If it's not filled up or found and destroyed it's possible that it'll simply wash away.
@@farismallah5740 I'm basing it off the logic of there needing to be a powerful will to form it, I'm assuming it also needs said will to keep it together, and if no one is there it'll kinda fall apart before just becoming part of the Sea of Screams again.
this probably is the case, looking at savathuns throne when she was MIA while in custody of mara sov her throne world was decomposing, we see her old throne world in ruin in the swamp area the area there is all the destroyed buildings, so it probably is the case that Xivus throne world will fall into similar ruin
@@Noblesix84as far as we know, throne worlds can decay to a certain degree, but they cannot fully undo themselves. Drifter has access to a vacant throne world where he pulls the taken he uses for Gambit, he has access, but not control or ownership over it, as it is vacant. Now we also know that smaller throne worlds, like the mindbender's, cannot be sustained without it's creator's will and end up collapsing upon themselves. This leads me to believe that a throne world can only remain by itself, uncontrolled, if it's large enough or has been controlled by a powerful enough being, while smaller throne worlds do not have the raw energy necessary to maintain themselves.
@voltus20 if you're referencing Bright Side of a Bad Idea, it's pretty clearly _not_ a throne world being discussed: "He's secured a pocket of the Ascendant plane. With Xivu Arath now banished from her own Throne World, no doubt losing a lot of her power, and the Witness currently in the Traveler, I could see Eramis try to take advantage of the situation and try to get what’s left of her house away from the Witness and Xivu Arath’s remaining forces. However, she’ll need help, and while she doesn’t trust the Guardians or Mithrax, she is desperate and might turn to Eido for help. This could potentially be a plot next season
I hope not lol that would be nothing like erimis she is made to be jaded till the day she dies this is shown by here nearly killing all her people when she opened up the vex gate.
We still have to deal with accessing the portal in the traveler, so that's 100% going to be the focus next season. I do see Eramis being more relevant *after* The Final Shape, maybe in the second episode, as it seems to be related to the scorn, and one of the big things she feared from the witness was how he was turning her old friends and allies into scorn. Maybe there could be some tie in there.

The banishment might make Xivu desperate. She might lash out, hoping to take as many down with her as she can. I think this situation made her even more dangerous.
Some possible outcomes of these events are that A) Xivu will beg Savathun to help rid her of her worm before it devours her. B) She will attempt to take Oryx's Dreadnaught and claim it as her new Throne World (the fact that the dreadnought is basically a throneworld twisted inside out to manifest in the material plane could help with this). C) She will go all out and try to take as many of us with her as possible.
@@gilgameshlancer88 No, Oryx died in his own Throne World. It is impossible for him to revive via his Throne. The only possible ways he could come back is through the light or by hive necromancy. The problem with both methods is that necromancy is forbidden by hive law, and with the light the lucent hive did attempt to revive Oryx by giving him a ghost however this was stopped by the guardian in ghosts of the deep dungeon and afterwards Oryx’s body was taken by the vanguard to contained in to prevent the lucent hive from making another attempt.
I feel like Mara is going to find the Black terrace and make it her own. She's already proven her ability to navigate the ascendant planes and spaces. Loved the vid. Good job bud.
It's possible. That could also open the possibility to whoever is left inside forming a new brood in her absence, and taking ownership of the throne world, if they are powerful enough, especially after her failure.
I think Xivu's banishment may have her do something risk, maybe try to take over what was once Oryx's throne world as her own, after all Oryx's throne world was the dreadnought so she may try to take that and in one hell of a thing try to ram the earth and maybe the traveler with the dreadnought to take her enemy's with her and to hopefully be finally free to join her kin.

It’s important to note that Toland’s quote wasn’t referring to a Throne World vacancy. He was referring to a vacancy in the Hive power structure. When Oryx was killed in the Taken King campaign he was banished to his own Throne, trapped within until he could return to physical form. This is why Eris sent us to kill Alak-Hul, as he was a prime candidate to take up the reigns while Oryx was indisposed. Honestly this entire situation had better be explored in greater detail in the coming weeks, because it’s bad enough that the banishment was lacklustre. We have no idea whether Xivu’s connection to the Throne has been severed entirely, or if she simply cannot return to it. Even that fundamental distinction has wildly different knock on effects.
