Have fun! Remember to be careful with the Tannerkivi. If you kick with it in your inventory (doesn't have to be selected) then it causes small earthquakes. The falling debris can kill you. So, as long as you are patient and careful, you can use that item along with the eye to get anywhere, pretty much.

I found a mod that adds a drop of heals (like 1 in 50 mobs killed) that heal for 10HP, and I have to say it made the game way more fun now, it allows me to explore the levels more instead of rushing to the end to get the 100% heal.

This is awesome! You haven't lived until you find a wand that has 4 chainsaw spells in it and has "always cast Magic Missile". It's absurdly destructive!
Since you asked for it, if you had bought the wand with the two digging bolts on it, you could have had the Spark Bolt with Trigger cast it to make just a ton of blood on hit. It's not as good as having a trigger into chainsaw or Phasing arc, Piercing, and Homing on chainsaws (which is my new favorite wand build).
faster method for tanerkivi/eyeball mining when going straight down: drop the rock and hold the eyeball. that way you don't have to keep swapping and can kick
be super careful if you try to do it this way - sometimes the Tannerkivi earthquake triggers when it hits the ground too hard even if you didn't kick (learned this the hard way twice)
I really enjoy the mindset of the devs of this game, always coming up with such fun and bizarre interactions. Fury deserves credit for being a great narrator and explorer of noita too.
You could also go to the Gold biome with the tannerkivi and eye using this method. Which is what I'm off to do in a new game right now after I pick up the minigun! Awesome, thanks for sharing the strat.
It's incredible how quickly you can spend 250,000 gold when you get addicted to perk rerolling. It's worth studying the sketchy mechanics of the perk reroll machine. I'll summarize: if you arrive at the first 2-3 holy mountains and there are no perks you like, leave them and move on. Speed-run to the next holy mountain. Already-discovered perk reroll machines will not have their reroll costs increased when you activate another perk reroll machine later. So if you visit the first 3 holy mountains without using the perk reroll machine or claiming the perks, you can reroll all 3 of them for 200 gold each. When you do so, the cost will update to the "new" minimum perk reroll cost, so the third one will jump from 200 to 1600 when you reroll it. But if you're in for the long haul going to parallel worlds to claim all of the perks, remember this. Rerolling will quickly become unafforable if you don't capitalize on this knowledge.
33:53 - Vampirism is my favorite perk, and I fully agree. For me personally, it helps me get those long runs started, but after I get Greek spells and a heal spell I rarely use it.

12:16 Unexpected Borat lol Seriously though, thank you for your content. I love this game, but I find myself getting frustrated quite a bit. You've helped me find more enjoyment with Noita than I thought possible :D
Really appreciate this guide. I don't have the patience to plasma-dig for half an hour, but I find myself going for the chaingun whenever I make a decent digging wand. I found out yesterday that I _really_ love when I find Pinpointer on a run like this, since it fixes the chaingun's poor spread and causes even Spitter Bolt spells to become effective long range, richochet-capable bullets thanks to the shot speed buff. (Also, even if I keep managing to almost kill myself by kicking, the Tannerkivi strat alone is super helpful for those runs where you're overpowered but can't find anything to break out of Holy Mountain with, so thanks for that, too.)
Something interesting I've found with the Evil Eye: Some enemies have projectiles that explode on contact with you, and rarely, some of those projectiles get instantly detonated when they enter the plasma beam created by the Eye. If you have the reaction time, you can make them explode before they hit you, and negate the damage entirely.
So apparently putting bloodlust (the spell that ups damage but let’s the projectile hurt you) on the minigun wand turns it into jetpack joyride if you don’t have the low recoil perk. it’s does an insane amount of DPS for the simplicity, but also yeets you in the opposite direction. Experimental Wand + Brass>Lively Concoction fungal shift has been a VERY fun experience for me, lmao. A few Faster Wands perks, a couple Extra Slot, and a Higher Mana, Lower Capacity has turned this thing into a beast.
Still to this day YT won't stop recommending this video for me. Btw I think the absolute best spell combo to use in the minigun wand is ping-pong path+luminous drill, that'll make it a tremendous digging wand and high damage output.
I had an interesting combo with the chaingun. I used long distance cast freezing field and it brought my computer to it's knees. I played with bullet time anytime i shot.
another quick way possibly of getting over the tree, chaotic polymorphine, turns you into enemies within the game, you can try to to morph into a flying one, or a worm which goes through tiles, especially the tree
"Ah, I began with mud on this run. Nice..." Thanks, I got my first win in less than 40 deaths in part thanks to your videos, especially this video. Noita is one of the most difficult metroidvania/roguelike games I've ever encountered, but the massive power you can attain leads to loads of fun. I am a bit of a cheater, having spoiled a lot of the game's secrets watching you, Albino, Dunk, and Queeb. I also utilize the "hidden folders" on my computer for "saves," but the depth of this game cannot really be spoiled. You just have to experience this game for yourself to really appreciate it, and the vanilla experience without mods is ruthless and incredible. The way the soundtrack changes when you take damage or encounter enemies is some of the best ambience in a game I've ever travelled. Thank you for the assistance, and sorry I was late to the Noita game. EDIT: You mention alchemy and brass, and I am reminded about the history behind brass and what it was once called in ancient times, and it's relevance to alchemy especially. In ancient times, there was a metal that resisted rust, and was stronger than the ingredients needed to make it. The ingredients were copper and zinc, which today we call brass. In ancient times this alloy was called ORICALCUM, and is considered the very first alloy discovered/developed by man. This entangles it with the history of alchemy from the very beginning.
