Great game. Scan really blew it with that drop at 25:40. Seems like he hesitated because he thought there might be lurkers. If he drops them behind the mineral line I think the game ends

At 31:05 (ingame time) you move the camera away from Scan attacking the Zerg mineral base to highlight something that you could have done after the battle. Please keep the camera on the battle if one is going on.

I wonder if Scan realized that he never got infantry armor 3. I can't see the logic in skipping that upgrade, but maybe there was a good reason to skip it on purpose. But it seems like it might have just been a mistake. Usually Terrans fully upgrade their infantry in positions like this.
probably just forgot. its common since normally +1 armor starts at the same time as +2 attack. once you have +3 attack started you kind of ignore upgrades and just focus on macro and moving your army around.

I felt secondhand frustration for Scan, those lurker + dark swarm pushes are absolute BS, lose everything to a couple lurkers a 1 defiler feels bad. His perseverance and knowledge that Zerg will soon run dry is truly admirable, masterclass of a game by both players.

Nice cast and games. It'd be interesting if there was a counter for gas/min value of units destroyed in the last minute or something like that, for each player. So we could get an idea which players are very economical and when there's a really nice valuable move pulled off. Would be very insightful. I feel like a lot of TvZ and PvZ is decided by retention of units between battles.

I consider that non-terran races have better counters to key tactics. Dark Swarm and Scourge, regarding Zerg's features are just damn powerful, besides Protoss' Electric Storm and Arbiter's recall

FLYING TERRAN BUILDINGS CAN BE PLAGUED??? 12:52 HOLY SHIT
How to beat zerg is destroy their buildings then they can't build units versus the other 2 races. Also just expand and have 2 armies 1 for defense and 1 for offense. Then use drops to annoy resource production while attacking with offense army and if u are able to multitask with what I said u should win most battles. Just my opinion and exp. Have fun everyone

Missed a big drop at 26:55 where scan killed 18 drones
Wonder if you could paint a nuke across the wall from Scan's main into Hm's late expansion there... would that even work?
Dark Swarm + Lurker seems very powerful... but there should be ways to counter it. Maybe spreading out the tanks some more could help? Or a few spider mines?

This was really fun! As a fan of the pro scene (but only a casual player) I really appreciate your commentary explaining some of the finer parts of the game.
Is there any way you could reduce the screen scrolling speed when doing casts? It can be hard to focus on things like fights when the screen moves so much and so fast. (Nothing too drastic - just a suggestion.)
Is his rage on vacation?
If Scan went with more SCVs ahead, he could have taken out the zerg. A wall of scv properly defends the marines from assaults.

I mostly see this version called brood war
Don't know if you are joking but vanilla couldn't really be played. Zerg would win every game with the way mutalisk micro has been perfected. Medics and corsair and to a lesser extent valkyrie all keep mutas in line.
Zerg is imba in vanilla SC, and Terran can't win vs carriers lategame
Im seeing mass hydras get built into marines a ton recently. What changed? Only a year ago that was a big no no.

its definitely a map where late game zerg can be starved, but early game its pretty zerg favored due to mutalisk harassment.
If Zerg takes and holds the other main base, it's almost a win by default. Even so, T = Z on this map.

Welcome back, I don't think I like this new meta evolution, zerg was definitely not the race that needed an advancement, I think that big maps are already favored in ZvT and especially if the zerg can make the game long and this almost guarantees that they are able to, I want Flash to come back and dumpster this style so people can copy him.
