I'M a INTP and I like ENTP people because we think a lot alike, just in the way we are comfortable expressing our thoughts is where the divide seems to happen, but I notice ENTP need alot of movement because when I talk to a ENTP about some of my abstract ideas they can get super fidgety after awhile and cant stand it , its like going deeper in the ocean but the pressure gets more intense the deeper you go , the INTP is really good at taking the mental pressure in the abstract ideas but the ENTP needs to go up for air after getting so deep for so long ,so as a INTP I try to be more understanding.

Or while you're elaborating on a subject, the ENTP hears certain word or subject, then suddenly starts rambling non-stop abut their (Ne) idea about that particular subject, and then goes from that subject into something else, and as INTP you think" Hey i was talking!".
It can be pretty exhausting to stop them, cause they can appear like a leaking water tap that just can not stop leaking water. In any moment you stop talking, the rambling train will likely start to take off so you have to "protect" your own opportunity to speak. It's not that they mind you talking, it's more like they do not notice their rambling to be somewhat overbearing.
I'm an INTP, I have about 2-3 real phone conversations a year, & hang out 2-3 times a year(mostly bdays)lol, & feel cognitively exhausted trying to understand their inner frameworks, cringe my way through small talk, wonder why their not doing the same (mapping out my inner models).
I've had this book idea that's been haunting me for the last 2 years and each day I sculpt it, mentally. I can't wait to rid of it. Awesome video btw.

Yeah dude, socialization isn't really a thing for me. Depending on my mood, I can either dominate the conversation starting from small-talk (my little trap) and working my way up to my latest idea or otherwise, expressing my disinterest through apparent relaxation within my tone of speech. As an introvert, you may not want to socialize all the time anyway. I like to make this known. It's considered a respectable quality to an extrovert when you're open about this.
My biggest issue is following through with ideas. I can relate to that entirely. As an INTP, we are highly proficient at inner growth however externalizing this to the outer world is where we fall short.

I am sometimes scared by ENTP, I want to 'suck' their way of thinking and structure it, but it's just too intensive with all those nonsensical emotions. The pure chaos.

Along those lines, when I was like 7 I decided I wanted to invent a "Dreamcatcher" machine that would record my (usually very vivid, as a child) dreams so I could watch them when I was awake. I figured that way I wouldn't need tv anyway, since my parents refused to get cable, making me one of those children who played outside all day and night. Nice work, parents!

INTP girl here who can't find a single person to debate with except my ENTJ husband and his J really get's on my freaking nerves sometimes. People don't understand that need to debate and have your ideas challenged and be able to receive interesting information as much as give it. I'm constantly giving out (which is more like teaching) more than I'm getting back from most of my friends. And it's exhausting and NOT fun. Why I don't really talk much. I also really struggle with that Fe thing, even as a girl. I'm CONSTANTLY having to put myself in other people's shoes because I don't get what they're so upset about and really just want them to stop LOL
I'll debate you! I'm INTP.
ENTP + INTP can be good for debating truth related subjects! They both like to uncover truth without being biased with feelings or judgement. They're the most capable of debating over new or uncommon believes in that sense.
I do notice however that the INTP will more likely favor ideas that are in tune with other things they consider truths, so in their mind these 2 idea are not a contradiction. A new idea can be accepted if it contradicts an older idea, but then the older idea will most likely stop being considered true. For an INTP's dominant introverted thinking there must exist enough harmony between multiple things they believe in in order to accept them. After all, 2 contradicting considered truths can not both be true. It is, however, possible to debate the apparent possibility of pretty much any idea, since they're open enough to reconsider pretty much anything if new info arrives.
For the ENTP however, ideas or apparent truths being in line with each other, is less important since they usually seem to favor novelty of ideas over their consistency with each other.
I 100% agree, it is hard to find a debate partner. My main issue is that I realize when it becomes circular thinking and end the debate. Either they don't understand their own stance or what I am saying. I even put the effort into explaining it so that even someone who doesn't get it, could understand it. It drives me up the wall when they think they won or call me stupid.
One's J is always disturbing us cause they are always wrong no matter if by a bit or by a mountain... wrong is wrong... we know... maybe only INTPs know what is messed in the whole system.
Your problem isn't them. Your problem is debating. You want a conclusive truth and debating doesn't find that. Debating is for opinions. Use dialectic for objective truths. Refer to Socrates
I'm an INTP with an ENTP baby sister. Love her to death but sometimes I literally just have to stare her in the eye and just tell her to shut up in the middle of her rants (usually I'm guessing, she's using all her primary Ne to tell me about her day when I don't care about the detail but really just want to know her thought processes throughout the day)
I completely agree with the way you describe the potential relationship between ENTP and INTP. I'm INTP and knew an ENTP woman in college and our ability to connect, knocked me off my feet. She was always special to me, but it wasn't until I learned many years later about MBTI and WHY this relationship was so special to me.