@@MrVidman14 Not the point. Whether she’s just been banished or had her connection severed is the issue at hand. The connection being severed means her Throne World would have likely collapsed as Oryx’s did. Being banished ensures that Xivu is still maintaining the Throne despite not being able to return. Both have wildly different implications.
@@seanmurphy7845 you really think Eris would not consider that when Banishing her, if she can still use her throne world that would mean that she can still have her forces invade the Sol system

We'll most likely get our first good look at her either in The Final Shape as a cutscene or cinematic, followed by some real action in the Heresy episode
If Xivu were to find her way back into her throne world, would she be able to reclaim it by default? Oryx had absolute control over his and was able to conjure his wipe mechanic despite our fireteam proving that we were the strongest in the throne world and not him
Gonna have a wonderful time with the post final shape stories w/ Xivu. Her dealing with this AND the witness possibly losing? goot shit incoming, that is for certain.
My question is how permanent the banishment is. Obviously Xivu is not as cunning as Savathun or even Eris. So I don’t expect to her to out think this banishment. But If there is some way to regain access to her throne world, Xivu will kill everything and everyone in between her and it. I could be missing something, my knowledge on the awoken and Mara and her throne world is very limited, so it could have proven that once the connection is broken it is permanent, but if we don’t have certainty here, its more than a little possible someone will try.
There's always another option for Xivu's forces ad be it a unlikely one....and that is to realize the sword logic has failed again and now been made mockery of and join Savathun in search of a different path forward seeing how Savathun as of right now is the only Queenpin of undying power left on the board and one with a path that leads to all hive not just the top gaining strength.

This sounds like Xivu will submit to Savathun and use the light. Savathun will then work towards getting Oryx revived by light. Likely already finding out that the hidden has his body.
Even though it’s completely absurd, I feel like something very similar to this will happen. I mean, oryx called both necromancy and using the light heresy…
All of this sounds so interesting. Its really making me hope they go for big with Heresy as I keep thinking the things that make the most sense with that title it is either an attempt to retake a Hive infested Torobatl or Xivu's Throneworld being overtaken and corrupted by someone (Fikrul, Kelgorath, etc.).
Xivu being overthrown by a former subordinate would be very interesting. The hive pyramid scheme has never been disrupted that badly before. Despite being essentially an entire civilisation of power hungry backstabbing nutters, the Hive have been surprisingly stable and loyal within their factions. If someone managed to take Xivu's position, that could spark a massive internal conflict as individual high power hive suddenly realise that being a new Hive god is practically possible.
I dont know if such a thing would even be possible, but wouldn't it be wild and extremely ironic if Caiatl were to take the throne of Xivu's throne world? If Caiatl became the new "god of war". That would be bonkers.
Hiraaks, the Mindbender, was just a random Fallen once until he fell into the Hellmouth and came back talking Hive. He also built a small Throneworld out of Cayde-6. Mara, relying on a Wish for a Throne, proves one alternative route; you can do other things to make a Throneworld, you don't just have killing or a specific action. Caiatl, with help from Eris, Osiris, and Toland, could move to claim the Throne of War, and turn it into the equivalent of Valhalla. Basically... Cabal Heaven. That's if everything goes to plan for this route.
@koldraxonofthefirstseven5718 I don't know if this is the route they're going for, in fact I highly doubt it, but if this were to happen it would be hilarious, awesome and absolutely friggin wild.
I think that while savathoun has her issues she ultimately wants to be our ally. She did try to take the traveler but not because she wanted to harm us but because she wanted to stop the witness and before that she helped us set the foundation for alliance with the cabal, fallen house of light, and the awoken
If the Witness had Rhulk as Savathun's babysitter, it would stand to reason he has another Disciple that chills out at the Black Terrace. One that wasn't beaten down and imprisoned in his own Pyramid or hastily resurrected. With her banished, he may take the quaint little fiefdom of hers and put it to more creative use.
@@Barrett1 Also to keep an eye on her because the Witness knew she could be a problem, Rhulk also only got the job because Savathun had been making a fool of him thanks to Rhulk's galaxy sized ego.

