I am saying this in the hopes that Tier Zoo sees this: I want to see the American server, we humans and our allied pets and cattle pretty much own America but I want to see what the few other contenders are. We killed off most dangerous and especially most poisonous or venomous enemies in America, even in my region of the server where rattlesnakes and black widows are the only real venomous dangers we have, and bob cats are the only regular dangers we have, and I live in a rural area where humans have actually done less to fight off possible threats. Australia is like a modded server or a experimental server where people just test stuff out. Like half the things one shot the other with venom and the other half is braindead rushdown or campers.
Or both, the funnel-web spider build is on of the most op here is Australia. It combines the already powerful venom ability with the rage inducing camping strategy. However experienced players are about to find these camping spots, which have become more creative with the expansion of the city biome.

Actual Australian here, we actually beat the emus like nothing else. Initially a team of 3 dudes were trying to hunt them, but due to lack of training and experience they failed. 2 months after failure we put a bounty on emus and farmers proceeded to solve the issue in a few weeks.
The Devs seriously considered this a while back, but decided not to because experienced players saw Australia as a new challenge, which made the game more popular and more played.
That perk tree is incomplete, while the quantum physics perk is rare, it is the prerequisite perk for getting 'understanding Rick & Morty jokes' however, those two perks won't get you very far in the human meta.

The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. I like the analysis of the specific meta of different servers as opposed to the overall meta. There are always niches in the different servers that get expanded upon, so this is a great way to showcase that

I'd disagree, Australia isn't all that OP. The other builds might have stronger variants, but it's got very low numbers of human builds, especially near the centre. Seeing how OP human builds are, their lower numbers in the Australian centre make it one of the more balanced servers out there (although of course Antarctica and the Deep Sea are the most balanced). Europe is a far more OP server, human builds are everywhere there,
Meme Addict I agree, some players on the forums are even saying they're the Dinos reincarnate. If the Devs dont do something soon Ostrich, Emu and Kassowary players are gonna dominate the meta.

Unironic Weeb While a direct assault against the emu's was a failure, the high ranking human players found it easier to place a bounty on emu players heads, and victory was eventually achieved. A lot of people seem to forget this.
@Daniel Marinho actually it can be a bonus after a forest fire the plants that survive are left with extremely nutrient soil so a plant with deep roots could survive and thrive after and to completely honest forest fires are really good for wildlife as it ensures that new trees grow as long as they dont get out of hand

Also If you don't already play in the Australian server then why are you playing on easy mode. Come here and play hardcore mode. Don't be scared we don't bite we're just incredibly poisonous.
As a player from the Australian server, I completely agree with it all. Except you need to mention how the emu players defeated the human players in a war on the server
I gotta say though there are so many noob classes here though. On top of the Koalas, possums, wombats, etc. you also have all the snake players, which can be hard to spec properly but they're so easy to play - you just camp near someone's spawn and practically wait till they walk into your mouth. They do get ganked hard by kookaburras though.
Stephen Hooper also s tier cassowary . Although not native to Australia , they are commonly found in the northern part and in New Guinea . They are a broken bird build who put more points into sharp attack then they do flight . Deadliest birds on the planet and should be nerfed
Alex McArthur no we didn’t. It was a couple blokes and 10000 rounds of machine guns, not the whole army like the memes tell you. The emus were always going to win as there were more of them then we could kill. It was a population control if anything, not a war
Please cover the platypus in more depth, I saw you didn't include its electric pulse detection skill (hunting mechanism). It has the most underrated skillset of all mammals, it needs more attention.
I think the reason for the lack of dedicated mammal tank builds is the fact that venom is a fairly hard counter to most mammalian tanks, as they are tanks due to high HP, as opposed to reptile tanks which opt instead for high armor. This meant that mammalian tanks simply were not viable due to venom’s damage tending to scale with HP, but requiring low target armor to apply. Introducing armadillos or pangolins tho the meta *could* remedy this, though they are small-scale tanks, as opposed to large tanks like elephants and bears
Monocle Squid Nah, it's all to do with lack of resources and the server split which happened a long time ago. Even the areas which look resource-rich, like the rainforest, can't really support large herbivores. That's why imported pig builds from other servers are still upsetting the meta there a couple hundred years after some server-specific builds found a way to transfer servers.
Not really. For one, no venomous animals there are big enough to hunt large mammals. Secondly, venom damage does not scale with HP, since an amount of damage that would kill a mouse wouldn't necessarily kill a human or any larger animals. The dosage is important.

