Baldemort is super underrated, the dude's voice is ear candy
I want baldemort to be the narrator of my life, no matter what i do at least it will sound profound.
Dude and all his lore that he writes is head and shoulders above anyone else, his story's are fucking amazing. His telling of how Rogal Dorn found the Emperor almost dead after his fight with Horus (call the longest second) about how Rogal's primarch brain would have allowed him to basically relive what had happened in his absence pretty much had me weeping like a small tired and hungry little girl.
I can't believe I haven't discovered him myself but extremely glad that I have done so now. Truely God tier voice
Yes.. Venerable librarian among other hammertubers..
I subscribed after first sentence because of the voice. For me he is second only to actor that voiced Regis in Polish language voice-over in Witcher 3: Blood and Wine.
This guy needs a job at the BBC narrating documentaries on the wars of Antiquity. Bravo.
Rather be doing this. ;).
@@baldermort true the BBC is awful
He can do better than the BBC this mans a true legend of terror 😳😋👌🏼
I think we can all appreciate the sentiment, but the BBC would be a serious downgrade and a waste of Baldermort's talents.
Now if the was a way to create a perfect clone of Baldermort and get him to narrate documentaries or other stuff.
Anyone know how to contact Fabulous Bill?
The voice itself is good but articulation isn't as clear as regular host's.
I like the idea that the cursed founding was Cawl's first attempt at seeing if traitor gene seed could be ‘fixed’.
Hmmm... large astartes with a penchant for secrecy and little record of engagements? Sounds like some alpha bois to me
Alpha over Death Guard any day.
I am Alpharius
This is what I was screaming the whole time. Hydra Dominatus brother.
I AM ALPHARIUS
Yeah, this is alpha level of shady stuff!
I like the idea that they're a stepping stone towards the primaris or a mix of thunder warrior and astartes methods of production, a throw back to a bygone era.
Or they are primaries marines undergoing field testing.
@@Mike5Brown Are the Primaris on average as big as the Sons of Antaeus? I thought the Primaris were just enhancements to the implanted new organs. Any info is appreciated.
Death Guard loyalists perhaps who were tinkered with to ensure loyalty by the mechanicus?
wouldnt be odd at all, the silver skulls are loyalist Iron Warriors
Alpha legion successors
@@PeachDragon_ eh possible, they were big for astartese and the hydra twins were short. Plus…. The raptor project data.
"We were Primaris Marines before it was cool"
I had not heard of Baldermort... But now I think I have many hours of content ahead of me...
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I was just listening Chaos ssf.
Clearly a hidden alpha legion successor "adopted" by row boats blue crew... like all other secret traitor seed chapters.
To be fair, the alpha legion legionnaires were noted to be among the tallest of all the legions. So not saying its the hydra bois... *but*
Thank you brother. I did enjoy doing the chaos one. :).
@@baldermort that "making a friend" section is savage, in a sly and creepy way. Just close enough to how you imagine some real people could be.
Praise the Emperor! A collaboration between 2 of my favorite 40k lore content creators.
A pity Baldermort had no character to play.
No character to play Yet!
To qoute...
I am in awe at the size of these lads, **ABSOLUTE UNITS**
As Kirioth would say...
G I R T H
Look at the muscularity
So if they'll have Primaris marines, would they'll be even taller?
One chapter of Extra Beefy Primaris coming right up
An interesting question for sure.
Near custodes size marines.. but still nowhere close to the gloriously oiled golden bananas.
Now i just have an image of their Primaris marines being as big as Guilliman
They do have them, and yes they are.
I'm inclined to say that they are an experiment for Primaris...perhaps Cawl took some Deathguard mojo, created a prototype, kept perfecting it and tadaaa Primaris...
Happy to see Balder working with other 40k content creators.
That voice needs to be as far spread as possible.
His Gothic is heavily accented, with a very clear vowel shift. What's his homeworld?
*Stares at the VA.*
"... You're not dino-face."
"No,for I am Baldemort,your faithful servant :)"
Imagine a Primaris chapter using the chimeric gene-seed of the Iron Warriors and the Death Guard as its base.
