@@patrickjack8101 except UFO does not have swarm and unlimited mana, on top of Irradiate. And it also does not have unescapable aoe.

wtf happened to mihu for like 5 minutes starting from 22:00. Huge bank, base count and mining in great shape. Why was he unable to damage the zerg? Why was he unable to keep his supply up? I'm watching this game and I still can't tell wtf his plan was. Is it really just plague that stopped him dead?

Well Artosis said it in the video. Being hit many places at once so terran neglected keeping up production to make use of his bank while zerg might have lost a bit more, he managed to keep resources flowing to keep up aggression

Around min 25 the failed attack and the mismanagement of his BCs predicted the outcome.

We are baaak, almost 3 days with no broodwar dosis since my usuual dealers, ASL and Artossis cast were offline ... y almost didn't make it this time.

That was an incredible game. I always wonder if late game valks would work. When Mihu had all that money, if he just pumped out 6 valks, the ship weapons upgrade make them pop overlords so fast that if you shift-clicked them around the map, it would force zerg to spend money and larva making scourge and overlords, and the drop in supply would reduce zerg’s ability to max.
This game gave me anxiety, holy hell

When lurkers stack 3x like that, why not d-matrix and irradiate a vessel and chase? There were no hydras there, no scourge, no anti-air at all.
This game made me sad. This is the perfect example of don't think, just click. Plague science vessels never bother to kill them. Plague and a couple mutas kill science vessels fast. No defensive structures. Expanding when you don't need to. Keeping a huge bank instead of ending the game earlier. Switch to BC to prove you don't know BC are terrible. underused lings, over used ultras. poor upgrading. Low IQ game.
I have a question: why don't Zerg players rush Terran CC's? It takes 2 infested terrans & 1 queen to take down a Terran mining operation. It is cheaper than a nuke. Infinitely expendable, you just drop two infested terrans on a CC and boom, queen gets the CC infested. There is no counter.
Mihu doesn't know how to play. At 10 minutes mark he is just on marine-medic and no third. No wonder he lost.
oh wait, that's only valid for Artosis. Mihu is a pro gamer while Artosis barely knows how to hold a computer mouse - which follows from the two reasons I've just mentioned. According to gosu players in comments in some very respectable communities😂

I love it when someone is courageous enough to play bio, without vultures&tanks. Is it efficient to go marines+vessels or is just the player bored of slow-ass tank pressure?

Hey Artosis how come Medics don't Restore Plagued units? Is it just too hard on the micro or just not worth the investment since Defilers can just eat more 'lings?
Had strong feeling that some vultures w spider mines would help immensely against zerg composition
There's something inherently sad about hearing a vessel get gunned down by a Hydra, could you imagine the poor pilot thinking he survived with 1 HP and then a spine just takes his life

First time watching a professional SC1 game, so what are the Blue Zerg eggs sitting around the edge of some of the bases?
The neutral eggs are obstacles used to aid walling and chokepoints, but which players can remove through devoted attack.

I wonder if fake muta builds are at all possible, I've never seen it, so the terran scans sees the eggs, but they're like hydras or lings or somthing. Could you get an advantage from that somehow? Probably not.
If you make spire with no mutas you can’t harass terran in their base so they are free to not make turrets and roam the map killing third bases. Marine medic is so strong early game against ling hydra.

Science Vessels really are the worst and most annoying unit in star craft. I get why they're needed and important. They still suck.

Anybody knows why pros never get restoration? It works so well to restore BCs and science vessels when they get plagued.
Restoration is a lot of mana, which will makes medics basically useless for a time, and it can only be casts on 1 unit at a time. Also, its just more apm to use up.
Besides whats the point? Lets say you drain like 8 medics of their energy restoring your BC’s, then they fly back in and get plagued again immediately by the same Defiler because consume exists…
If restoration was an aoe spell I do think it would be used though.
I think that falls under the category of "not worth the micro". Could they do it? Probably. But generally during a fight when units get plagued you're more occupied with moving the army, continuing the rounds of macro, rallying reinforcements, and tons of other things that the terran player is doing that puts restoring a vessel or BC pretty low on the list.
If the BCs/vessels are not even close to the medics to begin with then they also have to consider whether they need to move the units away from whatever they were doing to be restored and repaired then moved out again.
Chances are a Terran player that actually goes around restoring plagued units are either a god (pretty much never the case) or are bad and aren't doing more important things to try and win the game (more likely). If Flash, Light and other extremely good terrans still don't bother to put in the micro to restore, they've probably got good reasons why.
@@oldscoolest they will deplete their energy trying to heal the plagued marine anyways no? Anyways, I'm only a C player and about 150 APM and I find it worth the APM in some case so I was wondering about the pros.
@@oldscoolest 1 medic is cheaper than to repair BC once. They are just too lazy for that.

Why doesn't the Terran use more fitebats? I'm only low B ranked Terran but why not utilize firebats for lings under dark swarm ??? Low B rank ZvT is way different from S rank or high A rank.. all low B rank use crazy zerg
That’s the thing, they’re good against lings and are barely passable against anything else. They can kinda fight Hydras under Dark Swarm, though the dps is pretty bad. They can theoretically fight Lurkers, but they will take a lot of casualties doing so. Against Ultras they do basically no damage, also Firebats can’t shoot up.
Firebats have 8-11 damage depending on upgrades, but their attack type is horrible.100% to small units, 50% to medium and 25% to large. And accidently Ultralisks are large units who have a lot of armor. So you need like 100 firebats to kill 1 Ultralisk.
p.s. Hydralisk, defiler, lurker and egg all medium somehow, so that's 50% damage from firebat.