Onceknown Yeah man, you get huge buffs once you finish the puberty mechanics. Massive increase in intelligence and strength. The erection debuff, although frustrating can add an extra player into your party which is good. It’s hard to get a grip on but you’ll get there.
The Wombat is technically a mini tank. Yes, it is small, but it is also chonky, can move at around the same pace as a dog player, and it's rump of solid cartilage provides +75 resistance to flank attacks, and it can burrow under ground to escape enemies.

Nah, the african server has way more superpowerful shit, so does the south and central american server. Most OP thing there is the salt water croc and the funnel web spider, although the funnel web is not as good as the croc. Pretty sure everyrhing else would die in the african server or in the south american.

Australian here. I think in the clip at 3:21 not only is that roo getting chased by 2 dingos, but you can see a pretty large snake try to bite the roo as it jumps over the log

The crocodile grabs the animal with his jaws, but that usually down't kill the animal. The bite if mostly for maintaining the grab. The crocodile then will drag the animal into the water and start spinning around to kill the animal via drowning, shock and breaking of bones. But the crocodile's teeth are not fit to bite chunks out of the corpse. Therefore the crocodile will bite with only the tip of the jaw into the animal and start spinning again and that is for tearing out chunks of flesh for consumption.
Roos aren't tanks, they're more mid-tier bruisers. Tank implies a focus on defence, whereas roos put just enough points into defence trees to be able to shrug off one or two large hits without sacrificing mobility, although some roo players I know insist that they started with tanks and then made the necessary sacrifices to unlock the Hopping mobility trait to reduce stamina consumption from running.
The introduction of bears into the Australian server could prove to be not too game breaking depending on the bear and where it’s placed, like Victoria would be a great part of the map to place a build like a black bear
Opossums are an American build. At the moment you can only play a nerfed version in Australia - Possums, which is a way less aggressive class. This isn't a build designed to win. The Australian server is pretty crap for mammals, most classes seem to have spent way too much on aesthetics so it attracts a lot of role players and newbs, and maybe some high tier players who just get drunk every session.

Oh yeah I was over on the NZ server recently and fragged a couple of them for you with my mount. They just stand in the middle of the road or actively walk in front of cars so you'd think perma banning them would be easy, right? I meant you can't play the Opossum class in Australia. Possums are completely different, not even related to Opossums (other than being marsupials).
It's true. I think most of the players on Oz serv. play drunk - then most of the Human class players also get their characters drunk. How else do you get people creating something like a platypus? Kookaburras too - who specs a LAUGH as your main intimidate call?
The same people who spec into mimicking a human infant's cry, and then not take advantage of the fact that humans were leaving their shelters at night (when they're super weak) to figure out who was crying- at least not before the human players figured out that niche meta.
If you’re going to do another server video I’d be interested in seeing Antarctica. It seems to be the only place (excluding the space DLC pack which is still in alpha) where human players are struggling to gain to gain a foothold. As a dedicated human player I’d love to see what tips and tricks you might have for such a hostile environment, you focus a lot on PvP but this would really be a chance to talk about the PvE elements of the game.
Charles Gillespie I think that human players are capable of expanding there, but most of the guilds are not interested to spend their resources to do it. So far, only the data miners are interested in maintaining a foothold in that server. I might be wrong tho.
Charles Gillespie Starshaped Spice That's a good point, though Antarctica is also unique in that various human factions seem to coexist there peacefully, making it a contender for one of the first decided neutral areas for human players (other than the fairly human player exclusive Outer space server.) It's really more of a science area, if anything, but there are a handful of human players that live there for a year in rotations to collect data for their factions. I've mained a New Zealander server human in the past, and that server's human faction has claims over some of Antarctica, so I'm interested in that server even though I've never played there.
There are some human builds that have, but they simply can't have as much technology and don't have as much other players around them. Although they are still a tier, some are slipping into b tier because of the lack of ice negating the chance of us getting seal xp. But as Arlen Blue said, there is no real reason to do so other than gathering codes to level up our intelligence in other servers. And out of my own kindness, a code: mother seals fat up their offspring to hibernation then leave them on ice where they are safe.
Human players are not struggling for a foothold. They have collectively agree to no permanent settlement and they are actually actively fighting for teritorial claims.
Actually, while their herd tactics defeated the "Spray and Pray" ability human machine gunners used to assault them, humans subsequently placed a bounty on the Emus and won over time, as farmers did a much better job of taking out the Emus on their own.
It's pretty crazy to think about all the horrifying spiders in Australia and then find out that nobody there has died from a spider bite since 1979. The antivenom for redback spiders was invented in 1956 and only one person has died of a redback bite since then.
I cannot stress enough to avoid the Emu builds until you have end-game high-tier equipment. The human players once banded against them with early high-tier equipment, and lost a war to them.
This is an often overlooked bit of the server history. The Emus adopted tactics that many human warrior clans later used to nullify armies with superior equipment. Definitely worth it's own video I think.
As a tätige fan myself who’s username on almost everything is EducatedEmu, I tend to play as them a lot. Even though the emus are quite mobile and intelligent enough to avoid most stealth attacks I still think the cassowary outclasses them just because of it’s extremely strong attack and how easy it can keep levelling up by swallowing their food whole to save time. They are a bit less speedy but they can hold their own against stronger players the emu would usually lose to with their strong kick.
A big part of the loss was due to human players on the server being bad at dealing with the guerilla strategy skill, which the emus had put a surprising amount of skill points in despite how recent this skill is. It is still unknown whether or not the emu build completely counters humans or if it was just the result of an unstable meta after a recent patch. We're unlikely to ever find out though, as the emus unlocked a new perk as a reward for winning the war, which inflicts humans with one of the strongest morale debuffs in the game.
Eh, not really. The high presence of venom and learning to deal with the weird builds are definitely a barrier to entry, but notice how most of the top tiers are occupied by builds that transferred from other servers. Australia went off and did its own thing as a server, but despite the harsh environmental conditions the meta was not that competitive which led to all those un-optimized builds which are getting bodied by the new builds that transfer over now.
Im sure youve mustve gotten a comment like this before, but have you considered doing one of these on various cryptos and mythical animals like bigfoot? Could be something like "Notorious hackers" or "banned builds". Love these vids btw!