Their primaris would make any other primaris look small
Alpha legion and death gaurd would be ideal for size
Baldemort, 40k theories, luetin. These guys are the Kings of 40k lore narration. Fantastic content, I've learnt so much over the last few years
@Abe Froman you know what, I think his comic style doesn't suit the grimdark setting of 40k I I find him funny but when I want to hear about 40k lore I don't want to hear jokes about how slow the terminators are. Just my opinion of course. .
This guy has done the best VO you guys have ever had! :)
Check his channel BaldimordsGuides
Yeesss!! baldermort coolest narrator and lore reader and the 40 k theory the best 40k theorist and lore reader
Good ol Baldy and Rem go together better than a chain axe meeting a skull.
Extra big astartes? Sounds like they might be sons of Alpharius
Hydra dominatus
makes sense initialy everyone think death guard but people forget when the alpha legion poisoned the the raven guard's raptor project (astartes made created by corvus in which neophytes were more powerful physically then istavaan veterans) they stole the technology for themselves
Antaeus Dominatus.
@@sergio9669 No, even before that the Alpha Legion had been taller than other legionaries
By The Omnissiah! another collaboration of another warhammer youtuber?! How rare can that be!?
No memes, but I do think the alpha legion is a pretty good idea since their astartes are lager than the typical ones. As stated, they rarely appear on mass, and exit the battle as quickly as they enter it. They also showed up unexpectedly. Though the most possible one is the fact that its either mutated, or just another example of the cursed founding. Prototype primaris marines does sound like a sick idea though.
The fact that you've even had this idea proves it is not Alpha Legion.
Alpha legionares arent bigger than other space marines. Its that their primarchs are just shorter
Baldy for the Guest Host!
Blood for the Blood God!
Skulls for the Skull Thrown!
Farts for the Inquisition!
Comments for the Algorithm!
With regards to their service in the Deathwatch, if I remember correctly apothecaries who join take extreme vows to honor the secrets of their patients regardless of what chapter they hail from. Deathwatch service is one of the only times that apothecaries are required to routinely inspect and handle gene-seed vastly different from their own, and if the vows weren't taken I doubt that most chapters would send anyone to join (even if they didn't have anything to hide, gene-seed is precious after all). Chapters like the Blood Angels or Black Dragons don't exactly advertise the flaws in their gene-seed, and the cat would be out of the bag real quick if an apothecary did a routine analysis (not to mention those in service as Black Shields who refuse to state where they came from). So if the Sons of Antaeus were the first trial run of Primaris, having extra organs would not be a deal breaker as the Deathwatch apothecary takes patient confidentiality very seriously.
Astartes of unusual size? I'm afraid that they don't exist.
Ahaha! As you wish!
If 40K theories ever gets really really drunk. He'll invite MajorKill over to narrate one of his videos.
I would watch the hell out of that video...
I loved this Crossover, thank you so much 40k Theories for having Baldermort on!
I love the fact that you guys are humble enough to work together, Thank You 40K, Yhank You Baldermort!!
fancy seeing uncle baldermort here
A dream realised. :).
Greetings Good Storyteller! So kind of you to pay us a visit! As for the Sons? Simple. They eat their spinach!
Magnificent to be invited by Rem. ;)
Or they eat other space marines
Wooooot Uncle Baldy always sounds so good teaching us the lore
Baldermort! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 the emperor’s chosen narrator 😋😎👍
Baldermort or Remleiz posts? I immediately watch.
Yay! Great to hear Baldermort on 40k theories!
Ahh yes... Balders never fails to please. What a lovely surprise this monday
is anyone else imagining original art with a certain crocodile headed tech priest putting a servo skull in a stasis jar?
I always thought it was a more dinosaur like. Yes that's exactly what i was thinking. "Tell me servoskull what notions have you gathered on the Sons of Anteus?" *translated from binaric chant*
Good stuff! Although hearing "Aeldary" is a bit weird
Not sure if it's "correct" but I enjoy this speaker's pronunciation of 'Eldari'. A very talented voice artist
Baldermort is truelly one of my most favorite personalities in the industry. Absolutly love and appreciate his contribution to our hobby. Well done sir.
