@@stuntman083 I've seen a list from one of the Agents index-era players and it had no knights, no sisters and no grey knights, only 2 deathwatch kill teams and the rest pure agents units. Playing them is going to be very skill testing though, new players to the faction are going to get crushed in their early games. People need to stop looking at the xenos units since those have been hashed to death already and start analyzing the malleus and hereticus ones as well as the general units.
Becasue they dont sell well in they eyes but there is one problem. Any unit that anyone bought from primaris line could be DW unit... so I think they just make bad decision
@@oli9720 my friend just started collecting deathwatch and now his army is dead part of his stuff is legends or gone the primaris stuff cant be run with imperial agents so basically he wasted money and for will likely not buy anything else for this reason.
I mean "tyranids" wipes out the space dwarves. Was literally a thing GW did to remove an entire faction. Why would anyone be surprised with what GW does?¿
As one of the people who was actually excited to get the Imperial Agents codex (Inquisition, Arbetes and Voidsmen are my second largest unit collection) it’s nice to see this played.
I was hesitant but they just got wrecked by GSC over 20 points. And that was previously the worst army in the game. So I’m extra hesitant now. I don’t mind playing weaker armies it’s a lot of money for the book too if it’s truly unusable. And then it will be outdated if they do major changes to how they work

Deathwatch optimal loadout in 10th Edition. 5 man: 2 Thunder Hammers, 1 Frag Cannon, 1 Infernus Bolter, Sargent with phase blade and storm shield. 10 man: 4 Thunder Hammers, 2 Frag, 2 Infernus, same Sarge, 1 veteran with power sword and storm shield. Objectively the most damage output possible with some added durability.
New to the channel, love the game guys. From a viewer perspective, would you be able to get a free cam that you guys can do close ups of the models during the match, or as you move them etc. From a distance it can be harder to visualise what is going on, and in this instance the top down camera is great, but with a lot if the models and terrain all being gray it is hard to distinguish what is what exactly. The close up cam would just the viewer follow on and be deeper into the battle Just a little feed back for you guys, keep up the good work.
As a new 40K fan, I was playing Combat Patrol (Grey Knights and Drukhari), and then got excited when the Agents codex got announced… mostly because I like the “idea” or aesthetic of playing the Inquisition… So I still might… But it does seem like a strange batch of rules. Maybe I’ll just build and hope for changes or rebalancing.
I think agents works better with immolator and chimera spam full of cheap melta spam. at 2000pts i can fit in something like 14 multi meltas plus 3 Armiger Warglaives with melta and 20ish units. Flood the field with +1OC and 5++ no deathwatch, no termis. too expensive.
Removing deathwatch terminators is especially dumb imo. Like if you dont want kill teams sure.... but give us 1 dw terminator datasheet at least so we can use the models we have built that you made shoulder pads for in the upgrade sprue!!!
AOTI was carried by canis and the GSC list wasn't top of the meta in my opinion. . SPOILERS BELOW . . But still the expected outcome, AOTI lost harshly. This codex is a joke and they have to drop the points HEAVILY to make this even remotely playable. Not even starting to talk about the lore fauxpas of bringing grey knights and anything else, that would have to be executed or mind wiped afterwards (besides inquisitors and their inquisitorial agents).
It's not that bad of a codex. I play agents and am very happy with it as per leaks. It is not an overpowered codex. People's mindsets of building the army is incorrect.
i hate this codex it litrally just got rid of my friends army when I just got him to start a year or so ago. Cant take dreadnoughts and most deathwatch primaris stuff doesnt even exist.
I think talking allied knights is the only way to competitively play them. But That's lore accurate anyway

I think if they gave agents an army rule like dark pact they could really punch up and the lethals may help with heavy damage.