Australia is a fascinating server if you compare it to the others in the game. The meta is so unpredictable there that at one time even Emu class players managed to beat the super OP Human build in the Primate class.
i mean they they zerg rushed their xp spawns for a few months. it's not like they actually killed them. it was more of a desperate grief than a real victory.
I think the Cassowary build is superior, personally. Besides the general large birds package, their ability to passively grow resources that benefit themselves is fascinating.
Watching this again as part of a binge, and I think it would be awesome if you could do a sequel to this looking at the banned megafauna that dominated here prior to the arrival of human mains. It could be educational and extremely fascinating.
Australia used to have a lot of tank builds, however after some map and environment changes and the Hominin build players changing server's sore a fast decline in the tank's play style. Basically the Australian tank builds got nerfed though there are still some of the bird tank builds left in the Emu and Cassowary builds which both have very differing play styles. Emu's with a flock grouping play style in open terrain maps. And Cassowary going form more of a stealth solo build in forests and bush land maps.
I´d say saltwater crocodiles are easily one of the best tank builds out there actually. They are hell of a lot easier to play than for example elephants and will potentially last you a lot longer...
Cassowaries actually have recorded fatalities unlike the emu and how can anyone forget the video of the cassowary jumping up and kicking through that fairly solid bit of metal
Kangaroos need a bit more credit. It seems arm length was sacrificed for the kick boxing perk. Any opponent expecting hand to hand combat will be faced with extremely powerful blows from underneath to the torso and legs, severely disabling them. Along with Emus, they've both are yet to unlock reverse gear and so they fully commit to their choices.
Kangaroos specced into energy efficiency as well. No other land animal can move as far for as little energy expenditure. A feat that should not be overlooked in environments where XP is found in small, isolated clusters...
Message to all of those cat and possum mains, pls stahp camping lightweight avian builds within the polynesian servers, if you wan't to indulge in that play style I recommend playing owls or snow-based carnivores, but pls, the polynesian servers used to be alot safer than most other servers and were mainly used to show off emotes.

Well,the possum mains are prety annoying,but being a cat main is pretty fun,as you level up pretty quickly and you can escape most predators by climbing onto places they can't.I do think cat class needs a nerf though
It’d be sorta short, half the creatures that people think are bears aren’t even. We’d have, what... pandas (which are pretty much bottom tier, it’s amazing they still exist in the current meta), polar bears (fairly high tier in terms of stats but very situational, they can’t really survive outside of one server), and black bears and brown bears (middle tiers, they’re intimidating but due to how solitary they are they don’t do well anyways, they kill each other often, die of starvation due to how much XP they require for leveling, and often don’t even survive the tutorials). Builds like red pandas and koalas aren’t actually bears. Basically, they’re mostly overrated builds and there’s not really enough to do a whole tier list.

