I have done 3years BSc in India and 1 year masters in UK. My UK university is in the Anabin database with H+ but my UK degree is not available on the database.

My profession is non-regulated and I have a job offer from Germany.
I think 3rd country still we have to go for ZAB to obtain a Statement Of Comparability. My degree is listed on the Anabin. My University is H+/- but my degree is listed. Based on Make it Germany I can go directly with Anabin print but Embassy asking me to apply for ZAB.
Hi, Statement Of Comparability is required only if specificially asked for, for Non Regulated profession.
In most cases like IT ENgineering professions, IT Consultants etc, only Two certificates from Anabin are required.

However, I suggest please check this video, and its Part II.
As per new reforms, ZAB recognition can be done also at a later stage when you are already in Germany.

There may be always small differences.
The final decision rests on Visa officers discretion
If you are not sure of Anabin output, you can still go ahead with Visa application. If Visa officer is not full convinced, he/she will give you enough time to get Manual Statement of Comparability from ZAB

My institution is recognized (H+) My bachelor is "recognized" A4 (It has a wording problem but I assume I can use it*) My question is about the last part of the page where it says Verleihende Institutionen, my university is not listed there. Is that a problem? What does that mean?
* I hold a Bachelor in Internacional Commerce but the degree in Anabin is kind of Bachelor in Foreing Commerce. I am asumming this will not be an obstacule.

Its hard to comment with accuracy, as there are numerous possibilities in Anabin outcome.
However, I belive, if you are able to download the two certificates, that should suffice.
In case, if VISA officer is not fully convinced, they will provide you enough time to contact ZAB and get "Certificate of Equivalence" which may be a paid service.

Hi. If BOTH certificates are there and are acceptable, then you DONT need anything more to do.
However, in case you are in REGULATED Profoessions, then additional rules/steps may apply.
Lastly, in case if VISA Officer wants more docs, he/she will give you adequate time to obtain then.

Ideally, that should be sent in advnance only, at the time of applying for Blue CArd.

Hi, Here in Germany, age is just a number. No one cares for it, and it never matters anywhere.
Infact when I reached Germany on JSV, I was also 40
As Mech Engineers are high in demand throughout Germany, I think there is no particalur city to recommend.
However, I feel that there is more New construction/repair maintainence work in big cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne etc. So probably every big city should offer you career opportunities.
I recommend, please check all my other videos. You will understand German Job market better.
In my 3 year bachelor's degree , there are bedingt vergleichbar and entspricht, both are written. while in my master's degree has only entspricht.
Is the bachelor degree equivalent?
bedingt vergleichbar means its conditional comparable
If you are applying JSV on basis of this degree, then It depends on JSV Officer, he may or may not accept it. He may advice you to obtain paid Certificate of Equivalence.
However, as you mentioned your PG is recognised / entspricht, then you may propose your intent for job search and JSV application on the basis of PG.
In that case, VISA officer will (most likely) not bother your graduation Anabin certificate
In principle, Anabin certificate of only highest education level needs to be submitted.

in institutes my uni name exists with status: H+ , degree type: bachlors 4 yrs , graduation class A4 and in degree , graduationclass: A4, equival class: corresponding german degree type , corresponds: Baccalaureus/Bachelor 3y. As per your description i donot need zab equival/comparability right? But when i click on Baccalaureus/Bachelor 3y this opens a new popup and it says graudation class A3. why is that?

Hi, If MBA 3 years is not found, then you should better get it from ZAB before hand.
It is because, in absence of it, VISA officer may put your application on hold till you get it.

Hi That should not be a problem as along as both PGDM and PGD are same course. However University must be recognized. Incase it's a question of Blue card, it may be a good decision to obtain Paud services of ZAB and get Certificate of Equivalence

For example I studied in UPN university(Lima) but on Anabin is UPN university(Trujillo), it is just another city from Peru. Do you think the embassy is going to accept it? Or do I need to validate it through ZAB? My major is non regulated.
About my major, I’m Bachelor in Management and Tourist Services but on Anabin it says Bachelor in Tourism. Do you think this is valid too?

