Avoiding social media in general is a good idea. It can be used to do positive things (I was able to reconnect with old classmates, encourage people with things and get encouragement as well, share daily thankful posts, etc.) but it also can start drama and can get hurt self esteem. It's easy to see a picture of someone who appears to be having a good time and think their life is great but than you realize that they are struggling and it is all just an image.
I totally agree! I used to devote myself watching my favorite UA-camrs before without taking care of myself like improving my skills, my sleep schedule, and my mental health . Now I just feel at ease Now that I don't use social media. I still use it, but now I recognize when I should stop earlier now.

But in social media i just see pages where some good quotes gaming clips and memes and i dont think it's gonna distract me that way but its distracting me in the morning like the thing i want to do it distracts me

Just remember, nobody is responsible for your happiness but you and you alone. If you feel things are getting too much or you're always beating yourself up over everything, ask yourself why and is it really worth feeling sad over?
I've learned recently that it is much better if you learn to retrain your subconscious mind into having a "can do" and "how can I get to where I'm going" outlook instead of the dream killing "I can't" or "it's impossible" view on things which, fun fact, instantly shuts down your mind and kills any spark for ideas or creativity to come into being but instead by telling yourself "I can" and asking yourself how you will get there, your brain starts working and coming up with solutions and you'll find that this simple shift in mindset will greatly boost your mood and feeling much better in yourself as result. And trust me this is from experience I'm speaking as I was the worst for beating myself up over the most stupid things that were inconsequential.
And if you think something is impossible, my advice is not to look at the thing as a whole, but instead break it down into stages, kinda like a video game or project. That way, it won't overwhelm you and cause your subconscious mind to go on a rampage and stop you from pursuing it. Hope this is of some bit of help to any of you, and have a great weekend folks!
And one more thing, tell yourself every morning when you wake up "I can do this" and see how much that simple phrase will boost you for the day ahead. Cheesy I know, but I'm learning a little late in life to not be so serious and to not treat life as a race, but a marathon. Its too short to be down and gloomy and you'd be surprised how quickly you can turn things around! Focus on you, don't beat yourself up and be proud of yourself and not afraid to tell yourself that you're doing good! Look after number 1, and things will definitely improve for you!

@@SN-vn6wb anytime! I can relate to that honestly! I would always and I mean ALWAYS over analyze every single detail of a task into oblivion and make little to no progress by doing so. I've learned to trust the process now and have faith in things working out, especially if you have a mentor or someone you can trust to help you with whatever it is you're trying to achieve or complete. There will never be a right time and all that matters is what you do right now in the present moment and forget about the notion of "later" or "tomorrow" because by the time tomorrow comes, its still going to be the present moment for you right?
Have an abundance mindset and make use of the Laws of Satisfaction and Gratitude, which is filling yourself with the feeling of already having what it is you seek and through this feeling, what it is you seek will come to you faster as you have that feeling in your conscious being and your subconscious will align to it. You know what you are after, all that's left to do is get it and the ways of doing so will open up to you because of your choice to embrace the Law of Satisfaction and Gratitude.
I highly recommend the book Feel Free to Prosper by Marilyn Jenett if you want more on this as I have been using her principles and am getting results! You'll do great, just keep believing that you are capable of anything and have a can do attitude to anything that you encounter in life! 😁

Realising it is the first step and from there a plan of action can be made to address it and you've already solved part of it by acknowledging that it's there so well done on that😁👏

No social media in the morning is very important but I would more likely say it would be better to be no SCREEN in the morning. In my personal experience whenever I saw screen in the morning I had a bad day and did not feel quite good.

Oh I recommend not using social media first thing in the morning. I used to wake up with it, now I only use it late in the day. It's such a positive change in my life, I love it!

Starting this habit is the hardest part. Once you start though, improvement in your overall mood in the morning happens pretty quickly and that reinforces the habit. Habits like this that have their own built in positive feedback loop are great!