They have fairly high intelligence, can easily scare off most players, can spot players from up to 20 miles away on the minimap, and human players are often penalized by killing them. They are quite easily the second most powerful class on the North American server.
Well, the server DID originally start off as a jail for players banned from the England server. With some even theorising that the development of the playerbase's accent happened because they kept selecting the alcohol consumable as an in-game beverage, leading to the frequent intoxication influencing their VA's and subsequently their voicepacks
Spiders for days. Redbacks, Whitetails, Golden Orb Weavers, Huntsmen, Wolf Spiders, Mouse Spiders... The Geckoes around my house are getting too fat off of them all.
Tank mammals were used in older versions, but didn't last the introduction of humans to the server. They're viable again these days, see how well buffalo do in the Northern Territory Another notable introduced faction that has flourished is camels, whose water-conserving strategy is perfect for dry hot biomes
For those who are unaware, the Australia playerbase is suffering hugely due to the current wildfire overworld event. I don't know much of the specifics, but I know it's really terrible. Fortunately, there are ways to help. Several human support guilds, such as the Red Cross, RSPCA and World Wildlife Fund, have been gathering in-game currency to pay for various relief resources, so if you have the money to spare, I'm sure the Australian playerbase would be very grateful.
I've heard about it too. It was made worse by the incompetency of the Australia player administrator who got heavily flamed by the server's players and by the players from the other servers.
Turns out the Australian player base got screwed over by all those charities and none of the money that was donated found its way thru the corporate corruption that plagues “charity’s”
1:54 As a human main that plays on the Australian sever, I agree that brown snakes are high tier, even though they’re less poisonous than red belly black snakes, they’re far more agressive. One of my former teammates actually got bitten by one on an “excursion”. They could potentially match up to some of the less intelligent humans.

I've seen that you tend to focus on the PvP meta with your ranking. You tend to forget to mention that while many low hp herbivore classes tend to loose PvP mach ups, that's not really their strategy. The players tend to avoid PvP situations to the best of their ability and instead on focusing on the base stats or singular special abilities to aid in PvP, they put a lot more points on reproduction and resource grinding. And while they obviously loose in PvP, because they never intended to participate, they by far outproduce PvP characters on any situation and tend survive better in PvE and major world events. At least when talking about pure exp or 'biomass' as sometimes referred, the PvP builds never really excel. But of course, they are much more fun to play without the endless grind.
sanataissick nah man, you're forgetting flora players. The herbivore build rely on pvp too. The only ones which actually don't rely on it are most flora players themselves, and not even aĺ of them.
@@yoster39 plants are just characters players make to farm EP (evolution points) for their other animal builds. Just set up a plant build, then AFK it in another browser. Most of them even self-pollinate and produce new characters all on their own.
If you were wondering how many servers there are: There was an April fools update during the human astronomy patch where the devs were so rich they bought thousands of servers to run planets besides Earth. If you logged onto those servers you instantly died. An insider confirmed that these servers are still running. Makes me wonder if they are planning some huge expansion in the future. Anyways, if we just count earth fans can’t decide if Europe and Asia are the same server or not and the devs won’t tell us. Same thing for North & South America. Not counting the mini-servers for islands and the massive ocean server there are something like 3-7 major servers.
Yeah, I agree with Nathan. The two main arthropod builds, the squishy ambush assassin popularized by spiders and scorpions contrasted against the zerg guilds popular with bee, ant, and mayfly players.

Actual Australian here, we actually beat the emus like nothing else. Initially a team of 3 dudes were trying to hunt them, but due to lack of training and experience they failed.
2 months after failure we put a bounty on emus and farmers proceeded to solve the issue in a few weeks.

That perk tree is incomplete, while the quantum physics perk is rare, it is the prerequisite perk for getting 'understanding Rick & Morty jokes' however, those two perks won't get you very far in the human meta.

The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. The other builds might have stronger variants, but it's got very low numbers of human builds, especially near the centre.
Seeing how OP human builds are, their lower numbers in the Australian centre make it one of the more balanced servers out there (although of course Antarctica and the Deep Sea are the most balanced).

