    Wiring an engine can be a daunting task but with a Haltech Terminated Wiring Harness it's actually quite straight forward. In this video we show you how to wire GM's popular LS engine using an LS Terminated Engine Harness. This step-by-step guide will explain the whole process showing you exactly where each plug goes.

    Suits: GM Gen IV LSX (LS2/LS3) DBW, factory EV6 injector connectors.

      The good thing is the Haltech Manual explains everything step by step. I remember my first Haltech install when the E6 just came out, I just read the manual and learned EFI install step by step. Will a little help I was able to tune although there were no UEGO controllers available at the time that was affordable, unlesess you had a friend in a F1 race team and they would lend you their Horiba (the size of a weekend suitcase) . No a a days they are dime a dozen.

    Obvious question of the day. What if I told you what I'm driving, could you add terminals to the in cabin wires?....If you can't tell, I love plug and play solutions and I'm lazy.

    looks good. Is there any chance you do a kit like this for an sr20det? if so id love to see a video on it as i am planning on doing the swap in the near(ish) future. cheers guys

      We actually do a Pro Plugin ECU for the SR20DET, so you can use the OEM engine harness and plug the ECU straight into that. Easy:)

    Very easy wiring . Does the elite offer rolling anti lag , back pressure, and what kind of egt probe does it use?

      Rolling anti lag - Yes, exhaust back pressure - yes, we can log that, EGTs - we use open tip, K-type EGTs.

    Good description on the wiring harness. But you did not mention anything about programming the computer if you're installing the motor in a muscle car. I'm thinking of installing an LS motor in a 68 GTO. Need to configure wheel size, gear ratio. are you going to have another video describing how to do this computer programming?

      That's not a topic that we can cover in one video as tuning is different for each car/engine. We do however, have training seminars which teach you the basic of tuning and in particular how to tune using Haltech's software and hardware.

    How does my haltech iq3 street dab hook up with my elite 2500 ecu and ls3 terminated harness? the can low/high connector suppied with the iq3 street dab has no where to be fitted on my ecu or harness?

      If your IQ3 Street is the only CAN device being connected to your elite, you require CAN cable HT-060201. If you’re connecting to a CAN hub, you require CAN cable HT-060200.

    a question... why the 2500 elite seris wont work with the factory gauges and how do wr make it work .

    Is this loom offered on its own with an OEM plug if you were going to retain the standard ecu?
    This looks about the most painless way to convert to LS, but I just dont need the flexibility of a haltech ECU unfortunately

      Unfortunately no. This harness is terminated to suit Elite ECU. OEM ECU actually sits inside the engine bay so the harness is completely different.

    Bro help please !, After installation lpg, mixed 4 and 6 cylinder. In the original bundle 6 and 4 cylinder GND- two green wires and one with a black strip. Where is it, help

    planning on LS swapping my opel omega ( GM/holden platform) but i want to keep the factory dash/dails... is it possible to use the factory stuff with the LS loom kit and ECU?? i've got an electronic speed sensor in the gearbox, and a crank position sensor that is also used to show RPM`s or do i need to config/wire that in differently??

      Yep, should be almost identical, you might have to change the map sensor connector.

      There is a vehicle speed input wire available, however this is not terminated as the plug would change depending on which transmission you are using.

    step 1: tie wire around engine.
    step 2: tie other end of wire to any non GM car.
    step 3: drag LS to the dump.
    step 4: dispose of LS.

      LS engines are the most popular swapped engine in the world cars boats and even planes they're also proven to hold up under pressure even when heavily modified it is incredibly reliable
