Very informative video... This was the video we as a potential JSV applicants were looking for... Thank you so much sir for explaining the timelines... This will help many people like us..
My timelines for the JSV -Mumbai Consulate
1) 7th Dec gave the JSV interview and submitted all my documents excluding passport
2) 9th Dec received an email from the Consulate to submit my passport and insurance documents.
3) 12th Dec submitted my passport at the VFS along with insurance
4) 14th Dec received an email from VFS that a processed visa application is received at the VFS center.
5) 15th Dec received my visa , passport, original birth certificate and 45k DD that was submitted.
Just want to thank you for all your videos. It was really helpful. God is good and really surprised that I've got my visa in 7 days .I feel major decision on my visa was made at the JSV interview
All the best to everyone applying for a JSV .
Congratulations
now, use this time to learn some German, and start apply for jobs, mentioning in Bold, that you already hold valid JSV
Definitely. Have started with the language course a month back . Will be hunting for jobs and proper accomodation now with city registration
@@jacobfernandes8346 all the best.
Make sure you apply in German Resume and cover letter. I explained them with templates in my videos
Must watch, if you are planning to apply for JSV. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Welcome. Do check my other videos also, especially with JSV in subject line.
Very informative!
A few questions
1. Which visa option to choose from VFS global site (still trying to figure it out)
2. Can we take our family (wife and kid) in jsv?
3. Can husband and wife apply jsv separately and show the same accommodation?
1. Cant comment as itdepend on multiple factors like present VISA, Job type, Salary range etc etc
2. No
There are numerous conditions for FRV (Family Reunion Visa) which cannot be met when on JSV. Check this video thoroughly:
ua-cam.com/video/OHaD2eS41Lo/v-deo.html
3. Definitely.
One accomodation can accomodate more than 1 people. However area of accomodation must be equal or more than minimum area requiremnt per person.
Hi Siddharth! Thanks for the informative video! It really helps! I have few questions firstly would you recommend to leave current job to a person who is from a management background and to come Germany on JSV? And another If a person has done B2 certification in German but lost the fluency in German due to less usage of language .. does that person mandatorily need to speak in german in embassy interview as I am showing the certification? Please suggest
Hi
1- I never suggest people to resign for JSV. Instead try getting some long leave/ unpaid leave or sabbatical etc
2- B2 is an extreme strong push for JSV, kind of a Gurantee. However even if you can demonstrate A2 or B1 Level German skills, that should suffice for JSV.
Meanwhile be aware that for Job interviews in Germany, exactly opposite happens. There they definitely value German Certificate but only as a paper. They will only b interested in your actual German interacting skills.
hi, sir thank you for the video, I had doubted it's only for experienced persons, and how about freshers ...?
Hi, If you are absolute Fresher, then unfortunately there is little chance for getting JSV :(
However, if you have atleast 2 years experience, you can give try.
In such case, it is advisable to pick up German skills, which will be a very strong and supporting factor for getting JSV.
Is there a mandatory rule that you have to travell Germany atleast once after visa stamping? I mean If person decides to stay in India only look for job and he wants to travel only if a concrete job offer is received.
There is no such compulsion.
In fact, many people play safe , get Jsv, and aggressively start applying for jobs in Germany, highlighting JSV possession.
However, one need to observe 6 months cooling period after expiration of JSV if he wishes to reapply for the same.
HI, Great thanks or all of your informative videos, exceptional work. I got job seeker visa appointment in chennai on 18th June (after one year waiting time, got it). You said 90 days max time they will give to reach Germany, does it means 90 days from 18th June (appointment date)? Because I don't think in chennai we have some special verification as you told for mumbai. Is it fine I say I want to travel from Oct 1 (so that I will get atleast 3 months next year to mitigate risk of year end holidays). I hope in the appointment date itself we have to give hotel stays and insurance dates to specify exact dates of travel
This 90 Days timer starts from the days you receive Visa Granting Email (and not Appointment date)
Also, if you have a strong and convincing reason, you can also ask for further extension (usually another 30days)
Cannot thank you enough for your interesting videos... I got one question, I am planning to apply for JSV, but I am an international student studying in Bangalore. Do I need to go through the recognition procedure (ZAB ) even though my university and study programme are recognised in Germany?
Hi
Certainly ZAB is required for everyone.
However in most cases it’s a simple process, simply downloading TWO certificates.
I explained it in detail here

@UCN_uwGyd8_B-7o05L-RfNkw only your future job matters. If it’s in Regulated profession list, then corresponding rules applies.