I gotta say though there are so many noob classes here though. On top of the Koalas, possums, wombats, etc. you also have all the snake players, which can be hard to spec properly but they're so easy to play - you just camp near someone's spawn and practically wait till they walk into your mouth. They do get ganked hard by kookaburras though.

I think the reason for the lack of dedicated mammal tank builds is the fact that venom is a fairly hard counter to most mammalian tanks, as they are tanks due to high HP, as opposed to reptile tanks which opt instead for high armor. This meant that mammalian tanks simply were not viable due to venom’s damage tending to scale with HP, but requiring low target armor to apply. Introducing armadillos or pangolins tho the meta *could* remedy this, though they are small-scale tanks, as opposed to large tanks like elephants and bears
Monocle Squid Nah, it's all to do with lack of resources and the server split which happened a long time ago. Even the areas which look resource-rich, like the rainforest, can't really support large herbivores. That's why imported pig builds from other servers are still upsetting the meta there a couple hundred years after some server-specific builds found a way to transfer servers.

Not really. For one, no venomous animals there are big enough to hunt large mammals. Secondly, venom damage does not scale with HP, since an amount of damage that would kill a mouse wouldn't necessarily kill a human or any larger animals. The dosage is important.

Onceknown Yeah man, you get huge buffs once you finish the puberty mechanics. Massive increase in intelligence and strength. The erection debuff, although frustrating can add an extra player into your party which is good. It’s hard to get a grip on but you’ll get there.

The Wombat is technically a mini tank. Yes, it is small, but it is also chonky, can move at around the same pace as a dog player, and it's rump of solid cartilage provides +75 resistance to flank attacks, and it can burrow under ground to escape enemies.

The crocodile grabs the animal with his jaws, but that usually down't kill the animal. The bite if mostly for maintaining the grab. The crocodile then will drag the animal into the water and start spinning around to kill the animal via drowning, shock and breaking of bones. But the crocodile's teeth are not fit to bite chunks out of the corpse. Therefore the crocodile will bite with only the tip of the jaw into the animal and start spinning again and that is for tearing out chunks of flesh for consumption.

Roos aren't tanks, they're more mid-tier bruisers. Tank implies a focus on defence, whereas roos put just enough points into defence trees to be able to shrug off one or two large hits without sacrificing mobility, although some roo players I know insist that they started with tanks and then made the necessary sacrifices to unlock the Hopping mobility trait to reduce stamina consumption from running.
Now this is a biology class I can understand!
The introduction of bears into the Australian server could prove to be not too game breaking depending on the bear and where it’s placed, like Victoria would be a great part of the map to place a build like a black bear

Opossums are an American build. At the moment you can only play a nerfed version in Australia - Possums, which is a way less aggressive class. This isn't a build designed to win.
The Australian server is pretty crap for mammals, most classes seem to have spent way too much on aesthetics so it attracts a lot of role players and newbs, and maybe some high tier players who just get drunk every session.

It's true. I think most of the players on Oz serv. play drunk - then most of the Human class players also get their characters drunk. How else do you get people creating something like a platypus? Kookaburras too - who specs a LAUGH as your main intimidate call?
The same people who spec into mimicking a human infant's cry, and then not take advantage of the fact that humans were leaving their shelters at night (when they're super weak) to figure out who was crying- at least not before the human players figured out that niche meta.
If you’re going to do another server video I’d be interested in seeing Antarctica. It seems to be the only place (excluding the space DLC pack which is still in alpha) where human players are struggling to gain to gain a foothold. As a dedicated human player I’d love to see what tips and tricks you might have for such a hostile environment, you focus a lot on PvP but this would really be a chance to talk about the PvE elements of the game.
Charles Gillespie I think that human players are capable of expanding there, but most of the guilds are not interested to spend their resources to do it. So far, only the data miners are interested in maintaining a foothold in that server. I might be wrong tho.

That's a good point, though Antarctica is also unique in that various human factions seem to coexist there peacefully, making it a contender for one of the first decided neutral areas for human players (other than the fairly human player exclusive Outer space server.)
It's really more of a science area, if anything, but there are a handful of human players that live there for a year in rotations to collect data for their factions. I've mained a New Zealander server human in the past, and that server's human faction has claims over some of Antarctica, so I'm interested in that server even though I've never played there.
There are some human builds that have, but they simply can't have as much technology and don't have as much other players around them. Although they are still a tier, some are slipping into b tier because of the lack of ice negating the chance of us getting seal xp.
But as Arlen Blue said, there is no real reason to do so other than gathering codes to level up our intelligence in other servers. And out of my own kindness, a code: mother seals fat up their offspring to hibernation then leave them on ice where they are safe.
Human players are not struggling for a foothold. They have collectively agree to no permanent settlement and they are actually actively fighting for teritorial claims.

