Man I’m really liking the info you’re putting out on this truck. I’m honestly surprised that you like it as much as you do since you’re big on the 350 and 450. I for one can honestly say that you have inspired me to really look into the Chevy 6.6 gasser for my next truck to use to tow a travel trailer with. My current 2018 F150 is a good truck and can do anything I ask it to do except pull a travel trailer (because of the size of trailer my family needs is one to sleep like 9 people) the towing is a max of 7700lbs (2.7 EcoBoost) and the trailer I’m looking at weighs like 8500lbs dry unloaded. I really need a bigger truck. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
@@workplaytv me too man. I’ve been looking at getting into a F350 with the 7.3. I’ve heard nothing but good things from those as well. I want the 350 because of the additional payload and the like 2000lbs more of gooseneck towing numbers.
@@workplaytv Seems like 285/75r18 for 2500's and 285/75r18-285/65r20 for 3500's would be what a OEM would pick for a work truck, and a 285 would be better on hard packed snow and ice. I agree HD trucks should have 35's standard.
@@workplaytv On TFL Trucks UA-cam channel the 6.6 gas V8 got better fuel economy(1 to 2 mpg) than the 7.3 gas V8, despite having a 6 speed transmission. Honestly you should have gotten yourself a 2021 F-350 STX 7.3 Big Block V8 Godzilla FX4 4.30 geared truck like I got with the two battery & alternators package . It will tow way better than that Government Motors thing you have there ! Personally BFG KO2 All Terrains are my go to tire and have never let me down . My F-350 hardly flinches carrying my Boss V Blade ! That Independent front axle truck won’t hold up!
We had that truck and compared to the Ram Cummins that Godzilla feels like a Toyota corolla. Not to mention pathetic mileage and no exhaust break. I get 16mpg towing a 38ft 5th wheel. The Godzilla is a great truck for around town towing. On the roads where you may have hills and passes towing no thanks...just plain dangerous.
It's pretty easy to choose a diesel truck out of GM--Ford and Ram. If you are even remotely mechanical go to a used car lot with newer models. Look under the hood of all three. It should be simple after that. FYI the Cummins has 1/3 the parts of the GM and the Ford. The Cummins standing flat you can see the alternator (on top)ac condensor, water pump starter all of it. Easily in reach. I could change the water pump on the Ram standing flat footed not even removing the fan shroud...I bet I can do it in an hour. The Ford and GM is a mess and a nightmare when things start to break.. The interior, the Ram is so far ahead of the other models as in fit and finish. Dead last is the GM. If you want cheap and the worst drivetrain thats your truck. I just bought a new diesel. I knew I didn't want a GM. I dont buy my trucks for current styling. I buy them for resale and how they are built and power. I planned to buy a Ford...after I lifted the hood it was over for Ford. It's a joke honestly.
Front is too level for 35's. I have a 3.5 in lift on mine, which is recommended for 35's, but I cut the fenders and squeezed 37's in there. Unless you have some cheap off brand tires that measure 33.8 and you rounded up to 35's....that truck won't clear 35's...
The added weight should have helped with traction...But you had me holding my breath with my fingers crossed...love my Chevy 3500...thanks for the info on the tires...looking forward to seeing the other videos...stay safe and Merry Christmas..

Don't dip it just paint it man.
Plasti dip is the biggest scam ever made.
He's comparing a 2500 Gasser to F350 Duallys that are diesel...go GMC!!!!
Who is?
Wasn’t an option or I would have had one
We had that truck and compared to the Ram Cummins that Godzilla feels like a Toyota corolla. Not to mention pathetic mileage and no exhaust break. I get 16mpg towing a 38ft 5th wheel. The Godzilla is a great truck for around town towing. On the roads where you may have hills and passes towing no thanks...just plain dangerous.
@@JC-ok7qd Say what you want but I’ve seen one tow 24K pounds in Wyoming on hills no problemo! Best gasser going period.
Well it did lol
It’s a GMC 😂