Hi, I suppose you are applying for JSV or some work related VISA.
I believe, tour case should be acceptable to Embassy Officials.
However, in case they are not convinced, you may be required to get Paid services of ZAB. In such scenario, you will be given enough time to respond.

For this reason, JSV is normally not rejected. They will at max halt further processing your application, till tou bring the required docs.
Also, if you are in such hurry, ZAB also provides fast paced option, wherein you may get it done within 28-45 days.

I have studied in KLEIT and it's affiliated to VTU. My degree was awarded by VTU but the college name is also mentioned in the degree certificate

Hi, as far as I understand, here local authority means state government or Central govt.
Student may be anywhere in world but where the University exist that states Government should have recognized bothe the University / Institution and also the Degree.. So probably you need to produce some kind of Govt approval letter

I am not sure what VISA you are applying for, i.e. JSV or blue card, student visa et etc

So be mentally prepared, in case he/she demands more clear details, you may be required to approach ZAB to obtain their "comparability certificate" with is paid service.

I am writing my Master Thesis but I have got a job offer ( firmware engineer) in Germany. I have applied for blue card appointment using bachelor degree when I go for the blue card interview do I need any additional certificate apart from anabin 2 certificates?
My university (H+)(VTU) is listed in anabin and degree is listed on anabin(A4) ( bachelor of engineering) but in field of study there is no separate option for electronics and communication but there is one option "all fields of study" . So if I select bachelor of engineering with option "all fields of study" is this sufficient to say my degree is valid ? Do I still need to apply for ZAB for the blue card interview? Hi, If you are able to download the two certificates, that should be enough.
However, I see another posiible hurdle.
You mentioned, you are writing Master Thesis, I assume you are presently doing some Masters Course.
You should be able to convince Visa Officer that you got job on the basis of your Bachelor Degree. Else you may be required to submit TWO anabin certificates for Masters Course also.
Lastly, in any case if Visa Officer is not fully convinvced, He or she will advise you to produce Paid ZAB certificate of Equivalence, for which they will also give you enough time.

If university is H+ and degree is A2 ,3,4,5 etc, then that means it corresponds to Some German Equivalent.

1/ Do we need to submit anabin certificates for both bachelors and masters incase the jobs that i am interested in are more relevant to my masters qualification
2/ My bachelors degree is a BS in Marine Engineering with a duration of 4 years. Hence it is an Engineering degree but is titled a BS. Anabin only has BS under 3 years category. Should i apply for ZAB or should I go with BS ~ 3 years certificate / BE ~ 4 years certificate? The institute is recognised as H+, so that is not a problem

1. You will most likely need to submit anabin certificates for both bachelors and masters.
Else,
You must justify to Auslanderbehored / Visa officer that you got job contract on basis of our Masters.
He/she may also demand you a letter from your company HR / Hiring Manager for this.
2. That should be ok, as this means you studied One year more/extra
In all cases, if Visa Officer is not convinced, he/she will instruct you to get paid Certificate of Equivalence from ZAB. They will give you extra time for this. Also in such cases, ZAB will reply within 2-4 weeks (i.e. fast track processing)

If you are able to successfully download Two certificates per Degree, then thats enough.
If there is any deviation / mismatch etc, then you need to go for Paid services of ZAB that may also include certificate of comparability
Ideally they need ANabin proof for highest education. However I suggest take for both degree

My bachelor falls under A3 and my master's falls under A5. So i hope this would be enough and i don not need to do anything else apart from this for my education purpose.

Hi, It largely depends upon wether you are going for Regulated or Unregulated profession.
However, in any case both A4 and H+ certificates are Mandatory for you to get Work Visa.
I suggest, you may consider connecting with ZAB Germany.
Else you can also connect with " Pro Recognition " office near your city and get free advice with them Just Google "Pro Recognition" to find nearest office.