Actually, while their herd tactics defeated the "Spray and Pray" ability human machine gunners used to assault them, humans subsequently placed a bounty on the Emus and won over time, as farmers did a much better job of taking out the Emus on their own.

I cannot stress enough to avoid the Emu builds until you have end-game high-tier equipment. The human players once banded against them with early high-tier equipment, and lost a war to them.

This is an often overlooked bit of the server history. The Emus adopted tactics that many human warrior clans later used to nullify armies with superior equipment.
Definitely worth it's own video I think.
As a tätige fan myself who’s username on almost everything is EducatedEmu, I tend to play as them a lot. Even though the emus are quite mobile and intelligent enough to avoid most stealth attacks I still think the cassowary outclasses them just because of it’s extremely strong attack and how easy it can keep levelling up by swallowing their food whole to save time. They are a bit less speedy but they can hold their own against stronger players the emu would usually lose to with their strong kick.
A big part of the loss was due to human players on the server being bad at dealing with the guerilla strategy skill, which the emus had put a surprising amount of skill points in despite how recent this skill is. It is still unknown whether or not the emu build completely counters humans or if it was just the result of an unstable meta after a recent patch. We're unlikely to ever find out though, as the emus unlocked a new perk as a reward for winning the war, which inflicts humans with one of the strongest morale debuffs in the game.

Eh, not really.
The high presence of venom and learning to deal with the weird builds are definitely a barrier to entry, but notice how most of the top tiers are occupied by builds that transferred from other servers. Australia went off and did its own thing as a server, but despite the harsh environmental conditions the meta was not that competitive which led to all those un-optimized builds which are getting bodied by the new builds that transfer over now.
Im sure youve mustve gotten a comment like this before, but have you considered doing one of these on various cryptos and mythical animals like bigfoot? Could be something like "Notorious hackers" or "banned builds". Love these vids btw!

I usually play on the Africa server, my mosquito playthrough has unlocked the malaria ability.
Gotta be careful with that one, some human mains on the North America server are working on a hack to permanently remove that ability.

Australia is a fascinating server if you compare it to the others in the game. The meta is so unpredictable there that at one time even Emu class players managed to beat the super OP Human build in the Primate class.
Turns out, the "Machine Gun Kelly" perk humans had at the time was pretty hard countered by the "Herd Tactics" ability the Emus used.
You forget that humans then just placed bounties on Emus and then won through attrition.
i mean they they zerg rushed their xp spawns for a few months. it's not like they actually killed them. it was more of a desperate grief than a real victory.
though something like 50,000 Emu's still died, so did they really lose the fight?
I think the Cassowary build is superior, personally. Besides the general large birds package, their ability to passively grow resources that benefit themselves is fascinating.

Watching this again as part of a binge, and I think it would be awesome if you could do a sequel to this looking at the banned megafauna that dominated here prior to the arrival of human mains. It could be educational and extremely fascinating.
Australia used to have a lot of tank builds, however after some map and environment changes and the Hominin build players changing server's sore a fast decline in the tank's play style. Basically the Australian tank builds got nerfed though there are still some of the bird tank builds left in the Emu and Cassowary builds which both have very differing play styles. Emu's with a flock grouping play style in open terrain maps. And Cassowary going form more of a stealth solo build in forests and bush land maps.

I´d say saltwater crocodiles are easily one of the best tank builds out there actually. They are hell of a lot easier to play than for example elephants and will potentially last you a lot longer...

Cassowaries actually have recorded fatalities unlike the emu and how can anyone forget the video of the cassowary jumping up and kicking through that fairly solid bit of metal

Kangaroos need a bit more credit. It seems arm length was sacrificed for the kick boxing perk. Any opponent expecting hand to hand combat will be faced with extremely powerful blows from underneath to the torso and legs, severely disabling them.
Along with Emus, they've both are yet to unlock reverse gear and so they fully commit to their choices.
Kangaroos specced into energy efficiency as well.
No other land animal can move as far for as little energy expenditure. A feat that should not be overlooked in environments where XP is found in small, isolated clusters...

yes but infortunatelly kangaroos sacrificed thier INT stat for that and as a result will loose a fight agianst any predator with high INT stat.

pls stahp camping lightweight avian builds within the polynesian servers, if you wan't to indulge in that play style I recommend playing owls or snow-based carnivores, but pls, the polynesian servers used to be alot safer than most other servers and were mainly used to show off emotes.

