- The secret quest for the crystal key to open the coral chest of light and dark chest of the underworld is probably the most in-depth series of secret objectives in the game. In this video, I show you how to accomplish both tasks - from finding the key in a new, hidden area, to how to charge it with musical energy for each of the chests - as well as showing the prize contained in each chest. They didn't find this stuff in game. People are data mining the games files. There is no way this stuff would be discovered naturally through normal play

@@SwordWieldingDuck after people get bored beating the end boss over and over they will inevitably explore areas, but the hints are still super cryptic and I can't read finnish runes... Like many things in noita it's all a big mystery.
@@Helpertin noita has been criticized alot for having secrets that are either too vague or way to cryptic. The black chest key is a great example because you basically get 2 hints and 1 of them isn't even a good one (the dot pattern on the wall)
I find it funny that I heard "Spells to Nukes" without reaction, then nearly spat out my drink at "Spells to Giga Sawblades".
Nuke? Pfft. Giga Sawblade? Now _that's_ dangerous! :D
to be fair, giga sawblades are more likely to kill you then a nuke in this game
Fury, the End of Everything symbol is engraved in the skull under the blood chest. Have you tried casting the spell in that room?
maybe an alternate way to unlock the chest, maybe nothing, maybe the chest is immune to E. O. E.
It is worth noting that the symbol itself is a simple version of the real world alchemical symbol for the philosophers' stone.

Seriously, Noita is sick, but this channel is such a part of why I keep playing it.
The secrecy of the game is a huge draw, but knowing what to work towards and how to do it is what motivates me to do 50 failed runs so I can get that god run.

I have done hundreds of failed runs and haven't done a single god run. Haven't finished this fucking game since june...
@@533mama Changing how you start can help keep things fresh when you're getting frustrated with progress. Learning how to spell wrap will make things much easier earlygame too.

@@pitjesgv spell wrap is firerate increase mechanic which is based on putting spell mod after spell (not before as we used to do) so you'll be shooting two spells with only one in slot or more

I'm sitting at about 25 hours of playtime over the last 2 months and I truly feel like I will never ever EVER see everything this game has to offer. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your videos for this game, I get a LOT out of them each and every time you post.
The official release is crazy. Put 100 hours into the alpha and here I aim seeing an entirely new world to explore.
As I continue to die on the 3rd and 4th worlds as per usual....I will always remember....there's another 98.3% of the game I may never manage to get to...At least I keep coming back for more...that's somethin

It's incredible. I LOVE it.
just in case this is somewhat usefull, cause I didnt find pics on google, but I found a giant room in the shape of an eye whilst exploring with dark holes, digging down and to the left mostly (some turns that sadly I cannot remember). The room is a giant eye the size of the screen, with a portal in the middle. the room had 8 or 10 high "tier" spells free for pickup and the portal in the middle took me to the hissi base, on some room with no exit right on top of a shop, where I was placed inside of an hourglass made with glass and a strange statue forming part of the background. To reach the eye I had to eat through a lot of red rock but there might be a better way of reaching the place.

you need to pour about a flasks worth of teleportatium into the hourglass to open a portal to the eye room
Where is the hourglass located, I've been to the hiisi shop but don't know where it was.

Now you can have a wand with: long distance cast-> add timer->teleport->spell to blackhole and literally have an ultimate traveling wand.

I wish there were more "secrets" instead of actual secrets. It's all just way too hidden and impossible for me without spoiler videos like this.

@@Helpertin Most of the secrets were discovered in the first week just by people playing the game back when it was just released. Are there are many clues that there is more than meets the eyes.

The key to finding out about the game's secrets is something as simple as a digging wand with a black hole on it. That's all it takes to start finding secrets. Hell, anyone who play the game for more than a few minutes would try to go over that lava lake in the mines, or would find areas affected by magical darkness. There are hints all around that this game is more than just descending towards the final boss.
I do not mind watching these videos as I know they are spoiler but when I will try to get the game I will in some way even if encapsed in my mind be unaware or perhaps forgoten or at be able to experience it by being capable of exploring it onto this journey
I hope it does make sense as it was late

these secrets are crazy, im not very good so i havent beaten the boss yet but i like seeing the secrets this game has. I do get a little sad you have to do these insane secrets to unlock some neat spells but i also understand why, it would be dissapointing to get these secrets done only to be rewarded with nothing and neat spells are one possible reward

Are there any in-game hints on why these notes specifically should be played? I know the notes for the portal are hidden in the tunnel connecting Snowy Depths to Lava Lake... where's the other hints?
It's a pretty old video so I doubt you're gonna see this... but here's hoping :)
They should add in some Ocarina of Time reference or Majora's Mask reference with the Ocarina. Like maybe the song of healing heals you or something. And the Song of Storms spawns a lightning cloud. Or maybe they could just do the song of time and create an area that rewinds after a set period of time.

hey furyforged, I was wondering if you could help me out or do a video on seed changers and how to change your seed in Noita 1.0, because NoitaSeedChanger and other subsequent seed modifiers are outdated etc. thank you

Anyway, for you and anyone else looking that this comment: you can do a search for "Noita Start With Set Seed Dregu" and it'll pop up the mod we use. It's on the ModWorkshop website and is by Dregu. It's a pretty simple mod to install and use.