Thank goodness we have you for the story and lore. I CBA with reading lore pages. I’d rather watch a dope cutscene to illustrate the story, but I’ll gladly listen to you explaining everything
honestly if there's one thing this video has taught me. it's that the now vacant throne world, would make some epic player housing; literally transforming it to our will like a proper throne world *even more feasible since we've been becoming increasingly more masterful of hive magics
What if we the guardians and vanguard take the throne world and use it as a way to access the traveler. Xivu and witness already had direct contact. Obviously most likely not but man that would be cool
Could you do a breakdown of the relationship between Hive magic and the Darkness itself? I’m still a little confused as the relationship between the two. From what understand Hive magic is a framework that uses darkness and the darkness is just a paracausal force.
Im curious if Xivu will make a new throne world. She's still very powerful and a devout follower of the sword logic. She was banished from her throne world specifically, and not the ascendant space. Itd be interesting to see if Eris gets a throne world too for following the sword logic and becoming the strongest hive god for a moment. Also wondering if it would be possible for Xivu to try and reclaim her throne world, thatd make for an interesting dungeon/raid.
I like the thought, yet it begs the questions: is the throne world tied completely to the entire being of its creator and is it even at all possible for an ascendant Hive to possess two throne worlds. The throne worlds act as not only refuge for the being to regain power but also a space completely composed and subjugated by the Will of its creator. For instance, Savathun at all times and each point in her throne world is aware of what is being done by all things, thus her throne world is fully tied to her mind, ordinarily if it was only an aspect of her mind it would be plausible to think it too much of a demand on her psyche, but the thought of the throne world being an extension of her being: She is the throne world and the throne world is her (hence her awareness even in death), is a much more desirable viewpoint. The same can be said for Mara, Oryx and Crota as well as they all enacted their wills/logic upon their throne worlds. So with Xivu losing her TW, one could say that she was cut off from a significant portion of her power which could mean the next person who claims her throne world could claim that power as well. This thought presents a problem though: the original thought you presented about Xivu making a new one. Since Eris rejected the Sword logic entirely in the banishment, its likely the claim of the TW is no longer based in Sword Logic, but Vengeance which is owed to Eris morn. One thought that is in question for me is that if Eris’ Vengeance can be its stand alone logic since Sword Logic somewhat dictates that to earn more power one must die and kill to reach the next stage of power?
I suspect that this will be the thing that finally shatters Xivu's belief in the Sword Logic, and that she will now be willing to do things that she previously would have considered heresy. Noticably, there's a large, very powerful hive asset in the Sol system that has been left unclaimed. The dreadnought. Xivu never took it before because she had not earned it. It wasn't hers to take. With an episode called Heresy planned for post Final Shape, I suspect Xivu will be the threat for that season. As for Xivu's throne. What's happening to it depends a lot on what exactly "being banished" entails. It could be that its still perfectly intact but impossible to enter. It could be that Xivu can't enter it, but her forces or other forces can and it's now a battleground for warring former subordinates who are taking their shot at the top position. It could be that being banished has the same effect that being dead does, and her throne is collapsing like the Mindbenders did. In that case, we have no idea how long it will take to collapse. Savathun's hasn't collapsed but she's also using the Wellspring to keep it intact. Mara's has begun to collapse and after only a short time it was almost indistinguishable from the environment that makes up the rest of the ascendant plane. Hive lore has also been a bit... inconsistent recently, mostly around Savathun having access to power she shouldn't. Everything we know from Forsaken era hive lore says that her Throne should probably be collapsing into the rest of the ascendant plane, but everything we know from Forsaken era hive lore also says that Savathun can't gain power from cunning, Savathun is no longer a hive god at all since she's gotten rid of her worm, and that Xivu should probably starve to death within a few weeks or months of such a large defeat, just like how Oryx was basically on his deathbed back in D1.
Something that immediately jumped out to me was when Ikora spoke to us over the radio in the HELM and she said something like “we can deal with Xivu later, for now we need to stop the Witness” which makes me think next season will just be about preparing to enter the portal, we’ll do Final Shape, and then it will be one of the episodes that follows (Heresy?) where we get back to dealing with Xivu. Which would kinda stink to delay such a big event for so long, but also it would be good to not defeat such a major character in the next season or just as a side-deal in Final Shape.
