I'm blown away AGAIN by Larian studios. The fact that kisses aren't lustful but loving makes it far better to see as it looks pretty but also it stays True to the companions. Almost all of them want love and commitment. Well done Larian studios👏👏👏👏👏
Well now waiting for the addition of a hug animation for Karlach after killing Gortash. And that our hero stands and does nothing when you are in a relationship with her, and she is morally broken at that moment. It's not right.

Pally :) It's more RP-driven than anything. Draconic bloodline sorc (white dragon) as an homage to the default durge, and then oathbreaker for most of the game until reclaiming Oath of the Ancients oath.
I heard the kisses are randominzed. So each comnpanion has several animations now. It's just lucky or unlucky, which you get I just didn't dare to install the patch yet due to the merchant bugs. Vendors are too import to miss out on them. Are the issues really so bad?
Unfortunately, I can't give a reliable answer. I haven't actually played the game yet. I just really wanted to see the new kisses, haha. I didn't even know there was a merchant bug. What's the bug doing? And yup, each companion has four kisses now, it looks like. I think Astarion has an extra one depending on his how his personal quest ends, but that's just what I hear. I can only confirm Karlach's, and they're randomized. I got lucky and I got all four unique kisses in a row.
I'm on ps5 and the vendors work, but you need to wait a minute for their wares and money to load properly. Also, if you're romancing lae'zel with a tall female the kisses are bugged and Tav will just be kissing air. I cried from laughing so hard but I still hope they fix it soon. I haven't played much but those are the only issues I've encountered so far. Shadowheart's new animations are super cute btw
@@justanotherignot I heard various effects, from impossibly long loading times, over the game crashing if you kill a hostile vendor up to camp chest being wiped empty. Vendors are too important for many things to just avoid them
@@MoonsongReverb That's definitely concerning. I'd say if you really want to update your game, start a new playthrough to be safe, and definitely back it up, especially if you have modded saves. My existing modded saves didn't have the new kisses, so I had to start a new playthrough to make this video.