an advice for all who try this method: when you come to the part where you dig straight down, it's far more efficient to just drop the tannerkivi, then dig down and let the tannerkivi fall down following you, you can safe up to 60% of the time by doing this since you save the time needed to switch, then jump up, then switch again etc. alternatively use the free fall above the fungal cavern to skip the top 1/3 of the way. if you are lucky you can even find a wand with a better digging method than the evil eye
alchemy definitely needs more payoffs and consistency. LC/midas/healthium aren't even payoffs at all when the gold vault exists and you can infintely loop healing spells
alchemy is the study of transmutation into other objects- but an alchemist's best friend is science, not magic, as the study of how the world works is the best way to understand how transmutation works. also it gives you a sweet chaingun with unlimited ammo how cool is that??
took me like 30 minutes to get there and back, can't say i will go for the machine gun start again but reaching the overgrown cavern early is very nice so i'm keeping that
I guess it's probably known already, but you can get the first tablet on top of the mountain, and then use the levitate exploit to move yourself up on the tree :")
Kummitus can spawn with this one, be careful out there guys. Some people turn kummitus off all together, but i think hes kind of funny. And he also gave me an chaingun so...
I just made it all the way to Kolmi for the fifth time now, with the strongest run I’ve ever had, mainly that I had a wand with “always cast field of vigor” and another that cast gravity field, which I combined with that mushroom spell. I was winning, kolmi lost his shell for the first time, and started moving erratically, which was weird. Then he... tackled me? And I died immediately to “Kolmi’s projectile”? WHAT?! That’s the closest I’ve ever been to beating him and I don’t know what I died to
@@FuryForged I don't think this seed works quite the same anymore, after getting the Tannerkivi I can't seem to dig down where you did, unless I am looking in the wrong place.. it's all extremely dense rock which the eye cannot dig through =( EDIT: I just realized you can use the Tannerkivi to turn the rock.. I am new and dumb, so yeah =)
Completely random question, is there any secret use for this experimental wand? Isn't it weird you find it inside one of those special structures? I also just noticed, doesn't it very suspiciously look like a key??
Well, this is now leading me on a rabbit hole of UA-cam searches. Chaingun location (like how do you know where to dig down) Noita Hourglass (wth is that thing and how do you find it and what did you pour in it?!) And a lot more haha
I spent about 30 to 45 minutes getting a digging wand, bringing the essence of earth to an essence eater, and digging down to the chain gun room just to get immediately killed by projectile resistant enemies. And of course the first thing I see when I open youtube is a guide on how to get the chain gun properly. Now that's cruel irony
Nice. It's a really great game if you enjoy rogue-lites. It's difficult, but it has more crazy stuff and more secrets than any game ever. I mean, how often in games can you create a sun and then wield it as a world-destroying weapon? lol. Have a nice day.
guess how i unlocked the leggy mutation perk a hiisi got polymorphed into a leggy mimic. i didnt think it would actually give me the perk but it was funny

Would've been good to know that kicking would cause an earthquake to collapse on me right after getting it lol
another quick way possibly of getting over the tree, chaotic polymorphine, turns you into enemies within the game, you can try to to morph into a flying one, or a worm which goes through tiles, especially the tree
i died because if this, i became that giant purple phantom worm, got past the tree and got stuck in snow... but is a good method
40 seconds into the video and all I can think to myself is "I've had like, 11 Slime rain runs... And I don't have ANY of the seeds..."
FML.
There's just something about the "medieval fantasy AND THIS GUN I FOUND" archetype that lights up the dopamine receptors in my brain. A+
Oh Fury, what a big gun you have
one of my very first runs had blood rain, wish i knew it was rare
an advice for all who try this method: when you come to the part where you dig straight down, it's far more efficient to just drop the tannerkivi, then dig down and let the tannerkivi fall down following you, you can safe up to 60% of the time by doing this since you save the time needed to switch, then jump up, then switch again etc. alternatively use the free fall above the fungal cavern to skip the top 1/3 of the way. if you are lucky you can even find a wand with a better digging method than the evil eye
alchemy definitely needs more payoffs and consistency. LC/midas/healthium aren't even payoffs at all when the gold vault exists and you can infintely loop healing spells
they're good for earlygame
Those are more like blessings of the RNGsus and you're not meant to obtain them consistently. The other alchemic interactions have some utility too.