I'd be intrigued to know what happened to any forces she had in her throne world at the time of banishment. Are they stuck? Are they warring to assume control? Could she make another?
Really crazy stuff happened this season and I am excited to see where it goes. I am really hoping it comes out that Toland takes Xivu's throne world for himself and finally gets control of the hive.
Now the question. If she can't access her throne world. How much of an army does she have left since she had her whole army waiting to come out from her throne world
Just wait until bungie decides to reference the original god of war games by making a hive knight boss in Xivu’s throne world and his name would be Kratos, Protege Of War. (Successor to the hive god of war in Destiny continuity)
I kind of think Eris messed up just a bit. Sure, she banished Xivu from her throne world, but that might not necessarily mean Xivu can no longer traverse the Ascendant Plane, nor does it mean that she could not create another throne world. The new one might not have the same level of logistical support as her old one, but it would put her back on the immortality board once more. And all she would probably need is one Guardian having a bad day to do it, if the Mindbender is any indicator...
First a Rant: Xivu just pulled a Navota. Second: I like how Xivu went from Hating Savathun, to liking her for making Eris a hive god (Tempority) and probably hating her more after the finale. Third: Hey Byf, I had this question that's been in my head for a long time, IS it possible that we guardians can have our own Throne world, given all that we done and after what happened after this season's finale? or Can Erin have her own TW with all the Tithes she collected?
I’m gonna be honest I was distracted by the reload speed of those weapons and remembering the horrors of reload speeds in D1 before mods that you could slap on whenever you wanted instead of a full armor piece
I didn't watch the video yet but could it be part of savathuns plan? I mean xivu kinda fulfilled the "devotion inspires bravery" thing. If she died I'm pretty sure there would be a ghost for her and let's remember that savathun did say "I love xivu" if she got resurrected in front of savathun it would be a game changer since sava can manipulate her as she wish (no memories and all, plus sava got a ton of evidence that they're a family so) I really want to see how the new xivu would behave. Because so far the only being that remained with its own personality and ideas after becoming lightbearer is savathun
The chances of Torobatl being recoverable seem miniscule to me: the idea that Xivu Arath didn't turn it into a War Moon seems unlikely. So the Cabal are truly homeless right now. If the allied forces of the guardians, Cabal and Eliksni were able to seize control of it, surely it would be a fitting place for the Empire of War that is the Cabal to call a more permanent home? That being said, the only reason that seems even vaguely reasonable is because of Caiatl: she is the General-Empress who has shown that she can be diplomatic and level-headed with the right counsel. Caiatl would be one to allow those like Eris Morn and Mara Sov to attempt to cleanse the throne world before they moved in, otherwise they would all just become Xivu Arath's adopted brood, really.
My bet for who gets the terrace is in this order: (most likely to least) - Kelgorath (probably taken by force. Prove himself by slaying some powerful ascendant hive) - Toland - Eris - Currently unknown or different ascendant hive - Mara The first 2 I think would be the most likely. Middle 2 are somewhat unlikely, and Mara is possible but I wouldn’t bet on it. Kelgorath and Toland just make such good story lines for Heresy

An empty, potentially customisable space that can allow travel to new far off locations and can bring key NPCs to be claimed by the strongest. Sounds like player housing that can enable new stories in episodes after the Guardian kills the witness.
Now that Xivu is banished from her throne world, is she still able to access the ascendant realm, and is it possible for her to create a new throne world?
I had an epiphany, and I'm not sure if Xivu has considered it. For her to become the final shape based on hive sword logic, she would be require to wage war on everything in the universe in an attempt to keep her worm fed, while proving she is the strongest until she's the only one left and then ultimately her worm would consume her anyways as she has no one left to commit war upon to gain tribute. Savathun on the other hand circumvented the rules with imbaru and doesnt need to commit needless acts of violence, and as humans as naturally curious as a species it even benefit her not to. She could have realistically achieved a hive sword logic final shape be being the most powerful hive all while keeping her worm sated if she still had it.
Without a throne world the Hive will smell weakness and will descend into full blown civil war. Xivu may very well come out of this bloodbath stronger than ever.