Well,the possum mains are prety annoying,but being a cat main is pretty fun,as you level up pretty quickly and you can escape most predators by climbing onto places they can't.I do think cat class needs a nerf though

As if Pandas even make D-tier. Human players who care about aesthetics are pretty much the only reason they're not completely out of the game.
It’d be sorta short, half the creatures that people think are bears aren’t even. We’d have, what... pandas (which are pretty much bottom tier, it’s amazing they still exist in the current meta), polar bears (fairly high tier in terms of stats but very situational, they can’t really survive outside of one server), and black bears and brown bears (middle tiers, they’re intimidating but due to how solitary they are they don’t do well anyways, they kill each other often, die of starvation due to how much XP they require for leveling, and often don’t even survive the tutorials). Builds like red pandas and koalas aren’t actually bears. Basically, they’re mostly overrated builds and there’s not really enough to do a whole tier list.

Have you ever played a grizzly bear? They have fairly high intelligence, can easily scare off most players, can spot players from up to 20 miles away on the minimap, and human players are often penalized by killing them. They are quite easily the second most powerful class on the North American server.

Well, the server DID originally start off as a jail for players banned from the England server. With some even theorising that the development of the playerbase's accent happened because they kept selecting the alcohol consumable as an in-game beverage, leading to the frequent intoxication influencing their VA's and subsequently their voicepacks
the australian server is also relentless for humans it is pretty much 50/50 down here

Tank mammals were used in older versions, but didn't last the introduction of humans to the server. They're viable again these days, see how well buffalo do in the Northern Territory
Another notable introduced faction that has flourished is camels, whose water-conserving strategy is perfect for dry hot biomes
For those who are unaware, the Australia playerbase is suffering hugely due to the current wildfire overworld event. I don't know much of the specifics, but I know it's really terrible. Fortunately, there are ways to help. Several human support guilds, such as the Red Cross, RSPCA and World Wildlife Fund, have been gathering in-game currency to pay for various relief resources, so if you have the money to spare, I'm sure the Australian playerbase would be very grateful.
I've heard about it too. It was made worse by the incompetency of the Australia player administrator who got heavily flamed by the server's players and by the players from the other servers.

1:54 As a human main that plays on the Australian sever, I agree that brown snakes are high tier, even though they’re less poisonous than red belly black snakes, they’re far more agressive. One of my former teammates actually got bitten by one on an “excursion”. They could potentially match up to some of the less intelligent humans.

I remember when I joined the game I started in Australia like an idiot and I kept losing my life but after a while i knew everything and now I own a tribe
I've seen that you tend to focus on the PvP meta with your ranking. You tend to forget to mention that while many low hp herbivore classes tend to loose PvP mach ups, that's not really their strategy. The players tend to avoid PvP situations to the best of their ability and instead on focusing on the base stats or singular special abilities to aid in PvP, they put a lot more points on reproduction and resource grinding. And while they obviously loose in PvP, because they never intended to participate, they by far outproduce PvP characters on any situation and tend survive better in PvE and major world events. At least when talking about pure exp or 'biomass' as sometimes referred, the PvP builds never really excel. But of course, they are much more fun to play without the endless grind.

The only ones which actually don't rely on it are most flora players themselves, and not even aĺ of them.

@@yoster39 plants are just characters players make to farm EP (evolution points) for their other animal builds. Just set up a plant build, then AFK it in another browser. Most of them even self-pollinate and produce new characters all on their own.

If you were wondering how many servers there are:
There was an April fools update during the human astronomy patch where the devs were so rich they bought thousands of servers to run planets besides Earth. If you logged onto those servers you instantly died. An insider confirmed that these servers are still running. Makes me wonder if they are planning some huge expansion in the future.
Anyways, if we just count earth fans can’t decide if Europe and Asia are the same server or not and the devs won’t tell us. Same thing for North & South America. Not counting the mini-servers for islands and the massive ocean server there are something like 3-7 major servers.