@@CopiHuman ahh yes, let me just mix urine, polymorphine, and hastium "early"
Newer players should note that kicking with the Tannerkivi in your inventory will cause a small earthquake that can kill you.
Bro was teasing the meat world all the back here
Yo this is cool I love all the secrets you find your insane my man love your content
Always worth it waiting for your vids! Love it :)
alchemy is the study of transmutation into other objects- but an alchemist's best friend is science, not magic, as the study of how the world works is the best way to understand how transmutation works. also it gives you a sweet chaingun with unlimited ammo how cool is that??
took me like 30 minutes to get there and back, can't say i will go for the machine gun start again but reaching the overgrown cavern early is very nice so i'm keeping that
the fact that it says familiar orb of true knowledge infers that the character remembers everything even when they have died
I guess it's probably known already, but you can get the first tablet on top of the mountain, and then use the levitate exploit to move yourself up on the tree :")
summon eggs is probably the coolest thing to putt on a chain gun... basically create an army of enemies to serve you...
enjoyed this full run mr forged.
Kummitus can spawn with this one, be careful out there guys. Some people turn kummitus off all together, but i think hes kind of funny. And he also gave me an chaingun so...
Imagine he would have combined the eat your vegetables with this run.
WHAT?! That’s the closest I’ve ever been to beating him and I don’t know what I died to
As someone who has barely gotten thru the first zone so far.... I am confused and scared..
i'm gonna defeat you with the power of friendship!
and this gun i found
You can also use the digging method to get to the gold room
I just tried this with a different seed that starts you with a mud potion. And it worked! But yeah, the digging down takes patience!
its genuinely so fun to watch
37:30 "oh you know what? yeah! ... UHHHH nevermind" lmfao
Says: "If you ever encounter a blood rain, share the seed"
**Doesn't share the seed**
Good job 👏
That's because the seed can be seen right after the intro of the vid ;D
@@FuryForged Oh, my bad then
@@FuryForged I don't think this seed works quite the same anymore, after getting the Tannerkivi I can't seem to dig down where you did, unless I am looking in the wrong place.. it's all extremely dense rock which the eye cannot dig through =(
EDIT: I just realized you can use the Tannerkivi to turn the rock.. I am new and dumb, so yeah =)
Fury is adorable when he chuckles to himself
Completely random question, is there any secret use for this experimental wand? Isn't it weird you find it inside one of those special structures?
I also just noticed, doesn't it very suspiciously look like a key??
Nah it doesnt go that deep
oooof i had a blood rain n my first ever ( i think) run and i didnt know they were rare so now i feel stupid for not knowing
another passionate noita alchemist!
what fun!!!!
Well, this is now leading me on a rabbit hole of UA-cam searches.
Chaingun location (like how do you know where to dig down)
Noita Hourglass (wth is that thing and how do you find it and what did you pour in it?!)
And a lot more haha
I spent about 30 to 45 minutes getting a digging wand, bringing the essence of earth to an essence eater, and digging down to the chain gun room just to get immediately killed by projectile resistant enemies. And of course the first thing I see when I open youtube is a guide on how to get the chain gun properly. Now that's cruel irony
I have no idea what this is about, but it is entertaining. Thank you for the video.
Have you played Noita at all, or was this video just randomly recommended to you? And, thanks - you're welcome.
@@FuryForged The latter. It randomly popped up in my feed.
Nice. It's a really great game if you enjoy rogue-lites. It's difficult, but it has more crazy stuff and more secrets than any game ever. I mean, how often in games can you create a sun and then wield it as a world-destroying weapon? lol. Have a nice day.
guess how i unlocked the leggy mutation perk
a hiisi got polymorphed into a leggy mimic. i didnt think it would actually give me the perk but it was funny
I once got a blood rain seed when I was just starting out. I didn't know how rare they were so I was like, "oh hey it's raining blood" and assumed it was common. R.I.P.
I have been trying for hours to get this gun and I always die in some noita'd ass way. I finally, finally got to where the gun is, roasted the wall away and my stupid twitchy nervous fingers right clicked, the the eye and melted myself. In the gun room dude I hattteeeeeee
This is a very bloody video. Lot of blood. Oceans of blood, in fact.
That luminous drill was actually kinda insane for shooting around corners since it was on a trigger spell.
UA-cam brought me here. This looks like a very fun game!
Put water in chain gun and see what happens (things go crazy )
i havent played a second of this game but this looks awesome. and hard.
It's an incredible game. It *is* difficult but, like a Souls game, extremely rewarding the more you learn.
This guy turned Noita into Ultrakill...
Huh...I knew Chainsaw and the Digging Bolt series could break meat into blood, but I never knew that Spark Bolt w/ Double Trigger was *that* effective at creating blood
Spark Bolt with double trigger has a slight explosion on it like the other two.
This video is so cool because it's actually pretty funny!
So much to learn
Nice video