I’ve only just at the age of 28 stopped treating others how they want to be treated with help from my fiancé. I I’ve helped him stop doing it too. We’re both people pleasers because of our past and have been used immensely for our adaptability and kindness. It’s best to have a healthy mix of treating others how they want to be treated AND how you want to be treated!
I’m always so mad at my parents for being overly strict, but I’m extremely happy that they have been making sure I stay away from social media, because after seeing how it destroyed my older sister, I’m more than happy to avoid it

The habit that turned me into a WINNER from a sour loser is drawing something after waking up . Now I feel like I can accomplish anything I want for the whole day. Everyone should try something creative every once in a while because it is the smallest changes that make a difference.

I've recommended this channel to my mom. We both have a lot to work on.
Treating people they way THEY want to be treated has been a staple for me in my recovery. The way I want to be treated differs from day to day and from person to person. Therefore I do my best to read social cues and pick up on emotional IQ. Some people just want to be encouraged and some people just want to heard, some people need deep emotional stability and some just like surface level fluff. Learning how to treat people the way they want to be treated also allows me to see how deep of a relationship I'm willing to go with them. Alot of acquaintances are surface level, how are you, nice to see you kind of people. True friends are deep, honest, sincere and worthy and I learn who's who by learning how you want to be treated.

I wanted to have a life-changing habit but when it said
''sleep early'' I was speechless''..
I think, the online academic sessions are more tiring than physical classes.
That's the main cause of my everyday Exhaustion and Pressure
Now, I feel that I almost lost my hobbies
oh my goodness SAME!, i usually do diy crafts, cardboard scale models, learning basic soldering and electronics etc., but now, im just...idk existing and waiting for school, now school is just 2 days from now, im nervous meeting this damn new people again forcing myself to do the thing that i really hate, putting my face on camera, im confused, im worried, im just exhausted, all i can do is watch youtube and play 2 games to somehow ease myself...i dont seek pity on the internet, its not helpful but...i really wish i could just idk...stop all of these issues going on, like a button that can turn off all of this crap in my life that i dont need. im tired, and here i am venting again on a random comment tryna escape everything hoping it'll solve itself...i want some cheese

Idk if my Daily routine is healthy but ill share it : I wake up and go up to brush my hair and go downstairs to drink some water and eat breakfast. I kinda try to plan my day if im to make a edit or draw which is always my happy escape because ever since i started making art and editing it gave a serious boost in my self esteem.

The first step is a huge good changing habit I swear
I hate my school.
I'm not very social and as always people socialize in the hallways. I mean, I'd like to socialize but I think they think I'm a weirdo because I'm very often on my own. I'm terrified of other students. What if they reject me? What if they ignore me? What if they'll think bad stuff about me? I already made one person mad and my brain constantly reminds me of that. That person often stares at me and I know they dislike me, a lot. But I'm glad I have at least 1 friend, not my classmate unfortunately
My classroom is not small but definitely not big enough to fit 20 people. We have to squeeze through others to get out. It's not comfortable
I know that feeling, I was literally same in the younger classes and I always wanted to finish school, it did help to concentrate only on me and my goals and I had to do at that exact point. Don´t overthink you should start thinking that no one is worth trying if they reject or ignore you or even think bad about you because everyone is great in a own way and at this age no one knows how different people can be inside or rather are self centered
I used to be impatient about things that take time. After watching "I've been killing slime for 300 years and maxed out my level", I kinda try to live my life as slow as possible. One thing at a time

The only reason I treat people differently then I wanted to be treated is because I'm not going to tease someone as much as I may someone else or I just talk to them differently and they understand it because thats how it works.

Proud to say I’m doing most of it (I’m working on sleeping early tho😆). I don’t look social media right away in the morning instead I finish everything then I watch video on yt and usually listen to TEDXTalks. I think it depends on how you handle social media. I, personally, don’t get envious of others and never felt the need to compare myself to them. I have my own life🥰

I would add another point to this: Exercise daily. I started yoga not long ago, it really helps me get through my panic attacks. Not exercising daily was the biggest mistake i‘ve made, not just it affected my physical health but more to my mental health
