man, I lov the level at which we are now. Like, "here is the SIMPLE guide: 1. Create new sun 2. Devour two moons..." Yeah, just like that. From practising simpl spells to... this
I thought Noita was just a little game with a cool mechanic and I had stopped playing it after a couple hours without even beating it... a revisit may be worth it.
It's got more hidden and optional content than most games. These aren't even all the secrets, just the ones that reward the player with in-game achievements. There is a lot of lore hidden around throughout the worlds, plus at least 2 secrets that we've been trying to solve for a year now.
@@ythunderboy8694 there's still at least one major thing people are trying to solve. a bunch of hidden eyes looking in various directions that seems like it might be some kind of encryption. recently the devs added a new secret though, which, as you go through the steps to solve it tells you through spell names to 'stop what you're doing' and 'go touch grass', and eventually leads to a similar encryption puzzle, which when solved (using methods that people have been trying unsuccessfully on the first puzzle) basically translates to 'you're looking for stuff where there is none'.... .... this has not convinced people to stop trying to solve the puzzle AT ALL.
I started it 10 or 11 months ago, put it off until the end of April, worked on it again on and off while getting other videos out since...and then, finally, have put about 250 hours into it over the last few weeks to get it finished. For better or worse, it's finally finished.
My mind is absolutely blown, I’ve had this game for a month, played it once in awhile, only ever made it to that jungle part.. and then I watch this. I had no idea how huge the world was, or the depth of it all.

It's important to note that you can only trigger one lunar event per moon per NG cycle. For example, completing the drunk moon event will no longer allow the moon to be able to be consumed for the sunseed quest. If you're going for sunseed quests, make sure not to accidentally trigger these in the process.
I have just started playing this game about a week ago and there is so much more depth and whatnot than I initially thought. This is easily becoming one of my top 5 games of all time
I really loved all the old clips mixed in, I got big nostalgia from the old colours and health bar. Also wow thank you for the shoutout, I'm happy I was able to contribute in some way :D. This video was absolutely epic, what will you do next?
Seeing how crazy some of these are in comparison to a normal run you've got to wonder if there are any secrets still left to discover, makes it fun to watch videos about the game even if I can't run it myself (though some wands will destroy even a good pc lol).
I have about 20h in this game right now and I just clicked in this video to see what's ahead of me. There's no way I'll remember any of this (which is by choice), but it's funny to gaze into the void and see what gazes back. :D I'm in my "didn't know simple spells can be used to do 1000dmg or more" Noita phase. No idea what the dark sun is and if it's edible.
Regular open world games: "so I've raided the bandit castle, killed two dragons, and defeated the arch wizard." Noita: "So I've burrowed to the bottom of the world to complete a machine to turn the entire world to gold, turned the moon into a sun, and brought about an apocalyptic rain of hungry worms."
So, I actually don't know if you covered this before, but while I was messing around with the game, I noticed both extremely high in the sky, and ridiculously low beneath the Laboratory, there appear to be a pair of shops with *very* powerful effects for sale. Though time consuming to reach, the spells offered can be insane... If you've both the patience to get them, and the means to survive the trip there and back.
Just checking! Must have missed it then. Which one was it in again? I know it made a very brief appearance in As Above, So Below due to it being well, right above the Dark Moon.
Here I am just enjoying the fact I finally reached and killed the final boss after (130 hours and lots of youtube tutorials). There is so damn much to the seemingly simple game.... its mind boggling.

9:30 This might change in the future? I thought Nolla had announced that there weren't going to be any more major updates to the game? Has that changed, or did I have that wrong? I'd love to hear I was wrong, and more content is coming!
That's debatable topic. They said that there will be no new content, but there are few bugs that "are fixed but were not pushed into beta". Well, if those bugs are fixed, what are they waiting for?
Tho they are definitely more of an achievement than the typical "You played the game!" achievements that feel like some kind of half-assed participation trophy.
Noita has so much hermetic teachings and beliefs it is crazy! The average gamers might just think this is just the game, but noooo everything in this game is from secret society like the Order of the Golden Dawn. As above, so below.
Interesting. I remember doing the 1 minute challenge using that Daily practice thing, but with a different wand. It was something with Tentacle timers and Bubble spark? I remember digging through that 1st wooden barrier with Bubble spark. Maybe Tentacle timer wasn't unlocked or something for your run and you got Magic bolt timer instead? Or it was something with an AC on one of the wands.
As the game has updated and they've added new things, those new spells/items/perks might displace the old ones in seeds. So a seed from last year will not be the same if you run it today, as far as those are concerned (and, especially in the Mines, chest spawns have changed, so a lot of great chest seeds from the past no longer contain great chests.)
The super-hidden true multiplayer mode...unfortunately, there are tree pillars for both the eyes and cauldron secrets, as well as for secrets we haven't even found yet, so it might be awhile before we can play with friends :( I'm kidding. Please don't kill me.
Nope. The tele-kick causes them to open. There was briefly a bug in which tele-kick didn't actually count as a kick, but then they fixed that. Kicking the monk stones replaces the inanimate stone with the monk enemy and it's the inanimate stone you need to get up to the altar. Tele-kick won't work.
That’s because I’ve made individual in-depth video guides of every single secret in this game over the past three years and linked to all those in the description of this video.
