I really love the commentary of these quick sparring matches. The notes on getting your opponent loaded on your hips was great. There is something that just clicks with the slow mo movements and the commentary. It’s a perfect way to explain why some moves do or don’t work.

Superb content. I really like to see the annotations about the positions. Really drives it home how in 20 seconds the path to sweep is often through a full chain of positions before the work of sweep is done. sit up guard to collar sleeve to de la riva to x-guard and sweep from there. King of the mat is so great for hitting all these different paths. Bravo!

Thank you for this .. I needed it. Past couple weeks, I have been trying to work on sweeps .. While I have been finding lots of success on the newer/lighter people, I always get stuck against bigger guys or high belts, especially those with great base and control grips. The way you let people come into you, and use their momentum against them, instead of fighting against them to get the sweep is really enlightening. "Path of least resistance", I always hear you say it but I never really listened. I think I kind of get it now. Thank you Prof.