I have two things. Firstly, couldn’t Xivu just create another ascendant plane in a bargain to feed her worm? It’s stated in lore that the worm gods had a huge part in the throne worlds being built, so couldn’t Xivu have this happen? Secondly, I wonder if The Witness will have any part in aiding Xivu, possibly getting a throne world a eeing as she is his strongest general for him. Whatever it may be, I want there to be consequences, and Xivu come at us being stronger than ever. I personally hate how Bungie essentially is writing Xivu out without ever showing her in game without any sort of dialogue or character arc of some grand degree.
a amazing mission i just thought of, we help the cabal take control of Torobatl. We help the cabal defeat Hive there, idk just a thought but it seems like a cool idea.
My first thought about whom a potential usurper of Xivu's throne world would be, is Savathun. Without her sister to oppose her, she'd have free roam of the Black Terrace. Able to seize all of the secret and the weapons Xivu had hoarded in the Hive's conquest of the universe. To me, that is probably the worst outcome. Because who could challenge her if she did.
I wonder if our guardian can make a throne world now and that is perhaps how we survive against the witness? We were literally using hive magic, rituals and tithing via the sword logic this season and we now have a greater understanding of how it all works, so its actually possible we now have the knowledge to make one...we already have the power with all the gods we've slain over the years.
It’s interesting how she relied on resurrection despite claiming the sword logic. I wonder if she could actually gain greater power by accepting being forced to a purer version sword logic? The implicit strength of infinite attrition dulls the need for singular instantaneous force. It forces Xivu’s tactic to change from a barrage of hammer strikes to one concentrated blow, something much more analogous to the thrust of a blade. Realistically that’s the only way guardians meet final deaths. The immortality of throne worlds are pale imitations of guardian resurrection so the guardians will always win in a war of attrition. If Xivu had fought us and been sent back to her throne world it would be a repeat of Oryx and she would have already lost the war at that point. She always could only have won by standing her ground with one decisive attack, and now through the machinations of Savathun, the hunger of her work and the lack of siblings to turn to, Xivu is left with the only possible option being to do just that.
I say we take over the black terrace. Turn it into our own personal crib. Put out armory, our weapons, our trophies. The guardian needs his own space and this should be it. Every so often there's a public event, someone tries to take it over and the guardian gets to do cool stuff and fight them off. Idk just a thought
The witness will offer her the power of a disciple. Considering it an offer while she's literally most vulnerable. She will take the darkness for the sword to strike us and her sister down.
If the Hive do eventually find a replacement for any of the accendent Thrones, I do hope they make these new despots or pragmatic Warlords interesting.
this leaves me with a few questions. First: Is it possible for her to undo this? Second: Can Xivu Arath make a new throne world if she cannot undo it. Third: Can she still call her army in waitng there?
I feel no one seems to talk much about how Eris Morn's actions once again pull us further away from the Dark Timeline. In the Dark Timeline, according to Elsie Bray, Eris Morn became the new Witch Queen. With her current actions, she REJECTED all the powers she could have had.

Something I haven’t seen much talk about is whether or not other Hive could try to ascend to godhood. What’s stopping Paul the Thrall from performing a ritual and becoming the hive God of Hallways. Bungie has an opening to create future powerful hive villains that can rise to power in their own domains
Xivu hasn't lost any power, she's just lost access to her immortality, which knowing her she'll find some way to force her way back into her throne world or a way to make a new one
@@orangesoda51414 she’s powerful still yes but without her throne world, or access to it she can never unleash the same terrifying power she once had, like how invaded Torobatl
The banishment might make Xivu desperate. She might lash out, hoping to take as many down with her as she can. I think this situation made her even more dangerous.
So glad you aren't writing for the story.
@@GO-sz1nvHe added some realism into it, its mutual assused destruction. If she's going to die, then she'll do so following her idealogies.
@@GO-sz1nv I'd lose my mind.
Dangerous but vulnerable
@@drewleer7854 Right, she either dies to another ascendant Hive, her worm or us. Might as well cause the most death and destruction before her end.
Tbh id love to see her take oryx's throne either pre or post final shape especially since it's a material world throne world
by doing that wouldn’t that resurrect oryx?
Hypothetically, if Xivu had forces lying in wait in the throne world, would they now be trapped inside due to Eris's influence?
It's possible.
