    I'm not always able to do the back bends. Perhaps I'm not placing the blocks properly, though I've tried many variations. Where exactly am I supposed to be placing it? Lower on my back, or between the shoulder blades? Maybe I just haven't found the sweet spot yet lol

      They should be between your shoulder blades (upper back area). Start with one block. You can do it horizontally or vertically.
      You can try to position a second block on your mat so that when you lie down, it will support the base of your skull. The height of this block can also be adjusted based on your comfort.
      The block across your shoulder blades should provide a gentle lift to your upper back, encouraging your chest to open (wonderful for the lumo thoracic region). The block under your head should support the base of your skull, allowing your neck to relax.
      If the stretch is too intense, try lowering the height of the blocks or use pillows or use a folded blanket or towel over the blocks for added comfort.
      Always listen to your body and adjust as needed to avoid pain or strain.

I had the block too low, below my shoulder blades (lower back area) so I will try it again. I have some tightness between my shoulder blades so it wasn't comfortable in that position. Will try again. 🙂

      Maybe try a blanket or towel on the blocks or even place a pillow on top of them.