Im INTP but i feel if my parents wouldnt have labeled me as shy since i remember and my overthetop mother wouldnt embarrased me so much i could have been ENTP, that makes sense? im super extroverted, outrageous, and funny on small circles of people i really know, i just shut down around strangers and/or acquaintances.
+lucasoscar im the same way, its INTP... we all exist somewhere on the intro vs extra spectrum and move along it situationally. it takes more for us to feel comfortable enough to be fully extraverted than a true extravert who is naturally more comfortable expressing themselves around people. it also has do to will neurology, extraverts require more stimulation to enguage higher parts of their brain and cognitive functions like logic and reasoning... and other frontal lobe/cortex bits and bobs. So they seek out that stimulation so that they feel like they can operate normally, as where introverts dont need that extra stimulation and in fact it can detract from mental abilities so we like to seclude ourselves when working on thinking or highly enguaged tasks. No need to regret your childhood and if you could have been different, Im happy to be introverted you should be too... if its social awkwardness/shyness thats bothering you studying other personality types definitely helps, you'll get better at reading people and the appropiate types of things to say and such

This is so crazy I love how you explained this. I am a intp and I just recently met a girl that makes me feel exactly like how you are describing. I told her to take the test and turns out she is a entp and it all makes sense we find our selves talking for hours and not wanting to stop we understand eachother so much.

I never considered ENTPs, but from what you say, it could be a nice match, especially "older types" who delve more into their 3rd and inf functions, like you said.

You know this stuff! I'm an INTP and once I discovered MBTI I was amazed how accurately it describes me. It was like I was discovering myself, not like, I was actually discovering myself. I still haven't learned about it the whole thing as much as I want to, being INTP, there is so much to learn about various other subjects. But sometimes I'm coming back it, I think I can use the theory to better understand my relationships with different people.

As I am an INTP, therefor very introverted, I don't normally show what's going on in my mind but if there were anyone who completely embodies my mind it would be an ENTP "assuming their anything like yourself". Your body language gives great insight to how fast your mind is racing and how much enthusiasm you give your ideas, you basically express what I can only think which is probably the psychological reason why ENTP's and INTP's are so drawn together, they see themselves in each other, just an idea?

I’m an intp and get along really well with my entp bf! Yes we both have a very similar sense of humour and all of our convos are filled with laughter, mental stimulation & teasing each other. We both tend to not get carried away with emotions now but he used to get very emotional before when it came to me.
There were points in our life where whenever I would leave for vacay or vice verse, tears would be streaming down his face and I would be laughing (so cruel I know).
In my mind I used to think anyway we will be meeting again so why cry & he used to feel bad that I didn’t understand his emotions. The logician in me was at an all time high.
And we do have a very kiddish love as described in the video. I have tons of embarrassingly kiddish and silly names which I call him and he says it makes him feel young!

