I attended the interview at Mumbai consulate on 10-AUg-2022. Thanks Siddharth for the detailed video. Specially the information about the bank was extremely helpful to me. I got appointment email on 08-Aug, 09-Aug was public holiday and my appointment date was 10-Aug. I was unable to get the DD on 08-Aug. Luckily I had a friend working at ICICI & he managed to get both the DD's from ICICI bank Nariman Bhavan branch by 09:50 AM. My appointment was at 10:00 AM. Also it was a helpful tip to grab the area near the window. Very spacious area to spread out 3 sets + original docs. As per my experience, it is ok if DD withdrawee name is different than ours/applicant name. They accepts the DD.

Some candidates reported that Mumbai Embassy is insisting to get German firm Insurance. For example from Mawista etc
@@FirangiFiles I took provisional approval from TK [German health insurance] and attached the acknowledgement receipt. Hence, I think they did not ask more on it. I opted for TK as I don't need to pay anything to TK at this stage. 🙂

@@ameyabhyankar4944 Hi Amey, pl. share how you got the Provisional Insurance Approval Letter from TK, as when I asked them for it they declined the request and said, that can only be provided if you have any Job Contract in hand as they only offer Statutory Insurance and no Private Health Insurance.

Biometric is just Your Finger Prints !

Thanks for taking the time to reply@@FirangiFiles. My question is about biometrics capture (fingerprint etc). Will that happen on the same day as the interview? (Asking because for US visa, biometrics is collected on the previous day of interview)
It depends on Embassyies
In some Embassies, Biometrics is collected at VFS centres (Where you normally submit documents)
In my own case, my Fingerprints were colleted at the time of Interview in Embassy

Thats "ANMELDUNG" i.e. City Registration.
Its a mandatory registration at City Municipal Office, called RATHAUS

Do we need to get an affidavit if there are gap between studies and employment for JSV visa.?
Hi, there is no affidavit required.
However, think from Visa granting officers view.
He/she would lke to ASCERTAIN that in this time gap, you were not engaged in any Illegal/criminal activities.
Hence, you must mention a justificataion in Cover Letter. If possible also put some evidence proof or document to support your justification.

Hi, So Embassyies, like Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi ask for additional Background Verification of candidate. For that they charge extra amount, to be paid over DD.
It is however very case specific, and not all candidates are asked for the same.
I believer, for Chennai Embassy, it is not applicable

Hi Siddharth, can I kee my date of travel after 4-5 months of my visa appointment. Say i have my appointment in July and received the notification to submit my passport in August end. Because I have to server 90 days notice period in my organisation and that would be me getting free by November. But since in December due to holidays not much hiring is going on so can I fly in January and give my travel dates for that?
Yes you can
Once you get visa granting email, you are given 90 days time to travel. however in my case, I requested to allow me to travel after 110 days.

I wanted to know one info. Do I need to buy return ticket to show or just one way ticket will work ?
Normally, return ticket is not required, as It is expected that you will stay there for long after finding Job.
However, in rare chances, Embassy officer had instructed to also do confirmed return ticket.
I believe, it happens when they are not fully convinced with candidate's Job search preperation.

Motive is to give impression to Embassy Officials that you are trying best to search and get job.
It depends entirely on you to decide with how many applications and printouts you can convince them.

Hi, This form 54 you will get at the embassy, just before interview. You may however, also check on Embassy website if its readily available.
As you are very close to interview day, I strongly suggest you to se all my videos very carefully. Especially, carefully see the videos on JSV Motivation letter/Cover letter.

@@FirangiFiles I have small clarification I have seen your video regarding the ZAB. I have confused about that Part, let me tell you my understanding. If our university and Degree are approved on the anabin website, we would need to take a printout from the website that is enough to submit during the JSV visa processing, correct? If our university and degree are not recognized in that case we need to connect with ZAB and send the photocopies of our attested degree to ZAB address in german through courier and do the further process correct?

Hi... Thanks for this informative video. I have a doubt regarding funds needs to be shown to the embassy. You said 1000 Eur per month for 6 months = 6000 Eur as bank statement/blocked account needs to be shown. My question is does the 6000 Eur for six months includes expense of accomodation for 6 months or 6000 Eur + 6 months accomodation expense extra? pls clarify.

It may not be possible to cover the general procedure/requirements as each got own set of rules and terms.
I advise connecting with individual banks and proceeding.
Some banks that offer Blocked accounts are Coracle/Expatrio/Fintiba/Kotak/Deutsche Bank etc

good video but 2 points.45000-/ dd is not required for other consultates .but you can keeps some cash in had in case in case they need document verification.also you should not covert 75 euros as per exchange rate.the exact rupee amount is mentioned on the website.you need to carry that only.Please let me know if I am wrong.also you forgot health and travel insurance.

Yes you are correct, I forgot to mention Insurance.
As I mentioned in start only, Its unfortunate fact that Mumbai candidates need to pay extra INR 45K.
Regarding DD, website not always shows updated value. Also, on website, you can find ,,Information Ohne Gewähr" means, info is without gurantee of exactness. So its better to make DD of cureent value
How about other consulates process, after interview how long it take to get visa decision

However, as I heard, Bangalore and Chennai takes less time after interview. Typically they decide on Visa within 30-45 days, and sometimes even earlier