Hi,
in the description of this video, document under "Travel / Health Insurance authorised Vendors", is it for Travel insurance ? or Health insurance as well ?
I'm getting confused, because document is saying for "Travel Insurance" only !
Regarding Health insurance please suggest,
1) insurance company names which will get accepted for JSV Germany.
2) Do I need to go for EXPAT insurance ?
3) Do I need to auto-renew it every month ? or do I need to buy it for whole 6 months at once ?
Hi, Recently, some Embassies are sending a new health Insurance requirement. I suggest, please check below two videos thoroughly:
1: ua-cam.com/video/DtjMo_zlJSw/v-deo.html
2: ua-cam.com/video/NeCtcIu5KyY/v-deo.html
Your questions:
1- Covered in first video
2- Covered in Second video
3- If insurance condition 1 is applicable, then it is for 6 months, else you need to take German insurance and renew it every month.
Travel Insurance: Usually, it comes packaged with Video 1 insurance.
However, if Video 2 is applicable, then you need to buy an exclusive Travel insurance applicable for your dates of travel
does background check occur always for JSV , i have already traveled to Germany on Schengen VISA
It definitely occur for Mumbai Embassy JSV applications.
I heard it also happens for Delhi Jsv.
Not sure about others.
Hello Siddharth if after reaching germany I do not get any corporate jobs, can i do jobs in a amazon warehouse or any stores...and with these jobs can i be able to change my jsv to work visa?
Hi, that is not allowed
JSV is meant to fulfill jobs in skilled professions. That even includes professions like Plumber, electrician and ofcourse Engineers
However unskilled jobs like warehouse, cashier, waitors etc are not allowed on JSV
Thank you so much for your valuable inputs, i have applied for appointment for job seekers visa , it seems there is huge waiting list, but my passport expires on 29th Jan 2024, i have 19 months now validity, but i am worrying if appointment gets late , they may reject visa due to less validity of passport, could you please suggest me here
Hi, I sugest please check this video.
I explained your concern in start only.

Dear sir i have jsv appointment in Feb. The doc checklist says you need to bring original as well as 2 copies of doc .So should i give all original, passport, btech degree, adhar ,birth certificate orginal at jsv appointment by vfs. .will i get all document safely after giving to them
In most cases, they will return all your original docs on the spot. However, please double check.
Also, this video should help you: ua-cam.com/video/1oHwd4PXGL8/v-deo.html
I have few question regarding the JSV. 1. If I choose a city Ex: Berlin while applying for JSV. Can I stay in Berlin for a month and later moved to a different city (Essen) and stay there??? Is that allowed? Is it mandatory to do Anmeldung for JSV holders? Do I need to stay in homes or hotels which offers anmeldung?
Hi, I suggest, please check my all videos with JSV in subject. I explained your questions in detail.
I applied to my JSV January 25 and after a week I received an email saying they had taken a decision and they made an appointment for me for March 3rd. What does it mean? In case my visa got rejected, why should I wait a month to get the answer.
I belive they have positive for you decieded
Normally, in case of rejection, they clearly mention rejection in Email
Brilliant video!!!
I had an appointment with the German Consulate on 7/12/2022. Today I've received an email stating 'your visa application has been processed ' and submit the passport to the VFS. What does this mean ? Does it mean that the visa is approved?
Herzlichen Gratulationen !!
Heartily Congratulations
This means you got the Visa !!
@@FirangiFiles Hi Sid
I am still surprised because it's just been 2 days as I had the appointment on 7th and got the mail today i.e 9th.
Also the mail states visa application is processed and doesn't mention approved.
Lastly , it has asked me to submit my passport, copy of the email , tentative date and insurance to the VFS.
I am still confused as it's not according to the timelines
@@jacobfernandes8346 You probably applied in Bangalore or Chennai Embassy. They work extreme fast.

Hi, can you please elaborate how to get JSV costs back ?
Definetley, please stay tuned. Will make a dedicated video on this topic also.
Very good video. I have a question. Does the embassy require job interview invitations in the future? For example if I'm applying on 1st April and I have interview date for 1st June. Is that required? Or is it ok if I have already given online interviews before applying for JSV?
Hi Bilal
Job interview invitations in the future are definitely not required, However, if you got any interviews lined up for future, they will act as a very strong support for you to get Visa.
You need to proove to German Visa Officials, that you have ALREADY tried a lot getting Job in Germany, However, as you are receiving rejections possibly as you physically not in Germany.
Make sure to carry with you proof of you erlier applications for job in Germany.
@@FirangiFiles thank you for the reply sir. As I understand I would need to have given at least a few interviews before I can apply. I cannot apply for JSV if every application was rejected before interview round. Is that correct?
@@bilalsadain That's Absolutely wrong.
A Candidate will apply for JSV only when he is always rejected in interviews.
In fact, if any interview is cleared, then he will directly apply for work Visa and not Jsv
@@FirangiFiles sorry I didn't make myself clear. What I meant to say is I cannot apply for JSV without giving interviews. I cannot tell the embassy that I have sent many applications but I never got interview invitation. Is that correct?
@@bilalsadain that's correct.
You must show your serious efforts for job search and not random resume forwards.
If you bag even a couple of interviews, it shows your efforts in right direction
Hi sir, is it possible to work in a job outside of your field ? For instance I’m a software engineer in a specific area, can I also work any field of IT?
Yes definitely. But you should be able to convince interview panel.
Within IT, relevant branches all are accepted.
However if a Mechanical Engineer wishes to get into Software Development, then it my be a tough start.
I am from Mumbai, but I had applied in Hyderabad waiting for the appointment from last 2 month

