harm to my psychological and physiological health. Then I adopted Mishka,an adorable female Frenchie. Trust me,she acts like a sponge and soaks my tension and stress every single time. After a bad, tiring or unsuccessful day,I just come back home and spend time with her playing, talking and snuggling. After that,I feel as fresh as a daisy. The quality of my life has improved drastically.

I’ve delt with that same exact problem my whole life and im telling you im 25 now and i wasted most of my life trying to speak up more because they will NEVER change if they heard you the first time they would’ve made an effort to change the the better but you cant convince them if they’re still making you feel like you’re crazy. So please just keep ignoring them whatever you do dont match their energy because you’re not the crazy one remember, they are. And if anyone puts their hands on you for not reacting to their toxic behavior whether theyre family or not just call the cops on them and maybe theyll learn to leave you alone because you really dont have to tolerate crazy behavior trust me lots of kids are killed by their own parents because they feel like they cant call 911 on their parents but some people even your parents are just flat out insane and will end up taking your life if you dont tell the cops

This is nice, finding our roots really powerful way of understanding one's self. I am a reactive person until I get to know myself in a deeper level, study and accept yourself, my sister even told me start mothering yourself....we have to be very aware of how we react and interact in adulthood is a product of how we are raised and cared during childhood...So love, understand, study and accept yourself
Then improve for the better... Breathing is powerful tool to handle the day to day dynamics of people and situation that we face, back to our breath because Breath is one that God has gave us....we are form through Breath!!! Pray and.be thankful!!God bless us all

I think I'm watching this at the right time. Because someone's been provoking my anger , my boundaries and also make me worry about things I've never did (they comment on how I look, which I don't like even if it's positive or negative. Like I didn't care till they kept on saying stuffs). I'm practically the verge of snapping at them. I was like "the next time they comment I'm going full on rage" .

I know why I’m feeling what I’m feeling is I’ve just educated myself on narcissism and I’m realizing that for most of my life I’ve been mentally abused and conditioned that I deserve to be treated that way because I was the escape goat. Some of my abusers have passed away so I can’t confront them and even if they were alive most likely they would deny any wrongdoing, which is what the still living people in my life would do. I understand other peoples frustration after having been abused and the abusers just get to walk away while the rest of us have to get help in order to work through our issues. I get folks but in order to move forward getting help is the only way we can work on changing our own lives and to be healthy. Those abusers are going to walk through life in denial without making any changes but we don’t have to, we are empaths and we can still reach out to give real love because that is who we are 👍💪💪💪✡️✡️✡️

@@noemarie8 how do people respond when you start crying? Are you given the opportunity to let them know that they just disrespected you. I usually keep what’s called a poker face when I recognize that someone is being disrespectful to me or insulting. If I give it away I’m met with a smirk meaning “I got ya”. The last intimate relationship I had the guy finally pushed the ultimate button on me and I let him have it as food went flying in his car, only because I missed his face. I told him later over the phone that it wasn’t about the girl. It was because I came to the realization that he hurt my dog so actually he should count himself lucky that food was all he got. My little dog has sense passed away and I’m having to deal with a lot now. She never did anything to anyone to deserve what the two narcissists did to her, she was just a little dog full of love for everyone but what a perfect form of supply for these insane creatures. I stopped her a couple of times trying to kill a mouse while her cat friend egged her on. I never wanted her to get a feel for that even though she was the perfect breed that’s used for flushing out vermin. I miss her every day 😢💔

I used to never handle my emotions well and reacted in destructive ways. One of the things I did was alcohol and drugs to escape my problems and it never solved anything and created more problems. Because my addiction caused me problems I got treatment and therapy and it helped me solve my problems and made me happier. I processed through these things and worked through them. Another thing was my resentments and built up anger. I realized when I was told that resentments only hurt you. I realized that these people will get their karma if they don't change and if they do good for them. I learned to not have ill will towards people because I wouldn't want that for anyone and they would get karma anyways. Plus I saw my part and it helped me to change. It's a healing process and worth it.

Me personally, I only have 3 habits in dealing with things like this. I am the type of person who doesn't want to argue, and I really hate annoying arguments the most.
1st. Determining if the argument/subject at hand is worth it, or not. If it does makes sense or not. If it's worth my saliva and time or not.
2nd. Deep breaths. Really, really deep breaths. It helps me calm down.
3rd. Ignore. Having the mindset of "talk to my hand" is always handy for me.
If they all passed this 3 practices I have, then they need to get ready for my faulty mouth. Sure, I don't like to be physical but my mouth can do all things. Can say all nasty things if you really get to my nerves. I have a high self control whenever I'm getting angry because I know myself very well. It already happened once, and nobody liked it even I, but I have no regrets. They really pissed me off that time.
When I got angry, big time. My foul mouth can be the very very most nasty thing in the world. There's no break in my mouth. Everyone will get hurt. Everyone who's included to my anger, whether they're present in that situation or not. Trust me when I say this. I'm not a humble person either. So if I say it, it's true.
But as much as possible, I don't want to do it. I don't want to hurt people. If I can knock some sense in them withoyt hurting them with my words, I will. I am also a very frank person. So yeah. Just sharing.

I find i get very frustrated, hurt and even angry when i am putting effort into trying to show understanding and empathy twds the other in a disagreement or conflict but they refuse to do the same and hold to only seeing their side of things. I'm now coming to realise that instead of going in frustrating and painful cycle of continuing to reach for shared understanding and empathy, i just end the cycle by saying, i don't feel I'm being heard or understood here, fullstop. It then puts it bck to the other to reflect/or not..on why i don't feel heard or understood and raise questions and clarification (placing them in an energy of wanting to understand)

To be clear, I am not pointing the finger at the creator, but in many cases, people have legitimate reasons to be angry. Personally, I have been told to withdraw my anger many times, when only it turned out it was legitimate; for once, I was so injured that I went to ICU, and I am still trying to be nice. Later on, I find that keeping the anger in only makes it build up more and more.
