Im in therapy because of that! It will be different for every person, but for me, i tend to run away from things (people) that make me happy or don't accept it when someone does something nice for me. Internally, my brain thinks i don't deserve good things and if something goes well for a time something bad must be coming up. But this is not true - i deserve good things happening to me just because i exist, the sole existence of me is enough. I am enough. I need to stop sabotaging myself. This will be different for everyone but i truly encourage you to go to therapy and discover your own though process - there is nothing more liberating than understanding why you are feeling a certain way and why it might not always be correct.
