@@pixxie643 Honestly, I feel like Astarion probably wouldn't be able to deal with being touched right then either. Maybe in a coversation afterwards though. I'd love an option to hug your companion whenever just like how you can kiss them.
@@tinyfreckle I wasn't really thinking of a full on hug tbh, but I wish you could at least approach him or put your hand on his shoulder or something instead of just standing there awkwardly while he breaks down. Also I 100% agree with you on the hugging companions thing, I wish the friendships were given as much attention in the game as the romances.
Love how Tav embrace her by default if her parents are alive. And there people saying this isn't the best choice. At this point I even want the choice to hug all three of them at the same time at the end 😂
The way the game presents it, saving her parents is the right choice to get the ending where she is happiest. In extended lore however, saving her parents condems her to an eternity of pain and suffering after her death. It doesn't matter that the pain bursts from her curse happen less and less, in the end she'll suffer a form of hell forever, her soul claimed by Shar. Sacrificing her parents ensures they'll see each other again in some form, in Selûne's embrace. I'm kinda disappointed how the game glances over that, but hey, at least she is at peace if her parents die.
Her parents died in my first run and I was worried that I’d missed something during this scene, because it felt wrong to just stand there and watch her crying, especially since we were in a relationship at this point
FINALLY SHADOWBAE CAN BE HUGGED! Hope we can hug her even if we don't romance her. Now Larian just needs to let us offer a hug to Karlach and Lae'zel when they are going through their big moment.
Can you hug her without a romance? I should be getting close to this in my current run, and I'm hoping I can just be a good friend and hug her without the strings attached.

I did both choices in two seperate playthroughs, and she 100% seems happier if you keep her parents alive