It would be cool as f and mind blowing if they are sons of one of lost primarchs.
The 2nd
Cawls been secretly releasing lost legion organs in order to fill the numbers lost by the original 9
By the throne it's the floating skull himself Baltermort
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
did not expect to hear the faithful servant here. pleasant surprise indeed
Oooh boy Monday with Baldermort :D
Any video that has Baldermort AND 40k Theories deserves an automatic like
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'd love if it turns out that they've always just been primaris marines
They could also be from the Alpha Legion geneseed. That would explain his bigger size and also their...secretive behaviour (but this doesn't explain their resilance)
baldermort going from a small channel to collabing with 40k Theories makes me happy
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hearing Baldermort reading Remleiz' makes me wonder if Rems will sound like this when he's old and gray? Nice job on the video Baldermort, love hearing you in videos.
Could the death guard geneseed or iron warriors genessed have been used as a base for which to test the primaris process due to their geenseed being resilient?
A chimeric geneseed of the two?
Thank you so much for givng Baldermort some love. Best voice on youtube.

YES. I'm so happy to see you guys collaborating.
Great video my dudes!
I come in the name of the Bald Father of Lore and his immaculate voice!
Excellent collaboration, some of my favorite 40k youtubers working together, yes.
Love this Chapter and LOVE BALDEMORT!!!! GW needs to go have him to a few audio dramas. I would love hearing him in The Emporer’s Gift
Brother Baldermort AND 40k theories?! What an awesome start to my day!

@@baldermort Love it Sir:)
Great work guys.
Thank you!!! ;)
@@baldermort I love both the lore work both you and 40k theories do for us, thank you for it all
One option not mentioned is their recruitment pool. The Flesh Tearers have larger marines from one location/tribe on their homeworld.
A homeworld with a gravity somewhere between Terra and Ogryn Homeworlds could theoretically create a larger/tougher aspirant.
Just a thought.
I'm mean it being a death world probably helps as well.
You are a long way from home Baldy.... I love to see collaboration between two of my favorites!
By invite old chap. :)
LORECEPTION! BALDEMORT in 40K Theories!! Yeaaahhhhh!!! I love the guy, this collab is AWESEOME!!!
Two of my favourite 40k content creators! I love it. Thank you.
Uhhhu Remleiz I think you’ve a few Servo Skulls with vocalizers loose in your archives. May want to look into that.
This is the dream that came true. Subbed to you two waaaay before you collabed waiting for this to happen. HERE IT IS. GLORIOUS!
Aren't they marines that are theorized to be the sons of Omegon? I swear you did a video on th- HOLY BALDY ITS A COLLAB. I didn't even see that In the title, just insta clicked the notification
Ahhhhh I love his stuff. Lore Master crossover! Awesome as fuck. Emperor bless ya both.
You might be confusing them with the Sons of Orar in that regard ;)
@@40KTheories oh yes you're right. These guys are from the 21st cursed founding. I remember them now, they had very little info on them in universe from what I remember, at least compared to some other chapters.
Freaking space marines and calling themselves the sons of whatever.
Honestly the lack of information is fitting for an alpha legion successor chapter.
This is a joke obviously (annoying a person has to clarify sometimes)
Thank you. Felt great to read out real lore for a change. Rem is THE loremaster. :)
@@baldermort you are both The Lore Masters in my eyes ^-^
Hey 40k theories!
I remember that you once had a similar 0:47 note on a video about the Shadowguard of the Custodian Guard, if i remember correctly.
I found the offical color scheme: it‘s in the Citadel Color App for Smartphones.
I haven't used such a note for the Custodes, though I did use it for the Flame Falcons.
Thank you in either case :)
@@40KTheories oh yeah i remember now! :D
Np. I have to thank you ;)
Uncle Bald needs to work on his "watchuuuuuung"s xD
Baldermort has the very voice of an Astartes. He does narratives along with informative lore. You should probably be watching him.
His Iron Warrior Captain impression is some of my favourite 40k lore ever. He gives the Iron Warriors this dark bravado that really gives them an identity all their own
Clicks video, expecting to hear 40K theories voice.