I have done my BBA from jamia millia islamia (distance mode ) . A consultancy rejected my profile saying that my degree is not valid in germany .
You may check in Anabin Database. If its not there, then you can go for Paid services of ZAB. If you get positive Certificate of Equivalence, then you are good to go

If there is degree show as PGS Corresponds 3 years bachelor not A4 or A5 then this PGS is recognised as University degree in Germany?
PGS means Postgradualer Studiengang.
Theorotically, thats is a valid qualification. However, final decision remains in hands of Visa handling Officer

Just in case, VISA official is not fully convinced, he or she will advise you to produce manual “ certificate of Equivalence “ from ZAB ( costs approximately 300€)
They will also give you enough time for it

In case he is not fuly convinced, He may advise you to obtain ,,Certificate of Equivalence" from ZAB. So you must be mentally prepared for the same. He will also give you enough time to get it.
Also, If your Blue card is pending owing to this cettificate, You can also request ZAB for their express/fast service, in which case they may complete the process in less than 1 month

But be prepared, In case, Visa Officer is not satisfied they ask you to obtain Paid Certificate of equivalence

3. THere is no minimum requirement. Only, it should ,,entspricht" or should correspond to some German level. Even A2 is qualififed.

Lastly, I suggest, please Google nearest IGCC. They have "Pro Recognition" department who offers free counselling related to cases like yours (i.e. not finding relevant certificate in Anabin)

For example I have a master degree which was accredited at the time of my graduation while my bachelor was not because in my country applies other rules and from COVID-19 it was a delay in the new program I followed which is IT. University are rated as H (+ or -)
and Educational programmes are rated as A (2,3,4,5 etc)
Master programms cannot be rated as H+
Further, if degree name is not there, then you may be needed to go for ZABs paid services

I cannot reply with accuracy, whats best for you, but can tell you my experience.
Similar thing happened with me also. I also did MBA from Pune university, however 4 years back any MBA was Not recognised by Anabin.
I hence projected my profile on the basis of graduation only (B.Tech) which was fully recognised by Anabin. Also, all job applications I did to German employers were based on my engineering only and not on MBA.
Finally, on date of interview, I was able to convince the Visa officer that although I have done MBA, but I am going to search job based on my engineeirng only. She was convinced and didnt bothered for Anabin certificate for my MBA
I however, clearly mentioned in JSV cover letter also about my MBA.

I dont know which Embassy you applied. In Delhi, they normally respond in 3-4 weeks.
For Mumbai. it may take a bit longer.

Thank you very much for your video. Recently I applied for Statement of Comparability in ZAB for reason that when I have been graduated the program was not accrediated. The fact is that in my home country there are some laws that the new programs because at that time my program was new in 2018 and I graduated in 2021. Due to Covid19 the process of accreditation finished in 2022. Of course regarding the laws of higher education in my country my university issued my diploma after the accreditation was finished but they only see to one website the year when the decision has been approved and the date that will finish the accreditain and they not even asked me for any proof in case the doubt for authenticy. What do you suggest me to do or anybody in my case. I have one Master Degree also which I have recently finished. That one fulfill their accreditation requirements. Do you think Master Degree will override my bachelor degree accreditaion?

If your degree is not visible on Anabin, you may need to get Paid Certificate of Equivalence from ZAB
Is electrical engineering a non regulated profession?
It depends on multiple factors including project. If you engaged in backend projects like telecommunication, industrial engineering etc, you probably will be in Non Regulated profession.
However if you are designing, for example, Electrical system in a public transport system, there are chamces that you may be counted in Regulated Profession.
However most likely, Electric engineering is Non Regulated.

That should be ok. However, you can strenghten your application by applying to several jobs beforehand, and try to bag atleast 5-6 online Interview invitations. This gives impression that you are seriously trying to search Job in Germany, and with JSV, your success rate will be much higher.

You can definitely apply for Work Visa, based on your Job offer.
However final decision will be taken by Visa granting Officer.
It may also happen, that they will suggest you to do some 6 months or 1 year course in Germany which will bring your educational status in comparison with German requirement.