That could also open the possibility to whoever is left inside forming a new brood in her absence, and taking ownership of the throne world, if they are powerful enough, especially after her failure.
no cuz she only banished Xivu not other hive, they'd be able to go in and out freely
@@orangesoda51414eh, but the way Throne Worlds work, we may see a new leader arrive in the throne world.
I literally screamed laughing when Eris explained what she did. Xivu is vulnerable now. We're gonna suplex her into the sun.
I think my problem with this season is it felt like it should have been a whole expansion with xivu being the raid boss
That's what I've been thinking as well.
They probably needed to do something along the lines of trickery first because To fight Xivu head on is war on her terms and practically unwinable.
This. THIS is the biggest "Fuck you" we have done to Hive so far, and I LOVE it.
If one of the bosses doesn't proclaim: 'Boy!', in the dungeon or raid for the Black Terrace, we need to riot.
Seems a bit too “almighty” esque for them to do
@@throwitouttheairlock9556You're right, but Xivu is desperate and it'd be the best temporary thing to spike her power and assault her enemies, Savathūn and us the Guardians. Anything will do, and that is what makes her especially dangerous at the moment

Eris did say “now and FOREVER, you are banished”
So I take that meaning that Xivu is permanently locked out of her Throne World
@@MrVidman14 Not the point.

We havent seen Xivu in full render in-game right? Did I miss that? I know we've seen her in the drawn cutscenes, but not in game? Do we think thats next season?
my best guess is it'll be one of the post-final shape episodes
I bet the hive themed episode will be some sort of Torobatl ‘campaign’ with Caiatls cabal against Xivus forces.
We'll most likely get our first good look at her either in The Final Shape as a cutscene or cinematic, followed by some real action in the Heresy episode
what a wonderful dorky joke right at the end 🌺
im excited to see what comes from the vacant lot. landlords are always tryna sweep in when its hot
If Xivu were to find her way back into her throne world, would she be able to reclaim it by default? Oryx had absolute control over his and was able to conjure his wipe mechanic despite our fireteam proving that we were the strongest in the throne world and not him
This story this season was money.
Cash money
Gonna have a wonderful time with the post final shape stories w/ Xivu. Her dealing with this AND the witness possibly losing? goot shit incoming, that is for certain.
😂😂😂
She does like Callus
I mean duh, it's a business.😐
My question is how permanent the banishment is. Obviously Xivu is not as cunning as Savathun or even Eris. So I don’t expect to her to out think this banishment. But If there is some way to regain access to her throne world, Xivu will kill everything and everyone in between her and it.
I could be missing something, my knowledge on the awoken and Mara and her throne world is very limited, so it could have proven that once the connection is broken it is permanent, but if we don’t have certainty here, its more than a little possible someone will try.
It’s possible, but I reckon Xivu would need to acquire enough tribute to be more powerful than Eris was
I'd like to see how Kelgorath reacts to this power shift. Despite being taken maybe there's still a bit of his soul in there somewhere.

It would be really cool if ultimately the Black Terrace becomes the new Cabal Homeworld, shaped by Caital.
I dont know if such a thing would even be possible, but wouldn't it be wild and extremely ironic if Caiatl were to take the throne of Xivu's throne world? If Caiatl became the new "god of war".
That would be bonkers.
I don't think she can. The Cabal aren't paracausal.
Kelgorath and taniks are going to fuse using the power of scorn mutations and take up their ultimate position of kelgorniks the throne reaper.
Rhulk was there to train Savathun to become a disciple
@@Barrett1 Also to keep an eye on her because the Witness knew she could be a problem, Rhulk also only got the job because Savathun had been making a fool of him thanks to Rhulk's galaxy sized ego.
God of War: Final Shape. What a legendary idea you just created. Kratos going through and taking down the Nine or whatever sick adventure those writers could fathom. love it
I hope that post final shape well have a season where we help Caitil retake torobatl and maybe a separate season where we explore and the claim Xivu arath’s throne world
I think that the Black Terrace would be suited as the setting for a Raid, but we might be repeating Taniks with Kelgorath serving as the final boss.
Bruh the gaurdians have been the greatest foe for the hive. We havent been around for nearly as long as them, andvwe have completely shattered their understanding of the world.
I like how you slipped the Dynasty art into this video. Really loved it.