Brief Introduction about myself :- I am Chirag Gabrani & having 7.5 years of Information Technology Standards experience.
I need your assistance as I did graduation from Delhi University in a distance not regular and side by side, I did diploma on a Regular basis.
I just wanted to know, am I eligible to work in Germany & live rest of my life?
Hi Chirag, to be able to work in Germany, You must first proov that your educational background corresponds to German standards.
I suggest please check this video thotoughly.

Just in case, your degree is not availble in Anabin database, you may be required to get a paid "Certificate of equivalence"
meanwhile, I suggest, please check all my videos thoroughly, and start applying to jobs as I suggeseted. These days, numerous candidates are getting job contracts right from their homeland
Very helpful video, danke!
Couple of questions, w.r.t JSV
1. As we have to submit our resume, should we mention about our current company? Is an experience certificate required from the current company?
2. Once we get the JSV appointment, is it okay to ask for the visa start date after 6 months or more than that?
Thanks in advance
Hi
1. Its required to be mentioned, however experience certificate is not required.
I showed other proofs like pay slips, etc to proove that I'm still working in this firm.
Also, better get experience certificate before you fly, as your employer in Germany will definitely need it before your job start.
2. It is expected that you fly within 90 days of grant of Visa.
So at the time of interview, I believe fly date after 5-6 months should be acceptable. However more than 6 months may raise Visa Officers eyebrows
But the JSV 6 months will start counting only after you have entered Germany right ???
@@nidhigera8861 not exactly
When you get Visa, there is a clear Visa start date mentioned. From this date only start 6 months.
Also a clear Visa end date is mentioned.
Hence irrespective of date of travelling to Germany, Visa start and End dates are fixed.
@@FirangiFiles but who decides the fixed date ? So thing is that I have got visa appointment date in June and I can choose any date from June 7 to June 28. After that am assuming another 45 days in visa processing. Let’s say if I get the visa in July, but I want to travel in October end because I have heard that hiring is the minimum in the last quarter and also it’s winter there and then new year holidays. So I don’t want to waste my precious 6 months during holidays. So what should I do ? Should I opt for June 7 as a date of appointment or June 28 ? Which one would be better ?
Can I ask the visa officer to keep my visa start date from October ? Is that possible ?
Sir, when will be Germany job seeker visa appointment started in Delhi ? Any new update. I'm waiting from 2 year ?
Hi, Its really a tough question.
However I see it's already re opened up in countries like Latvia, Malaysia, Pakistan etc. Also, Mumbai consulate is processing all JSV applications which were in Waiting list.
So there is no good reason for further delay in Delhi.
I'm sure it will re open anytime.
I was so scared that he might fall into water, that I missed half of what he was saying 🤣
What's the processing time for this visa
It depends on Embassy. In india in Bangalore, it takes around 1 month, in Mumbai around 4 months.
A friend in Latvia got within 17 days.

I am having overlap of 1month between 2 companies.
Means before getting relived from one company I joined other company.
Will this impact the visa case
Legally it's not allowed.
Second company my Mandatorily ask you for your previous company relieving letter + experience letter.
Also, please note that first 6 months (Probation) is extremely critical. In this time, employer has far more rights.

Hi, the video is very informative. i have a question if i got the visa confirmation lets just say on April 1st and my inted date of travel is June 1st will the gap(2months) effect the 6 months period of JSV or does visa validity starts from June 1st for next 6 months?
Hi, when you get Visa confirmation mail, they will:
1. In case, you have already deposited your passport, they will ask you your fixed date of travel. They will then stamp VISA on your Passport with your declared date of travel as Visa start date. ( you will also be instructed to provide Travel and health Insurance valid from same or earlier date.
2. In case you have not deposited your Passport in advance, they will ask you to submit your Passport + your fixed date of travel + travel insurance.
In either case, after Visa confirmation Email, your proposed date of travel will be your Visa start date.
