Testing out the Merida BigTrail 200 (2021)

Took my hardtail out for a spin on blue trails in Bitsevsky Forest, going down those downhill sections was kinda scary as a beginner but tons of fun!!!

The bicycle is very good! The geometry allows it to ride aggressively whether ascending or descending the gears are enough. But the fork and seatpost definitely need to be upgraded because they seatpost needs to constantly adjusted when riding in the trail while the cheap fork doesn't allow you to do any minor jumps or drops found on xc trails because it doesn't absorbs the impacts very well. I'll be getting the RockShox Golden RL and the eThirteen vario dropper seatpost all for 40K rub. But if you don't plan on doing any jumps then buying only the dropper post will be enough.

Сильно тяжелый, вилку и втулку под замену так как ость на 100мм, размер нужно брать побольше, так как рама в размере M (16).

Yes, if you're planning to go riding in the city it's very comfortable but because the tires are a bit heavily treaded when riding on the asphalt the tires make a unique sound which can be annoying if you want to ride very silently, in fact, according to the website, it's designed to be an "SUV" because you can attach a kickstand and even a bike rack at the back if planning to ride for long hours.

Для города я бы посоветовал линейку, big.nine 600 он на раме Лайт

Well yes, you can get a BigNine too but it's a cross country bike and not a Trail. The geometries are completely different. It ultimately boils down to what you're kind of rider you are, if you want a bike for the city only then it doesn't make sense to get a Trail, a XC is better

Взял недавно трейл 500, уже месяц катаю. Классный вел, но уже словил очень сильную восьмёрку на ободе, на краске даже от протерки тряпкой после грязи царапины остаются, но там они типа какую то экологичную применяют поэтому так, мне в принципе без разницы. Почему то раскрутилась кассета, маленькие звезды люфтят и болтаться, завтра придёт сьемник, затяну ее. Если хотите реально на трейлах катать лучше добавьте и покупайте подвес, этот для жёсткого кк и прогулочного катания очень даже норм. Если для города лучше взять стелс 360

Прикол, у меня тоже касcета раскручивалась, только на big.nine limited. Как посильнее затянешь, вроде бы ок.
