The guitar riff from this song was just voted as the number one rock riff of all time. 🎸 They may not have been technically perfect but that’s what made them great!!!
Technically perfect? People still don't get the point of this type of music. Jimmy Page once told me about it: It was for the purpose of getting away from "technical" perfection. The Jazz bands prior to this style music played "technically perfect." This isn't jazz. It's rock, and it is AWESOME! What's with those goofballs who say that? Jimmy Page could play jazz. He frequentlly jammed with Big John Sullivan. But, he wanted a rock band and not a jazz one.
People are insane. Did you know that, when I was growing up, I was viciously attacked? People literally thought I was Jesus, and they weren't nice about it. They tried to fix it to where I never dated a girl in my life. True story! I once had a girlfriend who turned on me because she thought that. A psychotic girl from the 70's. None of my other girlfriends acted like that. Just, one crazy one I met. That's some bizarred stuff!
Now I try to make humor of it, but some how it all started back up again. I was fired from my teaching job for no reason, and my email is being flooded with job offers that I can never seem to get to. It's the old residue satanists.
The thing about the guitar, like many other instruments, is that you can bend notes, slur notes, use feedback, or whatever the artist wants to do to express emotion. Page was a master of creating emotion and feeling, as was the whole band. Page played the guitar like he invented it, and could do whatever he needed to do.

For me whole lotta love was always an action song-not just about a reaction of a man to a woman but a whole love is king gig. I think these songs should have their studio versions reviewed by you-these live performances are often done as is on the night, and usually with the audience holding the studio version as a comparitor and as the main concept.

I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1970. I was 21 at the time. I am 33 days older than the singer, Robert Plant. I was singing Led Zeppelin songs in a band in college at the time. :-)
I've never heard Page play better. The improvisation surrounding the skeleton(core) of the tune was brilliant. He made the improbable happen. He made it heavier than heavy. It was monumental. Like a space shuttle lift-off.
My favorite Robert Plant vocal: SQUEEZE MY LEMON TILL THE JUICE RUNS DOWN MY LEG…SQUEEZE IT SO HARD I FALL RIGHT OUTTA BED…SQUEEZE MY LEMON TILL THE JUICE RUNS DOWN MY LEG😛😛😛😝😝😝😜😜😜
Hello darlin, Break Out The Lead Here are just a few examples of Led Zeppelin's power and majesty to blow you away; Kashmir (the definitive Zeppelin song), The Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You, The Gallows Pole, Ramble ON, Dancing Days, Going To California, How Many More Times, I Can't Quit You Baby, When The Levee Breaks, Thank You, Houses Of The Holy, Tangerine, The Rain Song, The Wanton Song, Moby Dick, Heartbreaker, The Ocean, Dazed and Confused, Black Dog, and last but not least, Whole Lotta Love! The band Led Zeppelin was hard to classify. Some labeled them hard rock, others called them metal while others labeled them a rock and roll blues band. In the end, they were a little bit of everything and a whole lot of unlike anybody else. No band has ever matched their sound in a genuine way. Led Zeppelin’s originality stemmed from the mesmerizing vocals of Robert Plant, the phrasings, riffs, and sound effects of Jimmy Page’s guitar work, the intensity and groove of John Bonham’s bass and snare, and the brilliant musicianship of the much underrated John Paul Jones. The merger of these four brilliant musicians resulted in a ten-year period of albums and tours that presented fans with the greatest rock and roll band of all time.
Hi Rebeka, There are a few out there with reactions to songs, but you are the one I love to watch & listen to. Please react to Led Zeppelin - KASHMIR - live at the O2 in 2007. Plant, Bonham (Jason), Page, & Jones totally ripped it! The power is simply insatiable, that is, it's where you could have every rock band & orchestra in the world playing at the same time, & it would still demand more! These guys on their own almost managed it. It is beat, & note perfect. Bonham just smashes the hell out of his kit, & Plant just does what he does best - commands the stage & tells a story. Page & Jones collaborate musically. Awesome is a word much used, but this is awesome in its entirety! Please react to this version, you loved Black Dog, what the hell will you think of this one?
You want his full vocal abilities. There’s only one choice as far as I’m concerned... Since I’ve Been Loving You! 😘😉 Amazing single take guitar solo in it as well.