Hears Baldermort instead
"Goodness gracious me! Practically jumped out of my skin with glee"
Could be left over thunder warrior gene making them bigger then normal.
Calling it here (and if I was to ever write for Black Library, this would be the story)-Loyalist Death Guard/Iron Hands chimera gene seed (with a little bit of Dark Angels) from the Horus Heresy, who have been working with the AdMech and Custodies as one of the prototype Primaris Marines concepts. They're also secretly a number of the other Chapters in the area and will sometimes wear the markings of a number of notational "chapters." This is to maintain continuity of experience and training, test out new equipment, and keep the exact nature of the Sons of Antaeus a secret. And, for a second reason.
The few that know call the Sons of Anteus "the last Imperial Legion" and this is very true. If it ever becomes necessary, the various units will form in on the Sons and become a Legion again in truth-at least fifteen thousand Astartes, and the equipment to match. Including stored and upgraded equipment from the Heresy era needed for massed units of the Astartes, like Spartan Assault Tanks and Mastodon transports.
Hello Faithful servo-skull.
Community question, is it still up for debate that these are Alpha Legion stock? Especially as they are clearly the largest Marines. Even the secrecy of their records is evidence to me.
Whoever is doing the narration? I love that voice! Love the channel and the lore man, keep it up, but stay healthy and take breaks. Thanks!
Narrator is Baldemort, our faithful servant.
@@JasonM69 awesome! I've seen some of his content pop up on searches, so I'll def be checking him out now! Being from the states myself, the accents really lend themselves to immersion within the lore.
Clicked the second I saw baldemort's name man's got a voice that should be on every 40k E-book
Had to do a double take when I heard Baldemort's voice. Got me confused dlr a while.
Me too
But it was a pleasant suprise

Son of Anteus chapter: I'm the biggest astartes
Black Dragon: are you sure about that?
Lol!!’
Tyberos the Red Wake wants your location. Lol
@@stewardgilbert8823 isn't tyberios taller than custodes?
@@PeachDragon_ yes but only the shortest among them .
No one know how tall Tyberos really is but in badab war when they have council meeting & all imperial forces send their representatives, the admech though Tyberos an giants statue until he moves & that's make the admech shock, meanwhile the average black dragon stood as 9-13f talls & the dragon claws" (its similar to death company) has mutated astartes that's make dreadnought looks like a toys...

Great to see two of my faves collab!
Could be an alpha legion chapter since they were both taller than average and their primarchs shorter than average
Lovely video! My call? Death Guard Geneseed used by Cawl to field test the Primaris
Wow remleiz is getting really good at these impressions
I feel like these guys are alpga legion, alpha legion space marines were larger so their primarchs could blend in, and they love fucking with history, with the seeming fixation on joining deathwatch, it seems like the whole point of this chapter is for alpha legion to infiltrate the deathwatch
Payback against the Cabal for tricking Alpharius...
Big? Sneaky?
Thoudsand sons
Surprised by the voice of the host! Surprised in a good way that is. Now, about the content of the video itself, could it be possible that they used gene seed from the XX Legion, as they are known to be larger than the average Space Marine (and their Primarchs shorter than their brothers)? Or perhaps they are an all infiltrated Chapter by the sons of the hydra XD
:o it is he! The legend! The Servo Skull extraordinare himself! It is Baldermorte, greatest of 40k story tellers and he who wishes all to try make time, for FUN! love the surprise of hearing that great voice open this one. It seems the inquisition knows a good servo skull when they see one! Eeeeeeeeeend Quote!!
The idea that the Sons of Antaeus are the data collection test bed for the Primaris Project makes a lot of sense, also with the scrubbing of their battlefield records contributing to that idea.
Ft. Baldermort
Came running~!
One thing that scraps the Primaris theory is that the Primaris marine fluff was made up 5 minutes after the models were released while Sons of Antaeus are from a long lost time when GW just gave us concepts to expand on our own.
So true it hurts.
Bravo mr. Baldermort! Nice collab :-)