I had found a Magma Rock thingy in the place near the Arena
It made any liquids nearby to Lava. You can also pick it back up.
(i am unsure about its location. All i know is that it exists and its effect. It releases a effect similar to the portals, just Red.)

Who needs to know the specific notes, just get a shuffle wand with 30 slots, put in all the music notes and leave a rubber band on your mouse holding down LMB
I'm pretty sure 26 is the max, so you'd have to hope that you didn't leave out a key note. Pun intended.

Watching your videos about all these Noita secrets makes me wonder if it's even possible to figure them out just by yourself without any hints.

A suggestion for future videos about spoilers: Separate the process and the reward(s) into different sections, some might be here because they can't figure out how to unlock these secrets, but would still like to be surprised by the results.
It's a small thing, but I think it would be appreciated.
For example you could use the UA-cam feature where you can put sections into videos and label them, so they're visible on the video progress bar, that way they could skip the rewards for the first chest and into how to unlock the other chest.
Anyway thanks for the great guides, they've been supremely helpful when trying to figure out this game.

When you just watched a video of a person speaking excrutiatingly slow, sped up the video to 1.5 and now the opening dude of fury's channel REALLY forges in a fury!

It is a massive group effort. Different people think differently and have different backgrounds, knowledge, and creative mental leaps.
This game is nuts. You have the innocent normal rogue lite game on the surface but this DEEP DEEP secrecy behind it all. It's like the dark web you just gotta get behind google and facebook first, haha.
There's so much content in this game there needs to be more ways to heal to see it all
There's a giant Hour Glass right side of Hissi Base. Interested to see what that's about.
Put blood or teleportlium in it for gold and a portal to a secret, respectively

You dont necessarily need 3 G's to open the Bloody chest,you can play the song note by note and it opens :)
That actually did not work when I tested it. I tried on a variety of wands in 2 different runs for a few hours to play it one note at a time and, nope.

Accidentally found the instrument inside the tree and wondered what it was for. Was gonna try to experiment but have failed to get wants that are good enough to survive through.

How often do you actually get RNG good enough to make it to the boss and beyond?
So I tried going back to the mines from the ice area... and I got destroyed by a mini version of the final boss. You do need an orb for it to spawn though.
Pretty sure that's the other mini boss he was talking about.
I think he talked about it, yeah. It's the one that drops Matosade, Meteorsade, and something else I forgot.
@@dusaprukiyathan1613 Oh so the orb that spawns a random enemy now spawns that miniboss? I was so spooked yesterday when i met him. I came back to him with a lightsaber godwand and it still took me few minutes to kill him. So good.
@@gen-mhi It seems like it frees the miniboss from an EDR cage, rather than spawning it. Also, supposedly it's freed if you go to that area with ANY orb, but I am too bad at vidja gaems to try it.
Im confused, ive found one of the divide-by spells in a normal run on a random wand (either drop or in the holy mountain shop, i forget). Without ever having done any of those secrets to unlock them.
Yeah, there was a bug and they were unlocked immediately for everyone, so if you picked one up already, then congrats, it’s now unlocked for you. If not, then you should now have to do this in order to unlock them.
This is quite amazing .... but .... do you really think any of the normal Noita players would be able to solve these secrets? Or even try solving them by putting in time required? Personally i check videos of these secrets because they are just something i dont want to spend XXX amount of time on. Most of my runs in Noita are just "get in, get some perks, make some weird wands and test them".
As complicated as These secrets are, they are probably really meant to be a community effort and not to be obtained by a single person solving them. So you are pretty much required to watch such videos or consult the wiki.

I did the end of everything quest and now the big tree is gone, and so is the jukebox. Does that mean I can't do the light chest in this run?

The giga sawblades is actually way more scarier than nuke, at least you can get nuke immunity.

Does it mean when you start a new game you start with those spells you got ?
Nope. The spells from these chests are "locked" and will never appear in your runs until you unlock them from these chests. Then, they'll begin to appear on wands (rarely) and in certain shops and in chests.

How do you end up having so much health for these videos? My highest HP through a run has been ~500 through perks and max HP hearts. I've been having very inconsistent runs, and having much more HP seems like it would help a lot! Btw, these puzzles are so complex, its incredible how people find these things out!

There’s also a trick with heartache mages that lets you amplify the effect of heart pickups dramatically
that mini boss had to have been added on the "end of everything" buff update. it wasnt there immediately after 1.0. i had started a game only a few hrs after 1.0 release and explored the lab. the orb room was there but no boss. my want didnt have anything crazy so i doubt i accidentally killed it off screen.
It was there the day before release as well, so either you killed it somehow, it moved through the ground or there was a bug.
They are giving the modders so much power oh no

Oof, I'm still trying to get my first 1.0 win (prior to release, it was much easier). The new enemies, perks, spells, and level generation has already thrown me off. I have a lot of learning-through-death to do before I have a shot at a win, much less the unlocks.