Thank goodness we have you for the story and lore. I CBA with reading lore pages. I’d rather watch a dope cutscene to illustrate the story, but I’ll gladly listen to you explaining everything
honestly if there's one thing this video has taught me.
it's that the now vacant throne world, would make some epic player housing; literally transforming it to our will like a proper throne world
*even more feasible since we've been becoming increasingly more masterful of hive magics
I couldn’t help but chuckle when you mentioned Kratos of all people. Take my like!
If it wasn't because of byf I wouldn't know this lore existed
Your comment near the end of the video on Kratos being a contender to Zivu Arach’s position and throne world made me chuckle.😅
The thing that makes me most excited about her being lock out of her throne world is…. When she has her dlc it’ll be WAR MOONS
I love the fact that xivu has to be tactical now after losing her throne world
Now the question. If she can't access her throne world. How much of an army does she have left since she had her whole army waiting to come out from her throne world
I want fanart of Kratos just sitting on Xivu's throne now XD
Just wait until bungie decides to reference the original god of war games by making a hive knight boss in Xivu’s throne world and his name would be Kratos, Protege Of War. (Successor to the hive god of war in Destiny continuity)
Kratos being there setting up shop is hilarious.
Caiatl does still want to crush Xivu Arath's head in her own hands. That one thing just went from "statement of bluster" to "attainable life goal".
I think Toland's overdue for some new digs, and I'd love to see him take advantage of a vacancy in the ascendant real estate sphere
It sucks that we will never see the black terrace now. It sounds very grand in all the lore cards
I can't believe Byf made a God of War quip. Then again, that probably should've been expected, given the topic of this video...
Sounds like a vacant throne world is an opportunity for player housing. 😊
i dont know why but you have the perfekt story teller voice its sooo good
The chances of Torobatl being recoverable seem miniscule to me: the idea that Xivu Arath didn't turn it into a War Moon seems unlikely.
My bet for who gets the terrace is in this order: (most likely to least)
- Kelgorath (probably taken by force. Prove himself by slaying some powerful ascendant hive)
- Toland
- Eris
- Currently unknown or different ascendant hive
- Mara
The first 2 I think would be the most likely. Middle 2 are somewhat unlikely, and Mara is possible but I wouldn’t bet on it. Kelgorath and Toland just make such good story lines for Heresy
It might be far fetched, but I could see the Cabal trying to invade the throne world.
Yeah I hope Caiatl moves into Xivu's house

An empty, potentially customisable space that can allow travel to new far off locations and can bring key NPCs to be claimed by the strongest.
Sounds like player housing that can enable new stories in episodes after the Guardian kills the witness.
Question: with her continuing to get tithes from war. Is it possible to make a second throne world?
Loving that briar bind gameplay, at full power they shred nezquick
Mara is looking at Xivus throne world like “it's free real estate”
Without a throne world the Hive will smell weakness and will descend into full blown civil war. Xivu may very well come out of this bloodbath stronger than ever.
Not if the lucent hive has a word to say in that. Savathun's also back.
Paul's a scrub, my money's on Dwight the Knight.
"I imagine Kratos is there."
I'd like to meet him if we ever get there.
The ending cutscene could've been better but this season was great
Let's face it... Kellgorath is gonna take over Xivu's throne world
And he will complete his Taniks arc by becoming the final boss of the raid taking place there.
She will take the darkness for the sword to strike us and her sister down.
i hope we still get to see Xivu's Throne World at some point even with this banishment stuff
If the Hive do eventually find a replacement for any of the accendent Thrones, I do hope they make these new despots or pragmatic Warlords interesting.
We need to talk about that insane Rift build.
I figured the episode, Heresy, would involve us taking down Xivu Arath for good
How awesome would it be that if next season we went to Torobatl and got it back for the Cabal.
this leaves me with a few questions.
First: Is it possible for her to undo this?
Second: Can Xivu Arath make a new throne world if she cannot undo it.
Third: Can she still call her army in waitng there?
Byf has a very good sense of humor when he mentioned the other god of war 🤣
you should make a destiny lore iceberg explained there is already ones on destiny as a whole from other channels but a lore one would be cool
I hope one of the future "episodes" takes us to Torobattle.
This is a great video. The ramifications of Eris’ gambit are multi-layered.