I'm a 47 year old INTP who has done a lot of work on my Fe. Highly recommended. I spent a whole year in sales and made a living off my Fe. The extroverted sensing was really great. I could really read people. I would try something and i could watch their faces and tell exactly how it came across.
Then when it came time to explain our product i could use my Ti of course. At the back end of my sales presentation the Ti became the hero. So if i could well in the part where Fe was important i was home free.
But i digest... what i was saying is that being well rounded is really nice. There are tons of ways you can work on your Fe.

Lol as an intp i may be too entertained/ amused at you wearing the glasses without picking off the sticker (if you knew it was there but didn't care) too peel it off myself. But yes, if i did I would remove the sticker to perfection. And u mentioned that it may need to be picked at to get all of it off. so there would be reflecting on how to do remove it leaving no remains and possibly doing some research. You may also hear me talk about how annoyed i am that they put this type of sticker on the lens of the glasses (for some reason I'm imagining the on the lens lol). Oh and i wouldn't remove the sticker unless i thought you were fine with it. That would be too controlling.
So... what is a "Goose" (2:34) and what is "Jay" (3:55) and what is "Mimi" (10:19). However, regardless of whether I get answers or not... I need to find a friend that's an ENTP. Not that finding friends is that easy or even possible for me at least. I don't know if INTPs are the only ones who can live in "their own little world" for extremely long periods of time, so it might not be because I am an INTP but rather for other reasons.

Interesting video! I only knew one ENTP that I sort of became friends with...I could never keep their attention enough to talk about anything meaningful haha. So ENTPs are great in a social gathering but difficult to be personal with.

I think it's very low actually. INTP are endlessly fascinated by their latest interest. They constantly go down rabbit holes until understanding takes place. Then they quickly move on. The quest for knowledge never ends. They can also be very emotional (especially in private) and will never listen to music that doesn't fit their mood. They are not "Spock". They are generally not nerds. They can very animated and VERY opinionated. They can also be wall flowers who simply observe and take in their surroundings. Their minds are always thinking. They can be a LOT of fun if they get on a roll because the clarity of thought becomes very apparent to those that are trusted and around them a lot. Yes, they can get lonely, but they are likely the type that can most easily go on through life alone. Many do just that.

I love ENTPs, they are so RAW. How can anyone not appreciate that rawness? I get ENTP's intuition (bup bup munominum,bup bup monominum..) That is the craziness of intuition that most people don't understand. The word "Phenomenon" sparks the connection with the childhood reference on Sesame Street (bup bup monominum...). The funny thing is that it sparks the exact same connection for me (an INTPish INTJ). I just noticed my one year ago comment where I claimed to be an INTP (that lasted about a week),but I realized that I was a better fit with INTJ. MBTI isn't black and white.50% of INTJs are type 5 Enneagram (considered INTP type)and only 30% are type 1(basically the stereotypical INTJ).
INTP here and I've had the best bromance going since 5th grade with my ENTP best friend. I honestly believe that ENTPs are the funniest people in the world. You people can be so blunt and savage when you make a joke, I just can't handle it.

I had an INTP colleague. I am an ENTP and I think he is awesome.... although there is a big indication that he kinda hated me. He thinks I am loud and asked too much questions cuz I find him so magical and knowledgeable I couldn't control but kept talking to them.

INTP here. As far as empathy goes, I'd say that I'm actually very empathetic. I just have a difficult time being sympathetic, because while I can grasp why a person feels a certain way, I also can't help thinking about what lead up to the thing
this is pretty cool. my younger brother is an entp and I'm an intp. and we get along so well even when we debate and it gets pretty heated we still debate for the sake of debating. it's usually about religion haha. he's a christian and I'm agnostic I guess. but we often disect things like commercials to see how stupid it was or how interesting, usually the former.lol.

I get exactly what you’re meaning.... my grade had less than 100 students and I’m an ENTP. I had 3 (they’re all still my friends) INTP friends it’s like I accidentally found all of them in my grade.
I know 2 ENTPs.. Definitely got that conversation chemistry flow and intellectual connection.
